sorry couldn't hear what the problem and solution was or if it worked. you may want to come back and add a comment to explain this video further. thanks for the attempt though.
Mine started that. I just did a fluid swap and it completely cured the problem 2 years ago. I'll change the filter and fluid this year. I vacumed out a gallon of old fluid and replaced it with OEM fluid.
I have this transmission in my 2003 Dakota. It has always shifted a little hard, especially 2nd. However, it loves to slip in and out of 2nd under heavy acceleration, downshift or upshifting into 2nd. It has gotten much worse lately. I changed the transmission fluid in February as well as the governor pressure sensor. Now that sensor is throwing 2 check engine lights for high pressure.
@@tommyharber413 I just got that issue, If I pull off to the side of the road then park and turn it off wait a minute then it's fine when I start back up. Was the solenoid your problem ?
Hey man great video, I have a 2000 WJ 4.7 and it started shifting hard from 1-2 and the kickdown from 4 to 2nd is really hard, do you have any idea on were to start? Cheers man! Oil and filer were swapped 5k ago.
Nah he won't reply because he does not know what he fitted , he is not a mechanic , he sounds like a know all , he got told what to do or went by a workshop manual nearby . These clangers are just wanting clicks to get money to pay for the solinoid so they don't lose out ,

Why don't you show the gauges when you do the test drive so we can see what is happening with speed to RPM?
Do you know what fault code showed up for this and which solenoid it was?
The pressure sensor is towards the rear passenger side if that helps ppl
It seems like mine may be having a trans issue. Mine won’t accelerate when i push down on the gas pedal.
Mine has the same issue I’m trying to figure out what

If you have the 4.7 you do not have the 42RE you have the 45RFE, which does not have a kickdown cable. All 4.7 WJ’s got paired with a 45RFE
What was the transmission doing before you did the work?
What did you swap out at first?
Is your jeep V8 or inline 6
What is it u replaced
Yeah, my question too. Why so stingy on the details??
Wrong side of the road!
