Has this ever happened to you? What did you do? 🤔👇🏻
They can't steal from zero!
Sat there and fucking took it. The banks just bullshit a policy or some other dumb-fuck thing to "justify" robbing me.
"Well, your account has less than $1000 so there's a bullshit% gratuity, fucking fight me you poor"
Or
"Well you have over $1000 in that account and should be in a different kind of account so we punish you for not being an accountant with a bullshit detector"
I didn't do much but I was a bit angry when rioters stole from everyone but the banks
9/11
It is the same here in europe, banks, insurance-companys,........!
Bank is required to keep records for 5 years. The consumer account available online may be limited to X months but the bank has access to the info if they want to look.
I guarantee if the FBI asked for his records they would’ve gave him everything for the last five years like you said but when it comes to the bank paying you back well they put little rules in there To make them able to steal from you, I haven’t trusted banks since the 90s when I was a teenager cash only for me
I would think they would have it lifetime in case some criminal investigation needs to happen.
My bank(PNC) just told me that they can't keep track of how much is in my account. She literally said there are so many accounts, "we could never keep track of them all" lol as if it's not computerized. I said "I'm looking at the App and it is telling me exactly what I have, so how can the app know what your bank can't tell them? and she couldn't answer that. She was living in the 1800's.
That's not what he said. The bank will only reimburse you for 4 months was finally established
I work for the delivery service for Walmart. They've been hacked roughly 5 times this year alone. Last hack got me for almost 500$ and of course the bank keeps 'forgetting' to file my dispute cause they're too lazy to build a secure app.. and if the file doesnt complete within 6-10 days its ignored, so the 'support team' is designed to keep delaying the file for that time.. and it can take up to 90days for them to respond..
..Billion dollar company cant build a secure app and people who make 30k a year cant afford to lose 500$.. my Christmas is ruined and if i didnt have an understanding landlord i'd be homeless.. its kinda sad when a stolen 500$ ruins your life, at least these guys have millions to back them up.
what you gonna do about it ?
@@hansdampf640he cant do anything about it that the problem
Maybe strive for more in life than working at walmart for 30k/yr…..
@@theanti-guitarist Yeah i should just become the CEO of Walmart and then I'll be rich.. gee why didnt I think of that 1st? man ur so smart
Ever think that maybe that’s all by design ? They might even have hackers on the payroll to do it ?
I had the same happen, $1000 in my account and didnt use that account for over a year, next minute im getting a call saying i owe $600 overdrawn for bank fees... banks are thieves in suit's
It’s not capitalism unless one party is exploiting its more vulnerable counterpart. Sadly the incoming administration has conflated fraudulent business practice with patriotism and strong leadership…the malleable magas will only enable more of these shady business practices.
I tried to establish security on my 5/3 Bank account (Cincinnati, Ohio). I am not satisfied that it’s possible. So I’ll continue to move money out when I get a few thousand over what I need to pay bills.
I searched for problems with this bank and found they paid 20M in fines for crimes. My bank is a criminal organization.
Every 6 months I get a check from Wells Fargo with a "whoops we stole more money" letter. Usually its around $140 or so
Ahhh yes, the bank that got a TARP Bailout. Did you know that it's major shareholder is a "good" billionaire that lectures idiots on investing?
W.F. Bank was opening bank accounts for customers that customers DIDN'T know about somthat W.F. could fee the f out of customers. Their punishment was a slap on the wrist.
Joe Rogan just had a billionaire on his podcast, and he let the guy spend 3 hours railing against the government and arguing that banks need to be allowed to do more stuff like this.
EDIT - since people are stupid and can't use context to figure out who I'm talking about and immediately make everything about Trump. I'm talking about Marc Andreesen. He's a banking billionaire that got a taxpayer bailout. He was on JRE #2234 and spent the episode whining about the consumer financial protection bureau, which is the government agency responsible for investigating and shutting down these exact kinds of financial scams, in order to protect consumers.
Joe Rogan let a billionaire banker on his show to tell millions of people how the government needs to get out of the way of banks doing fraud. Truly a man of the people that cares about big banks getting out of hand! Thanks Toe!!
I'm not watching Rogan again, not that I really watched him before but occasionally he'd have an interesting guest
But the Trump interview did it for me
Right from the start you could tell by his body language and his shirt and tone of voice he was strictly there to kiss ass and let him say whatever the fuck he wanted to
What did he say in favor of banks behaving this way?
@@trangledangle he just had Marc Andreesen on, a billionaire who needed a taxpayer bailout. The guy spent the podcast railing against the consumer financial protection bureau and how it needs to be eliminated. The CFPB is the organization that cracks down on stuff like these fraudulent banking practices. Joe Rogan effectively let a billionaire tell millions of people that he needs to be allowed to do more financial scams and the government are the big meanies stopping him
@@stvinneydid you miss the part where rogan was asking him what proof he had about the last election? How do you feel about harris not doing many podcast, unless it was on her home turf?
@Originalchili Yeah he really grilled him
Imagine asking for proof?!!!
Then my memory goes fuzzy but Ill bet Joe didn't let up when Trump lied
He pointed out how Trump admitted it under oath
The recordings of him asking them to find him more votes
Rogan definitely didn't cuck himself
Back in the early 90's my business bank (large statewide bank) started charging $7 maintenance fee on all accounts. 4 of 5 of my kids withdrew their savings money and put it in a local bank.
The 1 argued his case at the bank and the bank stopped his fees until he turned 18. Prior to turning 18 he pulled out his money and deposited in a local bank.
come on! how is a hard working millionaire banker supposed to become a billionaire! have some heart for God sakes!
Won’t someone think of the billionaire bankers
Yep. It is the Lefts Fascism. They steal from you, and then blame you for letting them do it.
Bankers make great fertilizer. I’m talking in the ground 6 feet deep.
Any bankers wanna come over?
Yup. Corrupt Corporatism from Leftists.
Burr the happiest about CEO’s going down 😂
We’re all happy
"My identity! ...Windows caused this.." made me laugh pretty hard. And not totally unfounded.

I worked for a bank. Little old lady comes in to complain about a $12 fee causing her account to go overdrawn which also triggered a overdraft fee and we were instructed to say it was bank policy. Business owner that deposits 50k pw complains about the same fee and after meeting with the manager I'm instructed to wave the fee.
i don't know how you live with yourself / sleep at night 🤮
@@onsight2822 Hey, I was only carrying out my instructions. I didn't make or agree with the policy.
I would try thoroughly explain to clients how to avoid said fees, and sometimes even call and request things get reviewed/waived on their behalf because of similar situations.
Let’s just say that the system is not designed to Reward the Employees who go out of their way and take the extra time to really help these clients. …
I opened up a account and TVA said filled out a form where I couldn't get over drafted. A loan company auto ran a payment 10 times a day for 5 days when I was late once.
The bank charged me $500 for that, this was 10 years ago and they still send that bill out...I will never pay it
How much has the bank paid in stamps/letters by now? ( Should fire managers of accounts receivable)!
@williamlangford-d8b If they pay for every letter like we do I'd say alot, just off of paper and ink alone it's more than what I owe 🤣
I'd pay it but it's just the principle of the matter
My bank deposited my pay into someone else’s account. Then tried to hit me with overdraft charges. When I went to the bank to straighten it out, the douche tried to argue with me. “Close all my accounts, now.” Was my response. It was only when I threatened legal action if he didn’t drop the overdraft charges. He finally did. At that point I was so angry I didn’t care if I lost money doing it. So he reluctantly agreed. Must’ve been the manager doofus didn’t want the hassle. Anyway I moved over to a different bank.
You in the US? If so what bank if you don't mind sharing
I know this sucks to hear but you need to get your money up if you have to worry about over drafting your account Over one missed paycheck then your living check to check poor. Normal people who afford to live and even save a little money don’t worry about over drafts because they have plenty in the bank. I’m not rich but I ain’t living check to check anymore
@@SacrificiaLamb.8R it was a local savings and loan, Muskegon Federal Savings and Loan. If I remember correctly it’s been since merged but I can’t remember who with. I used it because It was very conveniently located for me at the time, which is now a long time ago.

Bill, you should follow up. My bank did it to me for three years and I had all the documentation - they had stolen almost $5000. I was making far more money than I was actually spending and it made no sense. I went to the bank and asked for a printout of three years of activity on my account and sure enough, I caught them. All my cash deposits were being deliberately held at night, checks would come in and they would go into overdraft. It was very clever of them, I will admit. Most people might not notice but, the amount of money lost was too significant to not notice.
I went to the bank and not only did I threaten them with a lawsuit. I was going to report them to the Federal banking commission. I want every cent returned to me like that day. Lo and behold, the returned all of my money and I immediately closed my account. It was TD bank by the way.
Credit union. I left banks long ago.
My credit Union will put holds on check deposits for like $2,000. I asked why they keep doing that and blah blah blah excuse policy etc blah.
I went and deposited a $60,000 insurance check at the branch. I asked how long before it posted and the guy said “it’s all good, it posted right now.” Huh???
He was the branch manager. “There’s nothing we can do” is always straight up bullshit.
This is simple. The insurance company is on their approved depositors list. It's a big enough company with enough history with the bank that they can be 100% certain it will clear, so they let it through immediately. Your grandmother isn't on that list because they only see a check from her every year or so when she sends you 5$ for Christmas.
@@observasaurusrex2099 I've deposited large checks from major banks which are held. It's apparently not simple.
if you’re that dumb i swear bro i don’t get how you live in society
I financed a car through my AmSouth checking account. It didn't matter if I paid with a check or cash they would hold it until after the due date and charge me late fees. I asked the teller about it and she acted like she didn't understand. I was going through a divorce, both of our names were on the account. I took my name off of the account. I stopped payment on the car and let it be repossessed. The bank was bought out and now is called Regions.
Holy crap, i thought my bank was bad with their $8 overdraft fees! America is a giant turd in the punch bowl.
Bill Bur is so rich
“America” isn’t the problem. It’s Banks and giant corporations.
I'm amazed you can still get an overdraft...
35$ is the standard in the U.S.
$8 is cheeeeep! My credit union is $30.

moral of the story, don't elect former CEOs or lobbied politicians to office.
Every corporation needs a Luigi to keep them in check
That’s why I have no issue giving my card to someone of need and telling them you got 2 hours!

Guys luck was so bad he became a mortician and people quit dying!😂😂😂
I've had them keep charging me overdraft fees. Each time I called, they never took the over draft protection off... several times
Commonwealth Bank in Australia just tried to charge people $3 for every time they wanted to withdrawn money!
I stopped buying groceries online because they would mess up the order then not refund me for over a week because apparently the bank wouldn't let the money go.
That's not quite true mate. The Bank wanted to charge people for using tellers instead of ATM's. Thru other fees we're all paying for tellers and Bank Branch rent that I never use. I do all my banking online, ATM or over the phone. Why am I helping to pay for retards that can't work out how an ATM works? You can still use those for free. It's a media beatup.
Highly concerning. Its also wild to me how many people think it isn't directly correlated to the US Gov. They forget that the US Government OWNS the banks as of 2008.

@@theduckfromthejoke152 I'm a Financial Analyst who has spent their free time over the last 10 years studying The Federal Reserve (worlds most powerful private central bank) and its creation in 1913 by the most socialistic US President Woodrow Wilson who also created the IRS. Both of which are actually part of the "10 Planks of Marxism" (look it up), along with the creation of "industrialized armies".
The Federal Reserve is the WORLDS largest and single most powerful organization. Period. Yes The US Government is very powerful, with nuclear weapons, but Central Banks are FAR more powerful. But their power comes through the use of debt and their "petro-dollar" system. Aka a system that correlates globalized energy markets with the US Dollar.
So YES Australia is a territory of the United States. The same as Canada, UK and most of Western Europe. Did you notice that every war that the US has picked over the last 100 years, Australia was forced to "volunteer" their army too?
Now the thing is in 2008 the US Government asked The Federal Reserve to print +$10 Trillion, give it to the US Government, which then took that money and bought Stock in MANY of the S&P 500 and mostly in the Automotive and Banking portions of the US.
I wish for the +250 million who Americans that were very much hurt by this, that the government had handled the housing market very differently than they did, but no instead they gave bonuses to the bankers that brought our system to the brink. This is why Wall Street and DC are super corrupt and scratch each others back. This is also why The Federal Reserves most important office is in NYC right next to Wall Street.
Any questions? Read "The Creature from Jekyll Island" it's a book about the corruption that led to the creation of The Federal Reserve.
Also when this banking system was created it ended America's greatest time of innovation from 1880-1913 when we created MOST of the things that you have and use to day. (Cars, Grid Electricity, Airplanes, Light bulbs, Radio, Telephones.....). When they corrupted our money by stealing from the poor and middle class by creating The Fed, it also ended this time of great innovation. It has gotten much worse for the last 110 years until AI was brought into the world. Hopefully we cut the corruption and use AI to help bring in tons more innovation.
@@theduckfromthejoke152 Yeah the Federal Reserve isnt owned by any gov, if anything its the other way around..
I guess people see 'Federal' and just assume..?
In reality its just a random entity that prints tiny pieces of paper that we all agree has some kinda 'value'.. and we owe them interest on everyone of those pieces of paper.. and the value of that paper can change over night.. Works out great for them, not so much everyone else.
you can have your credit card setup for automatic payments and pay it off every month. that works great for those who don't need to run a balance. just use it like a debit card but better . no interest charges , no one can hack your account like with a debit card etc.
Bill is Brilliant !!!! 🤩😎🥰
My old bank, even tho I had denied overdraft fee protection and was told that if I did they might not cover transactions when I need it (there is never a situation that I need them to cover any cost because they only cover the most trivial amounts to charge you the most), they still let things go through and changed the order in which they cashed out the purchases to get them more overdraft fees. Amazon used to run every single card that has ever been used on your account if the one you set up for payment doesn't have the funds to cover the purchase. So family members of mine that had used my account a few times had their cards run for transactions of mine.
So you were buying stuff you didn't have money for?
If you owe them money, they send the police, if they owe you money, you need to hire your own lawyer cause there are no cops for them.

Chase is one of the few banks still charging a fee for having a checking account.
You literally need a class action law suit against these corporations but don’t think they haven’t weighed that risk when they initiated these heist against their customers. Sometimes they already know that the class action lawsuit will cost less than the amount they are stealing from their customers
Chase is so corrupt, I figured that out in the 90s.
If you hate the banks so much quit playing venues with no cash bars.
Quit making money, because the bank is robbing you. Doofus
Keep in mind: one of the things in the crosshairs of "cutting" is the CFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau) that's returned $17.5B to consumers and the US treasury from corporate and bank theft. It's funded from fines they impose for these thefts. Weird.... something that doesn't cost us money to run that works for the average person is strangely on the chopping block.
I would love to hear 10000 people were suing the Banks all at once.
Then they'd change their tune.
Bank of America does that🔥🔥💩💩

My iMac bought in 2010 is still humming along. Never had a problem. I can’t upgrade since years ago but I don’t care it works. Funny thing is, I bought total protection for three years when got it. Three years later I tried to renew and found there is no protection plan beyond three years. They want you to buy a new system. They could have collected from me every three years since 2010, for a hardware protection plan, but no they don’t offer it.
Bill Burr is the bomb, he actually has a brain, unlike Rogan who believes whatever he read or was told that week is gospel, until next week when he is told something different and his views change 180°
He's just always in total awe and agreement with whatever his guest is telling him. The word debate has never came up.
Rogan is a conversationalist. Often times just keeping the guest talking. That’s a big reason why he’s successful.
Its true that Rogan is easily fooled and often repeats nonsense he heard or saw from one of his buddies

My bank has literally told me they have 4 different balances for my account and all roads lead to overdrafts!

I booked a flight on Qatar airlines last month from Boston to Doha , I brought up the seat map and there was a single seat against the window with no ( physical ) seat next to it , just one lone seat , so I payed the extra $180 for that seat, when I got on the plane that wasn’t the case at all, of course there was a seat next to me with with someone sitting in it, I asked the stewardess about it and she said “ oh , it must have been a glitch in the system , that’s happened before “

I've never trusted banks and haven't had an account with anyone since I was a teenager. I didn't understand why my elders always spoke of utilizing their mattresses as their banks until my entire payroll check disappeared due to random hidden charges I wasn't aware of until after I deposited it and the bank basically told me to go screw myself. I was 19 and haven't had an account with anyone since. That was back in the 90's, lord only knows what they're doing to people now 🙄😮💨. The ONLY thing that pisses me off about the way things are set up today is that everyone assumes you DO have some sort of debit card or credit card to hand over and utilizing one of those sh*tty prepaid cards isn't acceptable. 🤷♂️So certain things are not easily obtainable without assistance from someone who does have a credit card, but whatever I rarely need those things anyway and always figure out a way around the issue somehow 🤷♂️👍.
