Those tools with wing nuts are a type of Clecos. That are used for taking a couple pieces of metals together while riveting. Really used in aviation maintenance.

Awesome tool haul. So much great stuff. Also, you can calibrate a beam type torque wrench by gently bending the indicator beam arrow to line up with zero.
Thanks! I did not know that. I've since come across a couple more of those. one is a nice New Britain and I was wondering how to calibrate it. So simple I never thought of it. :)
The wrench is used to change cylinder heads/base nuts on small aircraft.

The instrument at 49:26 is a tachometer , measure RPM and if you have the diameter of the wheel you can measure linear speed .

Hi! Gotta say i enjoyed watching your video. And look at all those tools.. i love tools. Im kinds similar that who loves to have a EXTRA SETS. Well.. maybe more then extra. By the way, that "black and decker" industrial hand grinder. In fact you did showed us when you were counting all thoese drill bits. They have a small stone kinda drill bits. Yeah. Thats it for. If im wrong, then its for a smaller version of hand grinder not angle grinder aite. 😊 keep the video coming! 😊

I loved watching all 3 videos they were fun to see those tools. Sure had a lot of screw drivers, and pipe wrenches, and key chuck keys. Thanks for posting them, boy it would have taken me years to sort.
lol! Yes, it took me several months but I still haven't put it all away. I'll use the videos as a record for when I forget everything. :)
The Allen socket is made by Apex tools, the same ones that have the Craftsman name. The reason I know this is I was purchasing some add on Craftsman sockets and one of the sockets had a Craftsman label but was marked Allen on the socket.
Thanks for the info! I never knew there was a connection there. It certainly looked similar to some of the Craftsman.

Mr. T was the neighbors cat but they never neutered him and he went back to being wild. He was injured last summer and I took care of him and so now he's mine I guess. His name was, apparently Lynx. Mr. T is the name I gave him when I didn't know he belonged to the neighbor but he's learned it and comes to me when I call him.
Those things you called heavy duty tie downs bolt down in the back of a handicap van to quick hook wheelchairs down I do believe sir. Nice haul.

At 29:31 in this video you picked up some brass looking things with a screw going through it and you said " I don"t know what these are", they are temporary rivets . We would use them when we riveted panels on the sides of lockers when you needed to hold the panel in place while you drilled the rest of the holes for rivets, Then you took them out and added your pop rivets.

I've never seen an area with more stray cats than here. We've taken in 4 and there are at least 6 around outside that we care for.
@@floridarusticrepairs I have lots of feral cats around here, I make sure they don’t go hungry. I figure God brought them to my neighborhood for a reason. I am just one variable in the equation.
I would love to see a summary. You also have boxes, maybe restore them like the gray and red one, then store to tools that you keep. Very cool finds and great videos. Keep up the good work.
I had it edited for this video but it ran too long so I'll try to get that out. Other than some light rust these boxes are in great shape so restoring them would be easy.
Roto zip bits are a gift from God for cutting drywall and up to 3/8 plywood
Thanks! I have the Craftsman version of the rotozip saw. I think it was just called a rotary cutting tool but it's the same thing.
Thats a palm nailer not a ratchet, Used in tight spaces for driving in nails Like joist hanger nails.

The l-shaped snap-on wrench is actually a brake bleeder wrench. I used to do brakes for a living and I have one of those.

Another good haul. So many things you can sell when go through them and have cash for more buys. A LOT of work for you but, you won’t go in the hole.
Thanks! I've already traded some of the power tools for a wooden beam and install help. I was also able to build a full donate tool kit for a neighbor. A lot of good will come from this haul.

The spinlock by lewmar is boating rope lock. It's usually used on sailboats to secure a halyard line for the mast or jib sails.

I learned in Scouts many years ago. A few years ago I traded an atv for a Catalina 22 sailboat I restored. Had to learn what all the parts were.

I have a few Bonnie tools that was my uncle's Guess they don't make them anymore he used to run a garage back in the '60s
It's one of those semi rare brands that I like to find hoping that someday I'll have a complete set. They seem to be good tools.
That wrench you had there said you didn't know what it was for I think it's an old distributor wrench
That's what I thought but someone else has commented and said that it's a brake bleeder wrench. I've bled brakes many times but usually just with a wrench or socket. I've never used a tool specifically made for that.
Did you know they make Craftsman tools in Taiwan now I bought a set the other day from Lowe's did not know it Tell got them home looked it says they are made in Taiwan
Yes, quite unfortunate. Stanley did try to keep at least some tool manufacturing in the US but that operation failed and closed down last year with the last USA tool sets being sold off through Lowe's. Even SK is now mostly Chinese. Seems that we're allowing vital infrastructure to collapse. That being said, some of the Taiwanese Craftsman such as the Overdrive sets are good.
Oh, and that vice is a yoke style pipe vice.
