Interesting! Their site said aluminum bronze but this is an older one so maybe they used copper back in the day, and switched to aluminum bronze for their current line. Thanks for the info! Thank you for watching!
Put a coat or two of Flood Pentrol on the impact sockets after cleaning them up.This will stop the surface rust.Flood Penetrol is a paint additive sold at hardware stores,Lowes and Home Depot
That's a shame they are so rusted, just like they were left in the bed of a tow truck. On the last box, the first rail you looked at, the Mac adapter you said looked worn out, isn't that one of those wobble adapters, you could get extensions with the same end, gives you a little flex when you need it, instead of breaking out a universal joint type adapter or socket.
Yes it is a wobble, by worn out I was looking at the friction ball, it was showing a lot of wear in that area like it may not hold a socket. Thanks for watching!
Everything I've been told is that beryllium is very toxic. Be careful if you are going to polish or sand it. I have a couple beryllium hammers. But again a good tool haul. I hope everything cleans up for you.
The Ampco is BERYLLIUM. DO NOT CLEAN IT WITHOUT PROTECTING YOURSELF PROPERLY!! Do your homework on Beryllium before you do any grinding, wire wheeling!!
The SK Metric motherload! 🔥
Yes! I don't find a lot of older metric SK. Thanks for watching!
The orange handle spinner with the red stripe is a Plomb or early Proto. The bars are also for sliding breakers they put the detent in the head.
I figured it was a decent brand, it didn't seem cheaply made. Thanks for the info! Thanks for watching!
Looking forward to your clean up video!!
Hoping they turn out as good as I think they will! Thank you for watching!
Even if some those tools are too far gone, the Snap On and Mac tools still have a warranty.
I understand, I never feel good about doing that even though they carry the warranty. Thanks for watching!
the non sparking wrench is definitely copper, and i say that because it has Beryllium stamped in it, and that is a type of copper.
