@@amazingpsm actually i think there's only one pair of the bottom legs, the other one's supposed to be the spider fangs, which probably makes it worse since that means the other 3 pairs of legs are kinda lost in the logo

What also makes the suit so cool is the fact that Miguel is so fucking jacked. Like I thought he was genetically spliced with a spider not pure protein
The term "Death's Head" is just a fancy and classical way of saying "skull". The 2099 comic was probably using it in that way, instead of trying to reference Death's Head from Transformers. Like, I read the original Phantom of The Opera book (totally didn't just listen to the Christopher Lee audiobook) and they constantly refer to The Phantom looking like he has a Death's Head.
I guess Spider-Man 2099 is supposed to look more like an actual spider. The blues/black and red with the chest logo looking like a spider's camouflage (Looking like a threat to predators)
I love his original costume. I don’t see it as “fixed” but just a different version of it. I love the obvious Skull design over the spider. It’s something pretty unique to O’Hara and stands out, while still having the essence of the spider.
To me, he's still more interesting than Miles. Because he's not just a person that got bitten by a spider, same as Spider-Man, but somehow got more abilities, and keeps getting them. Miguel isn't like Peter, which makes him having different powers more understandable, and logical, and way more fun
I immediately recognized Death’s Head as a freelance peace keeping agent (bounty hunter) from the Transformers comics. I’m way too nerdy for my own good.
I haven't seen a Miguel O'Hara design that I dislike to this day. I've never been bothered by the capeless design, because it just looks that cool. However, I would admit that any design of his would be instantly better with the cape. Hell, even Spider-Man Unlimited recognized that.
This is what I love about 2099 though. His costume is so unique and I feel like it doesn’t have to look like Spider-Man to be spider-man. Especially in 2099
I like how the ending worked like a cartoon like where psm checks the script I like that it was like something buggs would do in the looney toons I hope we get more like this in the show that would be sick
I get what you’re saying, BUT- 1. I don’t think either logo looks much like a spider, so reducing the presence of the skull sorta just makes it harder to see what the suit is going for. 2. I feel like the skull is part of Miguel and his heritage, a touch of personality to shine through the mask of Spider-Man. Making that trade is like reducing a part of Miguel in an already iffy adaption of him. 3. The lenses aren’t as cool and don’t come together to form a spider like they used to. 4. I like the clsssic suit more and people aren’t allowed to have different opinions than me 😡
Ngl i do like it when the suit has the additional eye spikes on the lens shape, but the atsv design is superior (too bad miles' suit in the movie was undercooked as hell)

Nah bro what are you talking about??? Miguel's classic suit is great, i loved it ever since i first laid my eyes on it back when i was a kid, the only thing that's wrong about it is the fact that the spider logo doesn't even look like a spider, other than that the suit itself is phenomenal and doesn't need any changes. Good video. I agree, I was insanely disappointed when Miguel didn’t have a back logo or a cape in SM or SM2. Hopefully they add the Spider-verse suits so we can have a good 2099 to play as. I’d say the best design of a 2099 suit would be one that merges the ASTV Suit and the classic suit.
