Exactly how midi controllers with bonus built in sounds should be reviewed. That guy doing demos for Korg had a third of his focus on the pads and trackpad.
Thanx for this Review, it is enterntaining to hear the reviewer say things like "Ah, I used the Trintin Electric piano sounds SO much". The review shows a lot of what you can do, and focuses on what is good. I have read some reviews that mention that there is no sign on the backside saying "korg" and that the 3,5 mm sound output is a bit cheep, but this review gave me the most. I have already bought this keyboard, and this review reasured me that it was a good buy. We can also see how we could use the gates with different sounds, for a newbee like me, it is a good Eye opener.
awesome :) at last some one with a full review, i have not even watched this yet but i know how indepth your videos are, i am buying one of these in about a month, but have been dieing to hear what the triton sounds are like, your video of the keylab almost convinced me to buy that... well until i saw that korg were going to release this beast, i love you like a bro keep up the amazing videos ok time for me to watch the vid :)
Cool demo as usual! I'd like to see it subbed, 'cause it's a useful midi/all rounder station... 1st impression: maybe the best controller money can buy, with an extra Triton power!
I got one of these to control my DreadBox Erebus. The only question was whether to spend the extra hundred on the Triton sounds. After watching this video, I decided to spend the extra money. No regrets. The portability and ability to just power this guy up and plug in some headphones is a big plus for me. As a DAW controller, I've only scratched the surface. I use Bitwig. I like Korg stuff. I also have a Kronos 88 and Minilogue. Never had a Triton, and now I sorta do.
musictrackjp So I read everywhere that Aftertouch is not supported. Does this mean it won't work with evolving sounds from Omnisphere or other VST? Or it only concers the built-in sounds? Thanks for your help!
Has this guy put out any of his own music anywhere? Would think he has as good as he is. Just never ran across him until I started watching his demo/review vids.
I wish Korg uses some of its technology such as this, Kross or I3, Micro arranger, micro key and controller, gadget apps/Electribe to create a portable instrument similar to Yamaha PSS A50 and Teenage Engineering’s OP1, with small speaker and playable 3 octaves mini keys. Instead of sequencer, give us multitrack looper and excellent drum track, arpeggio etc.
I've always been a big fan of Korg Keyboards whether they have been stage pianos or synthesisers :-) this new ones going to be big and I just noticed it tonight (22.05.14) and already I want one, pity it doesn't have a vocoder in it like the Micro Korg XL vocoder has though, great sounding demo but pity theres no Engwish subtitles :-)
I have this and it’s decent, just wish the fx were more flexible/editable. Also, the max volume on headphones is pretty low. Finally, some of the sounds are a bit samey in places for example the strings often sound just a bit different but not a great deal.
At 16:30, while you are demoing the incredible ARP features, it appears that you are controlling a soft synth? Which one is it? The sounds you a pulling up are amazing!!! Great tone.
I used this keyboard with reason and the slider and knob controls did not sync up super well but I got some crazy sounds using what did work. Lost it to a house fire though
Hello! I love the way how you play the keyboards. I have one question and this is towards the end of the video with the time of 20:13 you add a saxophone sound with the track. Is that sound from the Triton keyboard or from one of the software sounds from the card you showed. Thanks friend!
I likt Kat's videos.........as he just mucks about and see what comes out..like most of us do when playing with keyboards.... As for this keyboard..........I like it's angular look...........is there a place for a controller with Triton sounds or M1 pianos today? It's a curious keyboard.
Does anyone know how well this plays with Ableton and also FL Studio? I was originally just looking for a midi controller but since I don't naturally play piano I wanted something I could us a controller and learn the ropes of the keyboard, also in his demo the triton sounds are really making me want to invest, but I need to know how well it plays with DAWs such as Ableton and FL those being what I will mainly be using.
Is there the possibility to use the in-built sounds in your DAW? Actually I'm using FL Studio 12 but it hardly works together. Everything has to be assigned manually to work fine. For example I can't just plug in the Taktile and Play the Piano and while playing change the Sound via the TouchPad... If it's not possible do you know any DAW where you can play it just right off?
you are so awesome could you teach me how to do some of that.i just orded mine today .my birthday is tomorrow.put up some more videos please thanks and god bless.
Very interesting recording video however I have a question if you can help me (in english or in Fench) I have this same Titron Taktile master keyboard synth. but i lost my "Arpegiator" feature/function How can cancel and re start this mode by default I can just playing some sound but there's not now (i lost like not activate the red flash light on this touch "arp" ) no more Arp starting with mix... sound :-c and whe don't see how restart this with the manual or here in the video Have some ideas about this ... thanks for the help ..
So if I understand this correctly, you can play this midi-keyboard with just the keyboard and some power, you do not actually need to plug it into a computer of any kind?
You dont even need subtitles to understand this guy! Perfect!

"It's a parade of nostalgic sounds!"
A perfect description!
this is the best demo of this controller I've seen! Korg should be paying him :)
This is the best demo I've seen ever!
You've got some serious skills on the keys!! Great job demoing this out for us. This piece of gear is incredible. Just amazing!!
I love this guy!
It's a parade of nostalgic sounds!
Nothing to shake a stick at!

I was thinking, "UJIIE-san is having fun!" and he said it! And his demos are fun too!
ありがとうございました!
The built-in Triton sounds are so good for a Midi Controller.
SUBSCRIBED!!! :) This is by far the best demo I've been able to find for the TRITON Taktile. Thanks so much for sharing!
I never understand what you say, yet I understand you. Always great synth demos!
That is one AWESOME demo - I wish everyone did that. Great job.
This guy is great! Even with the language barrier he demonstrates it so well :)
I like the review depth, the reviewer's enthusiam and the way he plays.
Exactly how midi controllers with bonus built in sounds should be reviewed. That guy doing demos for Korg had a third of his focus on the pads and trackpad.

Great video, more detailed than most. I already wanted one, now I want it more!
he plays those chords so effortlessly

Been waiting for this review. Hope there's a translation soon, because I think I might want this.

Amazing midi controller that including 512 Triton Sounds inside the Rom.
Cool demo as usual! I'd like to see it subbed, 'cause it's a useful midi/all rounder station...

You play so good!

Initially had a budget for a yamaha MX61, but this keyboard is loads cheaper, less keys but loads of fun. Reminds me of my microkorg..

Only Japanaese subtitles are available.. :-(
English captios are there, they're just listed as "japanease" for some reason.

Would you recommend this model? I'm planning to buy this one but I'm not sure if it'd still be worth it
Still like the synth sounds! But for the other sounds I would at least need a timemachine to get a little excited....
I can finally get rid of my old Trinity which has a busted screen and faulty connections! :-)
At 16:30, while you are demoing the incredible ARP features, it appears that you are controlling a soft synth? Which one is it? The sounds you a pulling up are amazing!!! Great tone.
Ta chido tu tecla

tHANK YOU.
I like this more than I can on UA-cam

can you add your own sounds to it?
you are so awesome could you teach me how to do some of that.i just orded mine today .my birthday is tomorrow.put up some more videos please thanks and god bless.
Does it come with a magnifying glass for the 'display'?
As always, an excellent demo from UJIIE-san!
+YouzTube99 Yes. The glass right in front of that display does have some magnification :)

Using in FL Studio caused problem with transport and mapping, not officially supported, in Ableton all works fine.
hey there, cool video. Can i connect a regular sustain pedal with the standalone mode like for piano?
Muuuuito bom...........
the rhodes and clavinet are missing key up (release) samples....

So if I understand this correctly, you can play this midi-keyboard with just the keyboard and some power, you do not actually need to plug it into a computer of any kind?
Yes
Please tell me there is a way to make the distortion guitar sound more real.
Does it have dedicated speakers on it or it must connect to speakers?
Hello, does this keyboard have a on board transpose up and down function for the playable keys??
What so important with this midi controller...there are lots of them and even cheaper..is it just because is KORG ?
anyone know if I can loop drums just with this keyboard?
So if you wanted sound 512, you’d have to press the XY pad 511 times to get there?
質問です。パソコンに接続せず、単体で鳴らせるでしょうか。すみません。😅
MIDI out only! damn it
+Sin sin sinner it has both, but it doesen´t matter, it´s only monotimbral...
+MegaCrasherMusic i dont have it any longer, but i am pretty shure it did
Is possible to connect this keyboard to a Synth via MIDI having no outlet for the power supply?
What are are you using for the Bass Sound ???
Do you have any piano/key tutorial?
"All 512 sounds" from the Triton Korg says. Uh... My Triton Extreme has over 1100.
Is it okay to learn piano with midi keyboard?

Is it okay to piano with midi Keyboard?
Hello, korg triton taktile 49 has sound accordion?
Anyone have a preset for Groove agent se4? The cubase scene loads the wrong midi notes on the pads.
