If we will only make personal trial of the power of the Word of God, the power of the blood of Christ, the power of the Holy Spirit, the power of prayer, and the power of a surrendered life, then we will know the fullness of power in Christian life and service. We will make this clear in the following chapters.
There are many people who do not know that there is a life of abiding rest, joy, satisfaction, and power. There are many other people who, while they think there must be something beyond the life they know, do not know how to obtain it. This book is written to help them.

Do thankful this preacher/teacher tells the truth of the recieving of the Holy Ghost. It's not automatic because one believes. One must yield every member of oneself. The evidence is praising in God's tongue.
No, that's not the evidence! The evidence is the love and power that you receive. God can give you the gift of tongue, but like Paul said:Do all speak in tongues?" The pentecostal church promotes this false teaching.

This is the problem of the modern teology. Everything is logisticly and legalistically explained, but there is no true pursuit of God, the one that we do with our whole heart and spirit and seek His heart and spirit. First is to know His Love and be fascinated by that, and then we can study, pray, do church activities etc. The foundation is the experienced teology of heart! in the times the Bible speaks about, they HEARD the Word of God, it was not just a written letter, it was Word spoken by the Power of the Spirit and passionate heart for God of the speaker. God continues to speak, He want a personal comunication with His heart, and this is only possible in the intimacy with His person. In the constant gaze of the soul upon Him!

Holy spirt. Guide me to believe the plan’s that you have for my life. Holy spirt you hold every power and knowledge, you hold in your hands. I look up to you and asked you to guide me and give me the strength and knowledge. Wisdom to understand your work in my life. Help me to grow and live according to your holy will. Help me to walk by your spirit. Help me to live by your law. Holy spirt were are so many things that I want you to teach me to lean more about you. And the love of God in my life. I want to love you more and live according to your holy will. Open my eyes to see. Open my ears to lessen your wisdom and your words. Fill your word written deep into soul. To live according to your will. Help me to pray by your spirit. O, spirit of help me to pray. Jesus Christ be always with me and live within in me. Never live me. I love you Jesus Christ. With all my heart and with all my soul. I will not stop loving you. My Lord all my praise to you. I honour your holy name. In Jesus’s mighty name Amen 🙏

In chapter one the reader says that “Satan left Jesus completely vanquished.” This is not correct. It should the stated the other way around.
Thanks for bringing this up, Jonathan. I think the original intention was that Satan departed from Jesus, completely vanquished. Satan was vanquished, but I can see that the way it is worded is confusing. We'll see if we can't clarify it.
There is some confusion in the Bible over the word 'believe.' Jesus said that whoever 'believes' in Him shall have everlasting life; yet, the demons believe - and tremble! The word believe implies a personal relationship, an infilling of the Holy Spirit. It is not simply an intellectual trust, but one borne of being friends with God.
Referring to the Holy Spirit, Jesus said, "Whoever believes in Me shall have rivers of living water bubbling up inside of him." So many false believers dismiss this verse with a shrug of their shoulders, saying, "Whatever that means!" However, having rivers of living water is the eternal difference of heaven and hell, God's favor or His wrath, of being a sheep in God's pastor or a rejected goat.
Do you know Christ or is He a distant figure? When you pray, do you feel like you are talking to air or are you talking with your best friend? The basis of salvation is, 'Do you know Christ?" Do you know Him or will He say to you, "Depart from Me; I never knew you"? Christ died on a Cross so that we may know Him. Jesus Christ is the light of the world.
