You never fail to show our Beautiful landscapes that most people will never ever see apart from these wonderful recordings Murray, Thank you so much ❤🏴❤
Another interesting journey Murray. Finally worked out how to view UA-cam on our TV in the caravan. Watching your videos is so much better on the TV rather than the phone. This is a memorable hill for me as the night before I had a visit from my oldest daughter and boyfriend admitting they had fallen pregnant!! Which now is marvellous but our daughter was only 19 and still living with us. So my climb onto this hill was lacking in concentration and thinking we will be grandparents ect ect. However a lovely granddaughter appeared later and now a 28 year old !!! How time flys. Anyhow I am on the hills more regularly ( not epic journeys) a lot more now due to watching you. Look forward to your next adventure. Need to get out and camp though???
Just tuned in after a few years, wow, the channel is more impressive than it was, the editing, graphic design, music choice, drones. At the end of the video, I found myself giving the video a huge 'Chef's' kiss. My God. ❤
32 years ago, we climbed Meall nan Tarmachan from the starting point you chose, continued along the ridge, then returned via the west ridge, making it a circular walk. This route is mostly off piste but is far more enjoyable than the traditional route.
Always brings a huge smile to my face to see lil Lexi and it looks like she loved her first wild camp, including her snoozies in the tent. Please give her some scritches for me! What an incredible spot Murray, so many fantastic views, and love the shot you got at 11:29. Glad you got to enjoy some solitude and be by yourself, it's like a gift to occasionally give to ourselves 👋
An interesting and entertaining video as always thanks Murray. I think we all need that solitude and your passion for the mountains and the great outdoors certainly gives you the opportunity to find that solitude. In saying that, I guess it is difficult with so many people now trekking over the country side. Lexi certainly looked like she enjoyed her little adventure. Keep up the great work.
absolutely correct, good to see more in the hills and mountains for sure, but can always find some alone time away from the main drags :) lol Thanks for watching ATB Murray
Yet to crack an exped with 3 medium size dogs. Wasnt much room left with two dogs. Always a great video Murray. Looks a good camp spot. I camped there many years ago. Great ridge walk.
Thanks Alasdair - was a fun trip (apart from breaking down camp in the rain 🌧️ Reckon Lexi didn’t enjoy that bit (rest was great fun tho :)) Thanks for watching ATB Murray
Hi Murray, wonderful as always and nice to see Lexi on her first wild camp. She looked liked she enjoyed herself. Like you I get in to the mountains for the solitude. I love walking and camping with my mate, but we always try and find spots where we know we will be on our own. You sigh when you opened the tent and it was raining was exactly like mine. It’s the pain of packing the ruck sack inside the tent, it makes it such hard work. Haha All the best mate 😀🥾⛰🏕️🏴🏴
Cracking wee spot 👍 It's a special can when you take your dog out for their first wild camp 👍. Plus you can't beat small dogs.... They don't take up much room on the tent 😊
That was great Murray. Amazing views as always and although the weather could have been kinder for you overnight, it looks like your wee pooch enjoyed herself 😊
@@ScotlandsMountains it's nice having a little furry ball to curl up to on a camp haha I'd like to experience it one day. Maybe I'll get a little companion one day 😝😝

I was almost about to ask where you camped Murray until I seen you descending. It became clear to me. The issue I had was thinking about lochans near Lochain na Laringe and despite climbing all 8 of them I was racking my brains thinking where was Murray but I dawned on me that you must of went north of that Lochan in the direction of Bridge of Balgie. Thanks again for another incredible video look forward to next week. Marcus
Yet another great video, love your companion my wee girl is just as keen to walk and she has the world record for getting to the bottom of a sleeping bag 😃😁
What lovely video. Seeing wee Lexie is always a treat. Good info about the mythical beastie..and enjoy your general chat to the camera. I did that hill some years back....didn't know anything about the beastie of the Loch.... I must admit a bit of solitude is refreshing. Nice to see you use a seat restraint on Lexie in the car. I think it is a legal requirement, but I am sure a lot of folk who travel with their dog in the front are not aware of this. Anyway, a very enjoyable video. Thanks as always.

she loved coming out - problem is - if there is anything above shin height vegetation she has to literally jump everywhere !!lol (or pop into my ruck sack Monty ;) lol Thanks for watching ATB Murray
One of the great things about the Scottish mountains is the fact that you can find that solitude. I think it was Naismith who said he preferred the mountains of Scotland to the Alps because the Alps had too much unwanted humanity.
Sweet little Lexi! She looked so confused when you took off for the summit after pitching the tent. 😆 She also looked pretty cold in the seat of the car at the end 🥶. That was quite a beautiful pitch, just not very flat. I understand that need for solitude…I wish I could find more of it. Cheers, and ATB!
You should have lay in late.. Made yourselves a gourmet breakfast and enjoyed the solitude a bit more... You were heading home before I was in my bed... 😂😂.. Cheers.. 🏴
