Jesus repeatedly told people that their faith healed them. What Jesus was saying was their faith in Jesus' ability to heal them was what healed them. What people need to come to terms with is that if they believe Jesus has the power to save them He certainly has the power to heal them. The same love that saved them is the same love that can heal them!

Yes, Jesus healed the paralytic and said your sins be forgiven... this was very controversial... but Jesus said which is harder? He equated physical healing with salvation/forgiveness of sin.

Yes Jesus most definitely has all power to heal. Even if the other person doesn't have faith. But you have faith. Remaining to be healed is up to the individuals faith.

It's sounds positive, but it is a very cruel message. There is no way to measure faith. Wife died of cancer, because she could not work up enough faith? It does not make sense for every situation.

My comment on 'by his stripes we are healed is that God and his word are not unidimensional but rather multidimensional. Therefore God heals us in our mind, emotions, social, physical, spiritual, financial- in every way!!!

We are healed by his stripes.. Amen. Healed from both physical and spiritual sickness. Satan's kingdom is characterized by evil, conflict, sickness, death and all sort of lies. Kingdom of God is characterized by perfect health, love, peace and life in abundance. Jesus came to bring us out of Satan's kingdom to the Kingdom of God. Jesus said 'gates of hell will not prevail against you' , those who trust in Jesus will not be kept inside Satan's kingdom they will go past it. That include both physical and spritual healing.

If ppl continue in sin, they may become sick to get a wake up call and can be healed or not healed after the sin. Or may even die. We are supposed to stop. There are many examples.
Job was sick for a time n still didn’t sin but later healed.
Asa was killed for seeking doctors rather than trusting YAH.
Believers not doing well may drink a bit of wine for pain but not get drunk.
But absolutely nothing in the pharmacy department or they will not inherit the kingdom of heaven.

Dear brother I believe your are the best exponent of Messianic Judaism from a remnant perspective there is today, but as Gentile Christian after studying the bible for sixty two years and forgetting every man made theology , and concentrating on the words of the Eternal Word, who said in John chapter 5v39, you seach the scriptures for in them you think you have eternal life, and they testify to Me, but you will not come to Me that you may have Life, and in Luke chapter 24, He took his spiritually blind disciples through the whole of the Old Testament to reveal Himself to them, I go to His words to the Jews in John chapter 8v58, before Abram was I Am, if anying keeps my words they will never die, because He is Eternal Life, in Genesis chapter 12 Abram was promised the land of Canaan, but he died and never possessed it but his descendants did, but in Hebrews chapter 11, we are told that He was looking fot a eternal city , where the Spirits of Just men are made perfect, I could go on and on and if you want to , get in touch

    2:09 Isaiah 53:4
    intimately familiar with sickness.
    Messianic prophecy.
    Literally sickness and pain.
    7:53 cannot spiritualize this
    Matt 8:16,17
He healed the sick and drove out the spirits with a word.
Referring to the healing of the sick and deliverance from the demons.
To fulfill spoken by prophet Isaiah
    He took up our infirmities
    And carried our diseases
Matthew doesn't follow the Jewish translations that existed in his day. It does not follow the Septuagint. Which NT authors often quote.
Here he translates directly from the Hebrew. We don't know where else he would have gotten it from.
    New scofield reference Bible
10:58 when he hung on the cross
He took up our diseases and carried our pains.
We esteemed Him smitten and stricken by God, when He was bore our disease and carried our pains.
We misjudged that and thought it was for His own sins.
11:28 but Matthew attributes that, as carrying our sickness and pains, to His earthly ministry.
Well no bcs we see healing in the book of acts, in the name of Jesus. Also Jesus told the believer to cleanse the leper and heal this sick.
11:37 Israel's divine healer. You mean all of us divine healer not just Jews. Healing is the children's bread. We gentiles are children of the promise.
12:27 Everything purchased at the cross. Amen to this.

    180 ° U TURN!
    Isaiah 53:3-5
    Matthew 8:16-17
    1 Peter 2:24
    [ KJV BIBLE ]
Did the Lord committed a mistake by healing them physically, and not just healing them spiritually?
And let them alone and and allowed them to suffered physically?
Did God Himself and The Holy Spirit committed the same mistake liked Jesus Christ did by healing the sick?
    22. Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
    [ Acts 2:22 KJV ]
    38. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power; who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
    [ Acts 10:38 KJV ]
    Acts 4:23-29-30-31
    Acts 5:12-17.
Is it all of that is a mistake???

DR. BROWN, I am glad you sided with the bible! All of our healing was/is in the Atonement (Is 53). But I am surprised that you did not make the correlation that the same Hebrew words, "borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows" (vs. 4), speaking of physical healing, are also used in vs. 11 & 12, speaking of spiritual healing, "bear their iniquities," "bare the sin."

Yes that shows that what Jesus did with our sins He also did with our sicknesses & therefore as much as forgiveness of sins is provided for in the atonement, physical healing of sicknesses, diseases & pain etc is also part of the atonement!

The servant in Isaiah 53 is the same servant defined no fewer than 6 times between Isaiah 41-52 as the nation of Israel. Michael Brown does great disservice by not reading Isaiah 53 in context. I guess if he did, he probably wouldn’t have fallen for the false New Testament and the idolatry of Christianity.

-The servant is the nation of Israel, not an individual. It’s plural.
      The scenario:
-Isaiah 52:15: the kings of the earth will be shocked when it is revealed who his arm has been on this whole time throughout history. And the kings of the earth will say: the statements beginning in Isaiah 53:1-8. These are the words that the kings of the earth will say when it is revealed who the arm of the Lord has been on, and these are the statements they will say. That’s who is talking in Isaiah 53:1-8 - the gentile kings of earth. The kings of earth have never made these statements before in history because it hasn’t happened yet, but why will say these statements in the true messianic age when it is revealed who the arm of the Lord had been on. It wouldn’t be a shocked to anyone, the kings of the earth if it was revealed the the arm of the Lord has been on Jesus because 2 billion people already believe in Jesus and many kings of the earth already believe in Jesus, so it wouldn’t be a shock to them to the point of being speechless if this was talking about Jesus. Despised and rejected? Jesus is the most popular figure on earth. Jesus was a rock star who was followed by such crowds that he couldn’t get away from them. Despised and rejected - hardly. Isaiah 53 also says that the servant will have seed - children. Jesus never had children or descendants, and this can’t be spiritualized into meaning “followers.” It also says that the servant will prosper. Jesus was lowly and poor. It also says that the servant will have long life. Jesus’ life was the exact opposite.
What is said about the servant about being humble and having no deceit in his mouth is crossed referenced to Zephaniah 3:9-20 which states that will be the remnant of Israel. In 53:8 in hebrew the last word is “them”, in Christian bibles they changed it to “him” to comport with their christological view. That change in Christian bibles is an attempt to change the word of God to manipulate it into a different meaning; them means a plurality, the nation of Israel, but Christian Bible writers couldn’t have that because it unravels how they are trying to use chapter 53. Another interesting thing that Christians either don’t know about or just flat out ignore in the lead up to Isaiah 53 in Isaiah 43:10-11 “"You are My witnesses," says the Lord, "and My servant whom I chose," in order that you know and believe Me, and understand that I am He; before Me no god was formed and after Me none shall be.
11I, I am the Lord, and besides Me there is no Savior.”
God explicitly says this is chapter 43 and then Christians pretend that God has amnesia because 10 chapters later chapter 53 christians claim that another savior is outlined, Jesus. God’s own words are pretty clear on that one: no other savior.

Quite clearly in Isaiah 60 God is very clear about the servant in the plural as the nation. Also, in Isaiah 53 the statements that the kings of earth will make haven’t happened yet. But when you read Isaiah 2 and 11 it’s clear that the world will be very different in the true messianic era, and the true messianic era is when the kings of earth will say that Israel had brought healing as there will be world peace as per Isaiah 2 and 11, Zachariah 9:9-10, and many other places. The healing hasn’t happened yet because we’re not in the messianic era yet. What I found about your video is that you read Jesus into the passages through false eisegesis, and my interpretation is based on exactly what the scripture says.
It’s very striking in the gospels how no one even suspects that Jesus has to die. Even Peter says, say it ain’t so, when Jesus said that he will die. And supposedly Peter was the only one who correctly identified Jesus as “the Christ”, but yet Peter has no idea about any of the supposedly clear prophecy that is so obviously about Jesus, Christians claim. No one then who supposedly even thought that Jesus might be the messiah was going around with Isaiah 53 going, all this stuff has to happen to Jesus. That’s because no one ever thought that Isaiah 53 was about an individual person. Christian New Testament writers only thought of Isaiah 53 much later when they tried to marshal support for their completely contrived idea about reframing the whole concept of messiah and invented the second coming because they knew that Jesus didn’t do anything he was supposed to do as the messiah so they attempted to keep their cognitive dissonance going.

The proper and biblical understanding is that God outlawed vicarious atonement - the righteous cannot pay for the sins of the wicked. But seeing the righteous suffer brings people to God for repentance and teshuvah. There isn’t any atonement to me by the shedding of someone else’s blood, but if that person was righteous or even not righteous but didn’t deserve to suffer and die, that compels me to look for God and repent to him. That’s the proper meaning of seeing someone suffer and die when they didn’t deserve it that leads to then seek out God and repent to him and turn from sin. Isaiah 49:6 the purpose of Israel is to be a light to the nations. So even during persecution, the existence of the Jewish people points the way to God. What happens to Israel does lead people to God - to repent and to teshuvah. The holocaust (Jacob’s trouble Jeremiah 30) led to the reestablishment of the land of Israel and the ingathering of the Jews. Except for this, most messianic prophecy hasn’t happened yet. I think you’re trying to assume with a foregone conclusion that Jesus is the foregone conclusion that he is the messiah and then trying to figure out how can all the messianic prophecy can still work if he is the messiah but none of the messianic prophecies have actually happened yet. But you have it backward and then you’re trying to reverse engineer it. Both messianic era prophecies, which Isaiah 53 is a part but not about the messiah as an individual, and prophecy about the messiah as an individual - neither of these have happened yet. If you assume that they have happened already then you go around trying to make it fit but it doesn’t fit. For example, the kings of the world not saying yet that the persecution and suffering of the Jews have brought healing is because it’s not the messianic era yet and who the arm of the Lord has been on hasn’t been revealed in the way it will when it will when the third temple gets built and the nations of the world have peace and there’s worldwide knowledge of the one true God without anyone having to teach about God. Messianic era prophecies and messianic individual prophecies serve as criteria to determine if someone is the messiah and whether it’s the messianic era yet, not assuming that Jesus is the messiah (which you do) and then since prophecies haven’t happened yet meaning that those criteria are false.

Isaiah brings the kings he introduced in Is. 52:15 into his narrative from Is.53:1-6, where they present their message and testimony about the servant. Isaiah returns to those kings in Is.60:3, which sees the fulfilment of Is. 53:11, for by the knowledge of the true God, which the servant brings, the Gentiles can be justified (they now come to the light that remnant Israel - the servant - has helped them to see).
Note that justification is NOT by faith in messiah or faith in any redeeming blood, but by the knowledge that the servant [the faithful remnant of Israel) brings to them - a connection to God and walking in his ways, ie being a light to the nations.

Jesus was called the sacrificial lamb.... The priests mercifully killed the perfect sacrificial lamb. They did not encircle it kicking, gouging, torturing it without mercy before taking it's life. BUT this is what was done to Jesus, the beating, tortuous whipping until he no longer resembled a man had nothing to do with his sacrifice for our sin. It was the stripes he endured that purchased our healing.

The whole notion of using Jesus as a blood sacrifice for sin atonement is totally disqualified by God’s own rules and refuted by God himself. God outlawed human sacrifice, outlawed vicarious atonement, Christians have the wrong animal sacrifice analogy (Passover lamb has nothing to do with sin or atonement, the Yom kippur scapegoat was for the sins of the whole nation. blood sacrifices were for unintentional sin, and what God sought was repentance and teshuvah. God instructed Israelites to use the lamb for the blood at passover because the Egyptians worshiped lambs as idols and prohibited killing lambs. Interesting how Egyptians had lambs as idols and Christians worship and idolize the lamb - Jesus - too), Jesus would have been circumcised which is a blemish on him as a sacrifice according to the rules of sacrifice, and is the case for all Jewish men, the blood of sacrifices had to be sprinkled on the alter not on the ground of a pagan Roman execution field, the priests/levites would have to be the ones to slaughter and sacrifice not Roman soldiers, and on and on and on. Jesus as a sacrifice to God is completely refuted by God.

Therein is one of the major goals of the New Testament: a document of political propaganda by the State of Rome. One of the goals of the New Testament is to whitewash the atrocities and oppression of the state of Rome by scapegoating the Jews. The state of Rome executed over 100,000 Jews for political insurrection alone during that period, and Jesus happened to be one of them. The tyranny and atrocities of the Roman Empire were all encompassing. The New Testament as a document of Rome without fail paints Romans in it as innocent, sympathetic, having clarity of who Jesus was, having more faith than anyone who Jesus ever saw (the roman centurion), and on and on positive things. On the other hand, the Jews were evil, the devil, spawn of Satan, greedy, betrayers, scheming, thrives, murderers, blind, dense, ungodly, abusers, and on and on. But the truth of the matter was that the Jews were an occupied, oppressed, enslaved, abused, dominated minority that Rome would slaughter and rape with impunity. There was nothing virtuous about any occupying Roman in any of the areas where the New Testament took place, and there was nothing evil or ungodly or dense about the Jews. Rome crushed all and any opposition or even what they suspected as being future opposition, and to Rome Jesus would have been a political rebel who needed to be crushed, and that’s exactly what they did, and they would have done it without any hesitation whatsoever.

God refused human sacrifice among the Israelites, but Jesus is not a mere human. Jesus is the eternal Son of God who added human nature to His person so He could die for sin and offer everlasting life in Him. Human sacrifice as it was practiced by the Canaanites could not remove sin, but Jesus’ sacrifice did. This substitutionary sacrifice was promised in Isaiah 53 and in Psalm 22 and a reference to Him being pierced in Zachariah 12:10. He was not a victim, like pagan human sacrifices were, rather, Jesus willingly gave His life to conquer sin and death for us.
The sacrificial system, Passover, and other events that were practiced by Israel were shadows pointing to the real sacrifice, which was Jesus. Pattern is prophecy.
For instance, Abraham’s almost-sacrifice of Isaac on Mt. Moriah is a type that points to Jesus.
1)God told Abraham to take his son, his only son whom he loves and sacrifice him. Abraham took a three day journey to the mountain to sacrifice his son. Isaac was as good as dead when they left and on the third day, Isaac was restored to life. Likewise, Jesus is called God’s Son, His one and only Son, whom He loves and is we’ll please with. Jesus died on that very mountain and on the third day was restored to life.
      2) Isaac carried the wood on his back up the mountain. Jesus carried his wood on his back to his high place of execution.
      3) Isaac allowed himself to be bound, and did not resist when he was laid on the altar. Jesus did not defend himself during his trial, and allowed Himself to be scourged, mocked, beaten, and nailed to a cross.
      4) The Angel of the Lord, stopped Abraham from sacrificing his son, but provided a substitute sacrifice. A ram, whose head was stuck in a a bramble bush. “And Abraham named that place The LORD Will Provide, as it is said to this day, 'On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided. ' On that very mountain, the LORD did provide a substitute. Jesus is a vicarious atoning substitute for us, as the ram was for Isaac. Jesus wore a crown of thorns on his head; a bramble around his head. Those thorns represented sins curse. Pattern is prophecy.
In the Passover, blood from a spotless lamb was applied to the door posts and the lentil of the Hebrews homes. Because of the blood, the death Angel passed over those homes. Judgment was withheld from those homes. In the same way, for those who have the blood of Jesus applied to their hearts by faith, they will escape the final judgment. The Passover lamb is not to have any of its bones broken. So to, Jesus’ bones were not broken, while the two thieves on either side of him were broken to speed up their death.
The firstborn children of the Hebrews were to be offered up to the LORD and instead of sacrificing them, they could offer an animal in the child’s place. A substitutionary sacrifice. Likewise, God the Father offered up His Son for our sakes, but no substitute was given for Him because He was the substitute.
There are so many more types and shadows pointing to Jesus, but I won’t go further.
