I thought it was interesting how The Amazing Spider-man never found uncle bens killer he’s still out in about giving chocolate milk to adult looking teens
I think it was a thing of realization. He was after his ass up until the first lizard encounter on the bridge. Afterwards he realized there were problems bigger than himself and that countless of others like that kid he just saved were in need of his help. He learned not to be so selfish with his abilities. I also think this was like a “uncle ben wouldn’t have wanted this” moment because Pete was initially out for BLOOD when he told the car thief that “this could’ve gone a *lot* worse” as he was already being suffocated by his webbing

Something I very much love about Andrew’s Peter is the way they portray him as an outcast. They don’t need to give him the classic nerd look or give him hobbies that are cliche among geek characters. He’s a conventionally attractive skater with a bubbly personality. But Andrew does such a good job at playing him as this awkward, atypical, in-his-own-head sort of kid that I believe him in that role. Just the way he delivers dialogue is very “tell don’t show”. He’s the most likely to be seen as popular and cool out of the other movie portrayals, but he’s the Spider-Man that feels the most socially awkward. Also, it’s important to note that he’s only ever a smooth talker with confidence when he’s Spider-Man.
Another issue I have with TASM is that they never did anything with Flash from the first movie, he was a bully to Peter at first, but when Uncle Ben died he tried to comfort Peter. Really wish that they had become some kind of friend with each other after that interaction.
As someone who has abandonment issues from my dad leaving, this movie really impacted me. Andrew has always been my favorite Spider-Man because I can relate to him, which is what Stan Lee said is the core of the character is relatability.

They could have kept in the stuff with Peter's parents if they removed the conspiracy aspect and just used it to further cement Peter's abandonment issues. The rest of the movie is pretty much perfect. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
That's like about 2 problem for TASM 1. Other then that it's flawless (8/10). At least Lizard is still good villain because his story and everything (except his head design) stayed true to the comics. For the villain part you mentioned, I agree that they could have used other villains too like Kraven the Hunter, Shocker, Venom, or Carnage. I don't know other villains that are perfect for dark and gritty environment but still. For Peter's parents storyline, I was thinking maybe they should have completed that storyline in the first one instead of showing in it in the 2nd one.
For me, the Amazing Spider-Man is my favorite of all the movies. Peter’s abandonment issues are so real, Ben and May are real people with real issues, Peter and Gwen have incredible chemistry, the CGI still holds up… There’s just so much I love about that movie. But yeah, Kurt was butchered by editing and deleted scenes. That’s the worst part of this movie, the Sony interference. I have a feeling that Gwen ending was one of the things that Sony wanted in the movie because they wanted to keep Emma Stone on board for the sequel. However, you can feel the love that most of these filmmakers had for the character, and the real human emotion brought into the movie that makes everyone so interesting. But I feel like we lose a lot of that thanks to them wanting to set up a rival MCU after failing to get TASM into the MCU because they offered the deal too late. Speaking of which, TASM2 is the definition of style over substance. The movie is visually stunning, holding up better than most MCU movies. The cinematography, impressive CGI and character designs all blend together so seamlessly(besides the awful goblin design) that you might forget you’re watching a movie… Well, you would have if it was a better movie. Max Dillon gets stuck in the villain trope sadly established by Carrey’s Riddler, one that only really worked for that character, and has to suffer being a weird, unfinished character. Green Goblin was forced in FAR too early, and the Goblin subplot leads to the “Parker Blood” reveal that spits in the face of the idea that anyone can wear the mask. The parents are functionally USELESS in this movie, having served their purpose in the first film, so their reintroduction feels like bloat. There’s a reason that when you look up the promotional release of the first ten minutes on UA-cam, it’s only the Peter sequence. There’s so much awfulness in this movie, but there are two scenes that NAIL everything about this character: the graduation chase scene, and the Spider-Man montage after Peter and Gwen break up. Both of these scenes deeply understand the character and carry the rest of the movie as something beautiful, something that should have been the center of the movie. And there are multiple little moments that are brilliant even in the bad parts as well. The Times Square slo-mo scene, the scene where Peter and Gwen work together to fix his webshooters so he can fight Electro, the part where Peter sees Gwen and just walks into the street like an idiot, giving one of the best comedic moments in a Spider-Man movie… It’s just so weird. It’s like a third of the movie is a gourmet steak, and the rest is that same steak if it had been left in the fridge for a week, rotting, before finally being cooked. Sony interference did a number on this movie, and I honestly wonder what this story could have been like if they had just stayed away. Sadly, we’ll never know, and despite the fan demand for Garfield to come back, it’s highly unlikely we’ll ever see him in the suit again. To wrap this up, I think that Andrew is the key to what makes this movie so great. He loved this character, far more than any actor I’ve heard portray Spidey, and you can feel that love. Even in No Way Home, he’s still in love with this character and wants to do more with it, being the scene-stealer most of the time and having three of the best moments in the film for me: Saving MJ, saying hi to Max in the middle of the fight, and, with Tobey, meeting Peter on the roof of the school to explain that heartbreak and loss is part of the job description. He’s fantastic, to the point that I’ll watch anything I can that has Andrew in it outside of Spider-Man because he carries that same energy to all of his work. My rating for both of these movies TASM: 8/10. A flawed movie with such a compelling core that I can’t ever drop it below that score. TASM2: 5/10. A visually stunning movie with the best score in any Spider-Man movie and some of the best scenes in the character’s history, bogged down by studio intervention, a bloated, diced up plot, and a seemingly failed attempt to build a cinematic universe(unless they reveal Venom takes place in the TASM universe).
TASM movies are my favorite Spider Man movies apart from No Way Home too. They are entertaining. TASM 1, I have a soft spot for it. It's because it's the first movie I have seen in theaters. I was 8 when it released. It was my child hood. TASM 1 (8/10) TASM 2 (7.5/10)
Tasm was always MY spiderman, sure the writing wasn't very good but I love the actors and whoever directed the swinging and action and it just feels straight from the comics.
I definitely see where you're coming from, but for some reason I have so much attachment to both movies that I cannot see myself disliking either even in the slightest.
The thing is, if people are expecting the movie to be bad and everyone says that, when you watch it, it'll be bad (pay attention to the plot and movie deeper and point out bad stuff) but if you have a good mindset on a move and watch it, it turns out good. That's why its better to get a blind reaction with no one telling you its very bad or very good, see for yourself.
Still kills me how tasm 2 was handled, but there was a re edited version out there with some fun fanmade voice lines for andrew with a sound alike, also rearranging certain plot points into different places! It's called "The Parker Luck" and I haven't seen many people talk about it at all! Hopefully you catch this one PSM lol
I grew up as a small child with Tobey, but Andrew in tasm was MY Spider-Man. That movie came out at a transitory point in my life that being my turning into a teenager and needless to say I suffered a very abusive physically and mentally relationship at the hands of my father. I vicariously lived through this movie through one of the hardest eras of my life and despite watching it countless times for over a decade now even as an adult, I never connected the dots with the eureka moment after he saved the boy on the bridge. Your totally right and it's totally shifted my perspective in an even deeper direction. I already loved this movie but I feel like I understand it better now thanks to your video so thank you for that. I wish I liked tasm 2 even a little bit and I want a tasm 3 but tasm 1 is my jam 😂
Really loved in the first TASM how Spiderman moves. He feels a lot like the early ditko stuff, where he looks all creepy and spindly. Like a spider even??? I dunno, it gives him a really interesting visual distinction from the other versions of Spiderman
i also think the tasm 1 suit has really grown on me with the context of the movie. I used to hate the colors and lens but it makes sense when you view it as how this version was just an angsty teen whos angry about the death of his family members new and old. Its a pretty menacing suit which i used to not like but it fits
TASM1 was the first spidey movie i've seen in the cinemas, and to this day i love almost everything in it, there's a lot of issues, but there's so many good points about it too
When I first saw the film I kinda missed the significance of Peter's realisation at the Stacey's Dinner because the scene was followed by a flirty scene between him and Gwen. I feel if he went from the dinner scene...then went outside and Peter seemed distracted as Gwen tried to talk to him and then when the sirens go off he sees Captain Stacey getting ready to do his duty that's when he realises that he has to do the same. Instead the tone shifts to being cute and about their relationship and then flips back to serious. ...then to further confuse things when Peter has saved the people on the bridge from Lizard he then tells Gwen it's his responsibility to deal with Connors because he created him...which kinda undercuts the idea that he's learning of his "moral obligation to do good things" as he is directly related to the creation of the Lizard so it feels, although he is doing the right thing, once again he's cleaning up a personal mess rather than being purely altruistic. Just slightly undercuts the message for me
Damn when you said "you might as well subscribe, you like spider man it's all I ever post about now get over here" I had no choice because this isn't the first video of yours I watched so you deserve it
Even though TASM isn’t a direct 1:1 adaptation (I don’t think I can name a comic movie that is 1:1) the basic arc for Peter in the first movie & the shift in his personality and perspective is definitely a well done adaptation of that transition into being the Spider-Man we know and love
Both are Amazing ! It finally gives a reason to Peter Parker's origin as Spider-Man. The first is very dark, he wants revenge but ends up saving the city. The second one is very colorfull since he became Spider-Man everything's right but Gwen is the problem he's lost and scared. The fact that during the two movies you can see Peter maturing up is very interesting.
This is one of the hottest takes ever said but I prefer tasm 2 over the first one. I enjoyed the villains a lot besides the designs. I thought Harry's story was done pretty well, mostly due to Andrew and Danes chemistry because the actual story, while it wasn't bad, it was very basic. I dont think I need to explain Peter and Gwens storyline being so good. Electro was a compelling vilain with good motives and I liked everything they did with him other than his design although I get why they made him just a blue guy. I'd give Tasm 2 an 8/10 while I'd give the first a 7/10
TASM 2 is my second favorite! It used to be my favorite when I was younger but as I got older I loved the darker aesthetic of the first one more. The TASM 1 suit has always been my favorite spiderman suit too
The short film is the little montage where Peter watches gwen, and saves the kid. That's all the film you need. It's so self contained and perfect in every way.
I do have some bias towards the TASM movies or at least the first one because I saw the first one in cinemas and it was like the coolest thing I saw as a 11 year old. So this movie to me is nostalgic by those reasons alone. While I will defend the first movie for what it is, I don't mind the second one I have a soft spot for it but I'm fine with people hating on it as they have there reasons to. I feel like overall these movies could have been more but likely got screwed by executive meddling.
I love that when your PSM drawing in the chair at the end shows up, his shoe fits perfectly in the little gap between the / and the 1 in the 10! Also I feel like this is the second outro you've been eating in at least and I vibe w it lmao it reminded me to actually go eat something LMAO
I feel like Tasm was for an older audience most people with real problems can relate to the movie on a deeper level because of the ups and down Peter went through
Deleted scenes from TASM1 are fixing a lot for Connors character, he does what he does, so he could be whole and hug his son, not to mention a scene of him comforting Peter after Ben is gone
"There were always people willing to accept him into their lives but Peter just neglected them." That line hit really close to home. Damn, I'm tearing up
I think the reason harry thought peter may know spider man is that his mental state was slowly declining, and he was becoming by more rash and arrogant.
I feel like I'm one of the few people in the world who prefers TASM1's suit to TASM2's suit. I don't know, but I kinda dig the more orange eyes and basketball head. My only issue is the belt area looking off. I kinda think TASM2's head looks a little too big compared to the other proportions of the suit.
I liked both suits but TASM 1 has its own unique look while TASM2 being the more better design looks a lot like Tobeys suit I remember in the video game you can add or take away the belt mind I think it was a very cool edition to the suit where he would keep his spare web shooters.
I hate the criticism that tasm peter is too cool, peter is a tall lanky dude (yes hes hot) but he also skates around school, keeps to himself, wears the weird hoodie with the thumbs out, and like goes to an abandoned shipping yards or something to skate. He's a weird dude and thats why hes alone. This peter doesn't even have a friend like all the other peters. Like psm said its not trying to be fully comic accurate. Second note Tom is literally the most unbelievable Peter Parker. Youre telling me his jacked and cut out of his mind peter parker isnt getting bitches at his nerdy ass school? Peter in the home trilogy sticks out for the complete opposite reason he should. Hes a fuckn chad at a tech high school surrounded by nerdy kids that he should be like.
People shit on this version of the Uncle Ben speech but I honestly really like it. It just makes it more normal and relatable. What the fuck does "with great power comes great responsibility" mean to me? I don't have any great powers. But everybody can do *something* to help. Everybody has the ability to help somebody else in some way and if you *can* help you *should* help
I'd bump up tasm 2s score to 7/10, just because of the music Hanz Zimmer kills it in every frame of this movie, even the badly written ones. I also really like the villain designs. Electro look cool as hell, and I like how gross the goblin looks.
Actually, they both stayed true to the comics. Connors want to try to use the Lizard DNA 🧬 to regrow his missing arm. Lizard stayed true to the comics because in the comics he did try to turn people to Lizards and even in Spider Man the Animated series he tried that too
I think @filmspeak does a exceptional job explaining why this scene worked 8:00. Actually he just went really hard on defending and ultimately giving more context and understanding on why TASM duology worked. I'd suggest watching those vid lol
I love tasm 1 and tasm 2 while I thoroughly enjoyed it when I rewatched it. But I still have the same criticism that I had when I was 14 electro was undercooked snd they rushed the Green Goblin which pissed me off yet their is something incredibly charming and endearing with this film
Tobey was a classic I love it ,but Andrew ,there's so much that I like about his version too, the fighting like when he crawled on the lizard's body ,the rapid web shooting ,the sewer spider web scenes and I love his swinging, but I thought the parent side story is so boring
I liked how real uncle Ben and aunt may felt, watching them talk was like someone putting a camera in my house and hearing my grandparents lecture/talk to me
I love both of these movies, not because they’re amazing or anything but because I grew up with them, so they have a special place in my heart. What you were saying abt harry though, i completely agree, but also, Connors was rushed to find a cure for Norman, BUT HE SURVIVED TWO YEARS, like there was no reason for him to be rushed on that.
I watched both tasm films millions of xs I love them both and I believe it’s peak idc what you the only flaw to me is the beginning of tasm is not needed everything is beautiful
Rewatched this movie on monday and I think it still holds up pretty well. I'm really glad we're out of the era of trashing them just because they're not like the Raimi movies.
18:39 it’s very dumb that Peter and Harry have been friends a whole time, despite Harry, not been in TASM 1 at all, but I have to say this music is fire, where can I find the original?
One contrast I like is how in Raimi Spidey , Tobey notices uncle Ben after he is already surrounded by civilians and police and catches his killer same night. With Andrew he is alone with his dying uncle Ben ,screaming for help while holding him , then spending nights grieving, fighting but never finding his killer, maybe for the better
Definitely still my favorite Spider-Man film and suit. TASM 1 is a movie I really love. I understand some of the issues with it but I’ve still watched it a lot and love Andrews grimer performance
8:45 That’s what I liked about the ending. It showed us that Peter doesn’t know what he’s doing. He doesn’t know if he wants to prioritize Captain Stacy’s dying wish or be with Gwen which is what they both want
the emotional backing of curt conners is found in the deleted scenes of the amazing spider-man. curt conners ended up being some weirdo that wants to turn a bunch of people into lizards in the final film. if you look at the deleted scenes (which im sure theyre available for free on youtube somewhere), you can actually see his emotions and reasoning behind why he does what he does
When i watched TASM 2 for the first time just after the first TASM and i was able to understand maxs need to be seen due to him constantly being overlooked by everyone. I also think the Gwen and Max elevator scene helps alot with that.
How id fix tasm 1 Is making the lizard trying to find help to not become this lizard But when he becomes the lizard and be normal he gets rejected and embarrassed and humiliated etc. so he the does the only thing to make him normal. Make others like him
I was 11 at the time this one came out I remember absolutely loving it and not really understanding why I related with this version so much until I got older and realized as a teenager this version is more relatable but as an adult Tobey's Spider-Man is more relatable
I love the first movie, but I could’ve made a difference to the storyline too so I agree with you about that part when he had to break up with Gwen and he supposed to wait onto the next movie and then might be a third part if it’s possible because Gwen needs to stay alive in that kind of universe sort of thing, and she would’ve never died in the second film
You know how the principal tells him not to ride the skateboard in the halls, and he then continues to ride his skateboard? That is showing that he doesn’t listen to authority’s and will eventually not listen to what Gwen’s dad told him
I think they may have planned for the final wish to be honored and bring in MJ in the next movie, but the two actors had really good chemistry and were dating off screen after shooting the movie, so I think they may have just kept her in.
I thought it was interesting how The Amazing Spider-man never found uncle bens killer he’s still out in about giving chocolate milk to adult looking teens

My rating for both of these movies
TASM: 8/10.
HOHOLY SHIT I LOVE THAT
(no joke tasm 2 is my fav movie of all time)
TASM movies are my favorite Spider Man movies apart from No Way Home too. They are entertaining.
TASM 1, I have a soft spot for it. It's because it's the first movie I have seen in theaters. I was 8 when it released. It was my child hood.
TASM 1 (8/10)
TASM 2 (7.5/10)
Tasm was always MY spiderman, sure the writing wasn't very good but I love the actors and whoever directed the swinging and action and it just feels straight from the comics.
TASM 1 was well written but not the 2nd one
Nah tasm 1 is well written , It's just the second movie was rushed
@@Starsdealer that's what I said
I definitely see where you're coming from, but for some reason I have so much attachment to both movies that I cannot see myself disliking either even in the slightest.
They should've had a TASM3. TASM2 to introduce Harry and TASM3 makes him into a villain.
I love both TASM films. I love Webb trying to be more realistic tone.
Me too. They are my favorite Spider Man movies apart from No Way Home too
i also think the tasm 1 suit has really grown on me with the context of the movie.
Just slightly undercuts the message for me
Damn when you said "you might as well subscribe, you like spider man it's all I ever post about now get over here" I had no choice because this isn't the first video of yours I watched so you deserve it
Thanks 😎🤝
I love TASM. it was dark and had mature themes of loss. TASM 2 felt like a completely different universe. It was too comical and not enough darkness.
The tone is brighter but that was the point the movie was meant tk feel like a race against the clock especially with that ending
"It was too comical and not enough darkness." What are these people saying LMAO
It wasn’t comical though💀
Jesus loves you 🙏✝️
@@TheFinalFlesh I think he's saying that he wished that the TASM2 movie was just as mature as the first movie.
Growing up I would watch these movies non stop, I know there not ‘great’ movies but that has never stopped me from enjoying them.
Thank you for adding the “or boy” at 23:47, I was worried I wasn’t being represented in this commentary of TASM!
I'd give Tasm 2 an 8/10 while I'd give the first a 7/10
Agreed, TASM 2 is easily my favorite Spider-Man movie
TASM 2 is my second favorite! It used to be my favorite when I was younger but as I got older I loved the darker aesthetic of the first one more. The TASM 1 suit has always been my favorite spiderman suit too
holy shit
I never hated tasm 2, and never thought it was a bad movie. I respect your opinion
@@qwertyzillaofficial2969 my favorite Spider Man movie apart from No Way Home too
There is a reason why Amazing Spider-Man is my favorite movie.
You just changed my mind about the first movie, I'm really in the mood to watch it now
The first TASM movie’s darker feel makes it my favorite Spider-man movie
Me personally, I love the first TASM, and the Uncle Ben speech makes it closer to that of USM (which I loved just as much in the beginning)
The short film is the little montage where Peter watches gwen, and saves the kid.
That's all the film you need. It's so self contained and perfect in every way.
The TASM2 intro is one of the greatest super hero intros in film
Lizard is still great. His story stayed true to the comics. But yeah he could have been perfect if they let Marc Webb keep those scenes
@@arinhossain2100 Agreed!
I loved that Peter (Andrew) likes to skate I always thought that’s was pretty cool
"There were always people willing to accept him into their lives but Peter just neglected them." That line hit really close to home. Damn, I'm tearing up
😭😭
Personally TASM is my favourite series mostly because I grew up on him, never really liked the Raimi films although they are great.
Finally, a fellow TASM Goblin enjoyer.
It’s been a year… where is THOMAS
The first movie is so good, I absolutely love it, nice to see people give it more credit
9:20 bruh, thats the same motivation that have in the original comic, lizard is not complex at the beginning...
Only real ones truly understand the Tasm movies
Ok, the lizard and Connor’s are separate entities with different ghoals
Actually, they both stayed true to the comics. Connors want to try to use the Lizard DNA 🧬 to regrow his missing arm. Lizard stayed true to the comics because in the comics he did try to turn people to Lizards and even in Spider Man the Animated series he tried that too
I think @filmspeak does a exceptional job explaining why this scene worked 8:00. Actually he just went really hard on defending and ultimately giving more context and understanding on why TASM duology worked.
I'd suggest watching those vid lol
Electro’s theme is one of THE BEST THING IN TASMT
It’s been a year where is Tom? 😢
You forgot to talk about the most important character in TASM 2
THE RHINO!
Norman Osborn is the main character
I love tasm 1 and tasm 2 while I thoroughly enjoyed it when I rewatched it. But I still have the same criticism that I had when I was 14 electro was undercooked snd they rushed the Green Goblin which pissed me off yet their is something incredibly charming and endearing with this film
Lmfao I knew you watched high top films😭😭
TASM 2 is still my favorite Spidey movie
The only movie I think tops it for me spider-verse and maybe no way home. But I agree that it is one the best.
Tasm 2 is one of the worst movies I’ve ever watched
@@mateopaez1020You need to watch way more movies💀
@@mateopaez1020 Best!! Lol the coolest, the most futuristic the most DARING, largest scale
I aso like tasm 1 cus they actually showed insight on our favorite bully as to why he acts the way he does
As an Autistic Spider-Man fan. I can confirm that I knew about the Mother Scene with Max Dillon
🤝
Welcome brethren
Same here 😂
Tobey was a classic I love it ,but Andrew ,there's so much that I like about his version too, the fighting like when he crawled on the lizard's body ,the rapid web shooting ,the sewer spider web scenes and I love his swinging, but I thought the parent side story is so boring
I don’t see how ppl hated these
I liked how real uncle Ben and aunt may felt, watching them talk was like someone putting a camera in my house and hearing my grandparents lecture/talk to me
It is funny because Andrew Garfield is by far the most comic accurate Spider-Man out of all of them.
He is the most closest to the comics
Ig the Raimi trilogy just does not exist to you?
I love both of these movies, not because they’re amazing or anything but because I grew up with them, so they have a special place in my heart. What you were saying abt harry though, i completely agree, but also, Connors was rushed to find a cure for Norman, BUT HE SURVIVED TWO YEARS, like there was no reason for him to be rushed on that.
None of the spider man movies are bad, they’re good in there own way.
I haven't seen amazing spider man since it was in theaters and finding out about max mom just surprised me 9 years and just found out
I love this movie so much
Nice video PSM 🤟
Loved Amazing Spider-Man since the day it came out
18:39 it’s very dumb that Peter and Harry have been friends a whole time, despite Harry, not been in TASM 1 at all, but I have to say this music is fire, where can I find the original?
pizza tower music
someone needs to make an edit of the movie with all the cut important context scenes added back in
First: my old comments are cringe as fuck🤮🤮🤮
Second: both movies are goated😌✌️
YEA😂🎉
One contrast I like is how in Raimi Spidey , Tobey notices uncle Ben after he is already surrounded by civilians and police and catches his killer same night. With Andrew he is alone with his dying uncle Ben ,screaming for help while holding him , then spending nights grieving, fighting but never finding his killer, maybe for the better
Definitely still my favorite Spider-Man film and suit. TASM 1 is a movie I really love. I understand some of the issues with it but I’ve still watched it a lot and love Andrews grimer performance
3rd option. Have captain stacy tell peter what he did in the books. He told peter to protect gwen, not leave her alone
8:45 That’s what I liked about the ending. It showed us that Peter doesn’t know what he’s doing. He doesn’t know if he wants to prioritize Captain Stacy’s dying wish or be with Gwen which is what they both want
I love TASM 1 and 2. Andrew will always be my favorite Spider-Man
I remember my parents watching the second movie when i was a wee boy and just electro's face gave me nightmares
the emotional backing of curt conners is found in the deleted scenes of the amazing spider-man.
curt conners ended up being some weirdo that wants to turn a bunch of people into lizards in the final film.
if you look at the deleted scenes (which im sure theyre available for free on youtube somewhere), you can actually see his emotions and reasoning behind why he does what he does
When i watched TASM 2 for the first time just after the first TASM and i was able to understand maxs need to be seen due to him constantly being overlooked by everyone. I also think the Gwen and Max elevator scene helps alot with that.
Tasm is actually my favorite Spider-man movie ever! There is just something about it.
Anyone notice the tasm director is named webb and it's a Spiderman film
How id fix tasm 1
Is making the lizard trying to find help to not become this lizard
But when he becomes the lizard and be normal he gets rejected and embarrassed and humiliated etc. so he the does the only thing to make him normal. Make others like him
I laughed so hard when Spidey sat on the roof of the truck and bent his head between his legs to talk to Rhino. So comic-key. If that's a word.
I love both of the amazing Spider-Man movies
TASM is my favourite interpretation. Mainly cause I have abandonment issues.
I was 11 at the time this one came out I remember absolutely loving it and not really understanding why I related with this version so much until I got older and realized as a teenager this version is more relatable but as an adult Tobey's Spider-Man is more relatable
the fact you can hear the click that stops the recording at the end is just chefs kiss
I gotta say. The soundtrack in TASM 2 is so good. The music behind max kinda foreshadows his villain arc. And the music in the intro is goated asf.
You know how the principal tells him not to ride the skateboard in the halls, and he then continues to ride his skateboard? That is showing that he doesn’t listen to authority’s and will eventually not listen to what Gwen’s dad told him
I love how when Gwen is falling the tip of the web opens in the shape of a hand reaching out to catch her
Yeah 😢
It had me crying
I think they may have planned for the final wish to be honored and bring in MJ in the next movie, but the two actors had really good chemistry and were dating off screen after shooting the movie, so I think they may have just kept her in.
