I have a question because I’m only beginning and you will be the one I’ll be watching for hours to do that swap. So how do you know your flywheel is still in good condition because the one I have is rusted and was stuck before but I made her move but I’m not sure if it will last so I wanted to have your opinion
I love you for this series, am midway through my 318ti manual swap, you’re helped greatly
Love your work thanks 👍

So it can Move just a little bit just a few teeth side to side, I think I show it in the manual transmission removal video
I should have done a separate video about it
@@ProblemSolverGarage thank you boss
318 gearbox fit or not with M52 flywheel and clutch?
I dont know
At the end it was torqued down right because I have the same pressure plate design and mine torqued to 18ft lbs does not look like yours torqued down
I’m also using stock dual mass flywheel
Also wanted to know if I could get away with not torquing them down
Sorry I don’t understand what you’re saying or what you’re asking me?
Do the pressure bolts need to be torqued down?
Pressure plate bolts*
wipe the flywheel with a 'nice clean rag' or a old clean pair of underwear
👍
