What kind of music gear do you have?
" musictrack gear " is now ready to open !!
gear.musictrack...
his playing was so great i forgot this was a review
finally a review where the person actually plays and we can hear how the weighted keys -> piano dynamics work. FIINALLY. THANK. YOU
Love all you're Reviews!
You have Yamaha HS8's right? I find it wired that it looks like there's running black paint down in the mittle of the dome in your monitors. I don't have that and i have HS8's too.
He can probably make a Casio keyboard with Light-up keys sound good with those chops!
Unbelievably talented. Beautiful open voicings.
You do SUCH excellent reviews and demos! Really, the best there is. Don't ever stop.....
This man has more chops than a butcher shop. Excellent demo Mr. Ujiie!
IKR...!!!!:-)
Congratulations.. you made me laugh AND hungry all at the same time. lol
Sir Tubalot
Hahaha, this man is great!
he got the chopping board done medium rare
And I thought your Microkorg demo was amazing..This was FANTASTIC!
Your reviews are fun, insightful: just the best!
Excellent demo, as usual. Be aware that only (for now) the first 3000 orders will receive piano teq and UVI piano. Hurry up, they sound amazing!

You're so good to explain this!!!
I've already bought it....

Excellent playing and keyboard. I couldn’t help looking at his watch, though
Thank-you sir.
An enjoyable overview and you play beautifully.
skills! i'm convinced this is the one for me...
Its beautiful reviews ❤❤❤❤❤
Thumb up for the excellent keyboards skills.
Really good and some very tasty playing too!
Wow ! The Keyboard, the Playing.... Nice !!!
この動画を見て購入に踏み切りました。ありがとうございます。
I love listening this Man even if i dont get anything about what he says xD music is an universal language :)
If I had to buy some keymaster, without doubt I would buy this Arturia. It sounds really good. In my opinion the sound is as good as other keylabs which costs 2000-3000 €.
Katsunori Ujiie is top so.
Great!!!! Thanks for the review! Good job!
Merci Katsunori San
well to be honest, I totally forgot I was here for the keyboard arturia lol! i think this guy can make any midi keyboard sound godlike!
Que bello sonido, me encanta
買ってから随分経ってますが、未だに自分で修理しながら使ってます。
時々他のMIDIキー触りに楽器屋行きますが、やっぱりこれに落ち着く感じです。
新モデルはまだ触れてないので気になってますが👀
Nice looking keyboard this, like the fact it has room to put a laptop on it. Is it worth £500 I wonder? It looks well built......I like the design
....the plugins look good as well. PIanoteq Rhodes R2 is one of the best I've heard. I love all that stuff Katz is playing with the Wurli patches...........bit of Billy Preston.
The only thing is lots of having to go back to the laptop in this demo rather than doing it from the keyboard.
Very nice player with a strange watch.! Ha! le Japon!
Im about to buy one of this.
Me too!
Everything on this Keyboard is genius
well you mean everything touched by this guys becomes genius lol
the pads are not good, but keys are amazing
Your fantastic in your demos keep up the good work. I’m a pianist and I’d like to have a nice keyboard controller 88 and feel good. I noticed a lot of parameters you wanted to change you used your iMac instead of using the slider pots on thekey lab 88
Thanks for this !
You sound very exited about this instrument and your performance is brilliant! Do the keys really feel that good as Arturia advertises, proper hammer action? I always have this problem with USB pianos, when you hit the keys and they are responding too quickly, I make mistakes. Maybe that is the £400 difference between this one and my Alesis Q88 ;o)
His playing makes want to buy it, hehe. Well, i heard tp100 is nothing to right home about but i need to try it first.
The keybed is a disaster from a pianist perspective
@@lazar4951 I will try it soon and native instrument s88 mk2 88 as well (has the same keybed) but your words are not cheering me. I wish they sold sl88 grand in my country. That seems to be the only midi controller with a good keybed (tp40 wood)... any tp40 keybed is good though (used in nord stage and nord piano and kurzweil flagship keyboards, etc.). The problem is, they always use a shitty keybed in midi controllers. sl88 grand is the exception.
@@amirprog I've tried both of them, though NI was mk 1 version. They feel very plastic and unplayable to me, but I guess they had to make a compromise because it's not meant for a typical pianist, more like for a studio user. The sl grand was definitely better, but not for the price they are asking for. It comes without any software for like 1000 euros and it's very heavy. I heard that roland a88 is really good, but it's very difficult to find and also comes without software for like 800 euros. I guess I'll just go with Casio privia and use it like a midi controller, it really has nice feel for a piano player that I'm looking for.
@@lazar4951 I think studio user can be a person that does play more then just cords and would also want a more piano like feel. So that argument is not valid. They just get cheap on keybed in hope a lot pf people won't mind and people who want quality keybed will but a digital piano/synth. This approach is stupid. At least they could offer what SL does, one studio keybed, other grand keybed. I think a keybed is worth it for sl88 grand.
Roland a88 has ivory feel g keybed which is better then yamaha ghs keybed but is slow to response, it does not feel quite right but maybe its just a little better than tp100.
Casio? You will make me angry now. I had top line model from casio, the px-5s, and sold it 2 years ago. Yes, its has that piano lik weight (not necessarily a good thing when you want to slide like when playing hammond) but its triple sensor is a gimmick and its responsivness is awful.
I find that the ONLY worthy keybeds are fatar tp40 (nord stage, nord piano, kronos, forte), kuawi rhs3 (mp7se, mp11se, es8), and yamaha top tier keybeds (for example, xf8, montage 8, etc.). So what is left if you want a worthy keybed and not break the bank?
1. mp7se or es8
2. sl88 grand
3. A used old flagship model, say, xs8, xf8, fantom g8, etc.
Also, if you only care about piano and a few other sounds then check out casio new px-s3000 digital piano as they say it has improved keybed - i need to check it as well so i have no idea if its better than previous casios yet.
He knows so much great music,he won’t play exactly like album versions, but I think that’s copyright issues.
Quite a player. Wow.
最高に気持ちいい。欲しい。
Im grabbing the Keylab88 Mk2. Just released a few weeks ago, you should do a review on that as well.
Like this demo the best ...play before talk lol
氏家さんのキーボード語り大好きですこれ買いますw
YO THIS DUE IS FUNKY AF
muy bueno
👏👏👏
Thanks for another EXCELLENT review Ujiie!! = ] Just wondering though...How does the keybed on this controller compare to the Zarenbourg you reviewed a couple years ago? Seems like you were more nimble on your runs with the Zarenbourg...No??
Hi man, is there any chance you could compare them with NI Komplete Kontrol S88? I would really need that comparison before I buy. As I have to order it online.
+Ayu Ser thx for answer mate. For me it will probably be S88 in the end. Because of the plugins. Probably everything except real piano will be better in NI.
De Ee
the arturia keys are a little heavier than the NI. if you are PIANO trained player you'll prefer arturia!
Thanks I’ve been deciding between the two and I think I might go for the key lab88, because I’m a Pianist and I would like to have that great feel. If I want to get the NKS sounds I’ll just buy Kontact 5 or the Komplete select
For me it’s all about how it makes you feel as a pianist.
I wish he had used the buttons, knobs and faders a little more to control the software.
Is the sound coming from the speaker? I see no speaker !
The sound comes from the laptop, which in turn is linked to an amplifier that's off-camera in this video.
I wish he would have showed the pads.
hey am wondering if by chance do you have a midi file or music sheet of the intro of this video. thanks
Some of those E. Piano riffs make me feel so Charlie Brown.
Very intrigued with this but I don't think that is real wood on the end cap construction. Also, did anyone notice that when he was playing softly around 20:30 that there was quite a bit' of keybed noise? Not deal breakers but thoughts are appreciated.
Sir Tubalot According to other reviews and its spec, it really is a real wood. And that keybed noise looks like it's simulated by the UVI virtual instrument to give authentic piano feel to the user.
Lionell Park
Indeed, it appears the Keylab 88 has real wood for the end caps. Was a thrown off a bit' because that is not the case on the Keylab 49. I did have a chance to look at a Keylab 88 up close and it is not noisy at all... just a slight thud and about on par with other Fatar keybeds that I have played on. (Action is slightly heavy but that is ok with me) I am definitely going to be getting my hands on one of these. The only other concern I have going into it is some of the difficulty I've read about concerning licensing the Analog Lab software that comes with it but will cross that bridge if and when I get to it. I appears Arturia is fairly responsive when dealing with those issues.
Just wondering why Casio can put 256 note polyphony on fairly inexpensive keyboards and most others don’t even on expensive keyboards?
What the ballada title? 16:17
I have to admit that this Fatar 100 action is pretty noisy. It wouldn`t matter with the speakers set at an adequate level, but if you wanted to play something in low volume it maybe somewhat of a a nuisance
Is the feel close to an acoustic piano? Its the only issue I am concerned for, your advice please
I challenge mr. Ujiie to make sound bad any keyboard
Excellent.
Can you layer sounds in the software.
Can I use this midi controller with ipad's softwares (ios)?
How much for this keyboard, pads, etc?
Does this keyboard have a numeric keypad where you can call up random patches by number?
What is the artist and song in 16:30?
Can you use it with iMac? El Capitan in Garage Band, usb(2.0) cable. Does it have "Mandolin" voice to play "The Godfather"(Love Theme)?" Information, please? I have a keyboard with the usb at the right side of the regular keyboard.
Ujie, Hello!
What software are you using? It sounds amazing!
特に8分らへん~10分半のピアノとか、11分前後とか、高い音が左から、低い音が右から聞こえる気がするのですが…、そういうものなんでしょうか…
15:58 ~ のballade piano素晴らしい(^-^)
does it sound from the macbook? or did you record it?
17:24 reminds me of the Blade Runner patch...
I sold my RD 700nx for this set up( Art. 88 ) midi is a dream come true.. Steinway D lol what more can you ask for??? Only 799.00 guitar centers!!!!!
How are the keys on this Keylab 88 did you like it better than the 700nx
Oh Yessssss!!!! Not only the keys but the key action!!!! However, this is only a big deal for true piano players. Kmsl...... The problem with digital pianos are the Polyphony !!!!! Polyphony matters when layering sounds and use of damper. For ever sound that is layered, it nearly cut the polyphony in 1\2. Average keyboard uses 128 of polyphony but if you layer 4 sounds, most of them will become distorted:-( ... Well, that was a second problem!! But key action is everything to a true piano player... Btw few digital pianos are using over 128 of/ polyphony such as the Mp6 kawai -Casio P5 ....But for me Keylab 88 Steinway Concert D....software ....
J.J.A Florida I see I have a Roland RD64 I love it very much and the ivory keys are nice I'm gonna take our word for it and trust these keys ferl better than the ivory ...... At namm I will see this keyboard can't wait thanks for the reply
Alex Figueroa Awesome:-)...Let is know how it work out....Roland and Nord are two power houses, but Nord's are grrrrreat on sound. Ttyl
Alex Figueroa hello friend, did you get a chance to stop by Naam and check out some Keys???
can this be plug in straight to the amplifier without connecting to the laptop? im not a keyboard player and i want to buy one for my daughter as a suprise bday gift.
ccs171274 No, It's a midi controller. It needs a computer to make sound.
pianotec 5 comes with the arturia software? im playing the uvi piano and it doesn't sound like in the video. help please
+Agustin Gonzalez its sounds really nice in the video.
+Agustin Gonzalez i have de keylab 61
ehrm why couldn't I get a piano on the 61 key version??
piano sound
Bc
Jbizzle 1998 Bc??
colbalt95 lol just look up true pianos on google, that should work for you
Jbizzle 1998 okkk ill check it out thankyou
How is the preset/vst at 20:09 ?
PLAY IT AGAIN SAM
hi.which software are you using?
does this support polyphonic aftertouch?
+Juliet Klaar Yes
I think it's monophonic aftertouch (any key sends global pressure). Still an awesome controller though and an inspiring demo!
Excellent Mr. Jackie Chan.... xD

Meh. I have a KEYLAB essentials [61] and, under that, a ROLAND FP-30 piano. Does just fine for me. 61 keys is more than enough for me to create songs but I also enjoy the weighted/hammer keys of the piano too. Piano is great for playing when creating bass notes and the [61] key fore more intricate notes =) Besides.. I use PC mostly and I think that the big blank area, at the top right, would really put me off.
コレが!やばい、モチーフから乗り換えます。
Jackie Chan ????
Huh?,yes he’s Asian too,stupid comment
