Chris, I wouldn't worry too much, at this time. Since 18 came out, how many bikes Honda has out there? We would hear a lot more, by now. We see 6 gen Wings with over 100K already and zero problems. Thanks for this.
Yes- with 110K on my 2019 DCT I don’t know if I should worry that the USB might fail with wear, or if it has proven itself to be indestructible enough to go to 200K
Thank you Cruise. Alway appreciate you getting some words out there. I saw Doc’s video a week ago as well. For the moment we don’t have clear specific details yet. As you mentioned and I agree as I have read within the FB sites and Forums regarding other high mileage riders with the 6th generation with no spoken issues. One cat, Phil Steiner well known for his ability to rack up some pretty high mileages on his prior generation Wings with video of those odometers, now owns a 2023 DCT Tour which just turned 100k+ miles. A YT video of his odometer and that achievement is out there as well. No mention of issues. Sounded like all blissful miles. He also includes a list of services done. Going forward. Fingers crossed.
The problem of a seizing engine seems like a pretty significant safety hazard. I wonder if this problem is initiated by poor shifting or other abuse from the operator. I've seen people who can destroy just about anything.

This happened to my 2023 GW, on April 15th. It is in the dealership getting repaired. I brought the bike in to have my fuel pump checked. They checked it and on the way home I heard something funny like a ticking sound. I turned my headset off and there was a loud ticking sound coming from the engine. I turned right around and took it back to the dealership. I didn't turn it off, maybe it would have locked up. It's been at the dealership waiting for parts since then. I call evey Thursday to see how it's coming along. I have 1050 miles on my bike. Never put anything on it to void the warranty. I put a case guard on it but it was a wingstuff. Hope my summer is not shot.
Got it fixed..it was in the shop till July 20th,2024. Runs fine now, honda paid the bill. I tried to get them ( honda motorsports) to pay for my downtime. They were supposed to pay for a rental and in my state they have a lemon law that was totally violated. Look I like motorcycle, I even named her Precious. I want few hassells and as long as you treat me right, I understand that life is not perfect. So I have updated 11 things on my motorcycle. It is so much fun...ride often and please be safe.

Phil Steiner bought a new manual Wing a year ago. He has over 100k on it now with zero issues. Buy the Honda warranty. It's only about $600 for qn additional 5 years.

I think that's a great idea. The more electronic the more the chance of failure. I decided to go with the Kawasaki Vulcan voyager in 2023 and I absolutely love it.
The Goldwing finally becomes a cool sport touring performance bike, and then turns into a diaster for Honda with the worst catastrophic engine problem of all time. Kawasaki had a similar problem with their beautiful masterpiece, the ZX-12R Ninja, which had to be immediately discontinued, because there was no way to properly fix the oil pump problems. That's why Kawasaki made the bizzare ZX-14R.

2019 GW Touring 6-speed manual with 45k miles. Just saw your video on the fuel pump, and now this. Gawd I hope I don't lock up with a catastrophic engine failure. 90% of my driving is at 75-80 mph on Texas Interstate.
Ive yet to encounter this problem at our dealership 100s if not 1000s of wings have passed through here since the 2018 model dropped. Occasions like this get overblown and rile people up for no reason. Just like this fuel pump recall, we've never replaced a fuel pump in any 2018 and up Goldwing for pump failure, weve had 1 with a failed gauge that was caused by sitting in a crate for 2 years. Quit calling your dealer about the recall if you have a 2018-2019 model, we aren't going to see parts until July, even then its controlled so we cant just order however many we want. For 2020 and newer owners have your dealer inspect the number on the fuel pump, it may not need replaced anyway
Good info and heads up. I was just today considering a 5k miles 2018 manual, but now I will not invest 20k into a possible hand grenade that results in owning a $20k piece of garage art. Unless of course Honda comes out with a 50,000 mile no questions asked warranty...
Hello Chris, I have experienced this recently. Manual 2019, 39 000km. The same issue. Unfortunately, the bike was out of warranty. I had to pay everything. It happend at low speed and the rear wheel locked up. I replaced the old one with a new DCT and hope it never happens to me again... Martin
Recently you talked about a ticking noise on right side valve cover area. I just purchased 2023 DCT Tour 1 month ago(June 2024) and at 450 mile I started Hearing a ticking slight when cold then gets louder as it warms, then get softer. I heard you mention about parking on center stand and maybe oil settling on left side. This did not help with mine, I went to dealer where I purchased it, he said call Honda and see what they think, I did Honda was rude and told me they have never heard of this issue so there is nothing they can do. Can you ask you subscribers again about this noise and if anyone has fixed this noise. Sound like a leaking spark plug wire but it runs great. My dealer in Lansing,MI has no idea. thank you for your time, and please let me Know anything you may hear.
One thing Mental Health treatments focus on with CBT is the thought process of Catastrophising, it becomes more common as we age and social media is implicated in it. So if there is a few bikes that this has happened to then you may well be correct but some of the responses I read here are definitely going down this bumpy road, so thanks for highlighting that there has been some failures but do bear in mind that no it hasn’t been happening to a large percentage of bikes or even moderate to small, so if your machine is correctly maintained and used then it’s highly unlikely to let you down, so go ride it and enjoy it
I was going to buy a wing , now I am not , Im sticking with my Indian Chieftain , best bike I ever had , and I have 4 different motor cycles including a ALL Original Honda CB 750 k , 10 th Anniversary model , the newer 6 generation wings are JUNK , THe Best year 2010 last year that was made in the USA , Honda is now losing its Relilability .
I've got a buddy at a major dealership in California that's never had to replace a fuel pump on a Goldwing 6th Gen and never seen one with the bolt shattering issue. And he says they have sold over a hundred Goldwings and serviced even more. I'm picking up a new 2023 Goldwing this weekend after owning a 2022 and putting 8k on it. I am not worried at all by this. It's been 6 years and for it to surface now it can't be that frequent as no one i know has had it and I know a fair few wing owners.. I totally trusted my 2022 and I don't expect the new one to be any different. Now if they could just upgrade the eletronics. I am getting rid of my Indian Chieftain Darkhorse and it's electronics are light years ahead of the Goldwings.
I saw an accident a couple years ago where a gentlemen on a 2018 or 2019 model Goldwing was thrown from the motorcycle. This took place near Lake Whitney but at the time we thought it had maybe been the rear end that caused the motorcycle to lock up. I'm not sure what type of transmission this motorcycle had, but the guy said that the motorcycle just stopped rolling and shut off. I hope this isn't something that's been going on for a while and Honda has just decided not to acknowledge that this as a real problem.
My Transmission locked up in 2019 and they had it for about 5 months and I have the 2018 DCT transmission it locked up while I was riding to the store I was only 1/2 mile from my house and had it towed in it would not start it just died for not apparent reason I only had maybe 8,000 miles or so!!
@@skychaser59 they replaced the whole transmission and engine it works great now but it should the had it for quite awhile 5 months getting parts they said(MALCOLM SMITH MOTOSPORTS )shipped from Honda my motorcycle was repaired by Malcolm Smith Motorsports in Riverside the place where I purchased it in 2018
I was seriously thinking about trading my 2022 Road Glide in on a manual 2024 Wing, guess Im in no hurry now until they sort this mess out. This bolt breaking/engine locking up issue could easily kill someone!
My coworker put on his oil filter on his new motorcycle and forgot to remove the OEM factory filter rubber O-ring that was somehow stuck on the engine block. The new oil filter leaked and got the oil onto his back tire as he was driving. I have no idea how he didn't crash. He was a very nervous slow driver, otherwise it would have been catastrophic.
Beginning to regret selling my 05 for the 19 now. I had planned a cross country tour this year, but thinking I'll take the Super Tenere' instead of the Wing. Honda, both cars and bikes, have declined in their reliability as of late. I have a 20 Ridgeline that has 3 open recalls, most serious being the fuel pump issue as well. My 09 Accord has been flawless with over 100k miles on it. Mr Honda would be fuming if he were alive today. The younger engineers are leaving a lot to be desired....
Thank you! You stayed on topic. You get my thumbs up! Now, I leave in April on a 4,000 mile trip on my 2018 Touring DCT with my dog in a TSC sidecar. They won’t have my fuel pump until long after I’m gone. I have 9,500 miles. With both issues unresolved, in your opinion am I still good to roll?
I’ve been wanting this bike since 2018. But after watching all the problems over the past 6 years I think I’ll just stick with my 2015. I’ll wear out before it does. Have never had any issue at all. Just regular oil changes etc.
My 2023 DCT Airbag GL1800 is being delivered tomorrow and I've only discovered the fuel pump, weak engine underside and steering head bolt cracking issues this last few days😒 I got a great deal on the bike and I loved my old 5th gen wing. I contacted Honda UK and they said the fuel pump recall is only for the USA and that European bikes are fine? I don't believe them! There is no way that we in the EU & UK have different fuel impellers to the US market. They will just be sorting the problem in the US first and we'll go through it in 6 - 12 months time. I'm buying the Traxxion engine guard plate and steering bolt to fix the other 2 issues. This engine self destruct is worrying but as you say, as a safety problem it will have to be sorted by Honda regardless of the warranty - probably a good idea not to modify anything to do with the engine or ECU performance flash etc until it is sorted👍
Regarding the fuel pump the answer is under the seat. You can see the top of the fuel pump and it has a stamp on it that will tell you if you are potentially affected. Cruiseman has a video on it I suggest you check it out.
Look at it this way, at 69 odds of a stroke or heart attack get higher every year and I'm taking it in stride, just like the bolt failure, just saying.......Maybe they picked the wrong alloy in their general effort to "make it lighter." If the bolt is breaking sounds like they have made it to hard, the harder the steel the more brittle.
If this bolt fails and locks up the motor while going down the road it’s going to stress everything in the drive line. The engine ,transmission, universal joints, driveshaft, final drive unit. Not to mention swingarm bearings, frame joints etc, etc, etc. My 2010 works just fine.
Cruiseman, ordered the Ateq and waiting on a new front sensor.... However your video doesn't show which main menu setting you chose to register.... Check sensor, service tpms, program or RKE Test
I would hope that the people who bash Harleys specifically the Pan America watch this video. Also the videos about issues with other brand motorcycles. The 2021 Pan Americas where the most problematic as they were first year production . Things have improved dramatically over the past 3 years. That being said I have owned several Honda motorcycles and they were excellent bikes. It seems now that the more techno all bikes have become the odds of having some issues are more prevalent no matter the manufacturer.
Wow what’s next, I was thinking hard to purchase my 4th Goldwing, I was debating what color to get (looks as chrome is not available for 2024??). There are videos out showing a refresh next year 2025. Think I will wait.
There is very limited data on this "UBS" bolt failure on the UA-cam channels and forums. I would expect that if the part(s) for this failure occurred on 2019 GWs then the part would have been tested and replaced in subsequent years of production. This was alluded to in one of the GW Doc forum posts. A lot more information is needed before jumping to conclusions. Getting information from dealerships can be like pulling teeth but if even a few owners that experience this potential "catastrophic failure" carry out their due diligence with their dealership it will get fixed. If you are scared don't ride because riding scared is dangerous.
Sounds like it might be a random box of bad bolts leading to random failures. Honda should institute a blanket recall to replace the potential problem bolts. Got to be a better plan than scraping riders off the tarmac and waiting for the inevitable lawsuits.
@@alexwilsonpottery3733 apparently replacing the bolt involves removing the rear engine case so the entire engine has to be removed. Someone called his dealer and replacing that bolt would cost up to $4000. Honda decided that the liability and repair of the bikes that fail would be cheaper.
it happened to my 2019 @64000klm on the odometer, it broke the head off of the primary drive gear bolt, its a 12mm left handed thread torqued to 61ft lb, luckily I was at a stop light so it just shut off but when I pushed it off the road the drive shaft damper spring was jumping in and out of the final drive gear, the engine was out of the bike for 10 months because of covid, I still have the bike, has 94000klm on it now, hopefully it never happens again. its almost 30 hours to remove and reinstall the engine.
I had a 2018 for 3 years. Put 36K miles on it before I had had enough and got rid of it. Numerous times while traveling I had to sit somewhere because the bike wouldn’t start for more than an hour or more. When it developed a wobble in the frontend and they couldn’t determine the cause, that was the last straw.
Cruise man I don’t have a gold wing but have a rebel love the content though. Do you still have the 2018 or just the brand new one. Thanks hopefully you reply.
My2018 Gold Wing non tour developed a rattle on the left rear side motor it's the ubs bolt is bad Honda will replace it at their cost mine didn't completey break I was lucky took a trip from south of st Petersburg FL to the panhandle of Florida
Yeah.. let us know about your experience with ’recalls’. This is so much a safety issue. I’m expecting the engine lock up would lock up the rear wheel of the DCT especially with no means to disengage the clutch! I’m still preparing for my trips though. I’m not parking because of information on the internet. Honda will be in contact if I am at risk…. I hope. JT
Ffs mate...ive just had mine arrive..And paid a pretty fortune for it.. Please make some more videos like this So my bike will be worth absolutely FUCK ALL when i come to part with it.. The dealers wont touch it ..nor will the public..it will be worthless I despair i really do Sorry for the bad language But sometines it just fits!!! Over here in the uk
Sometimes when I take off from a stop on my 2020 DCT Tour, it will stay in one gear for a while like it's stuck and then change. Wonder if anyone else has experienced this and could it be related to the transmission issue? Otherwise, no problems.
I have the exact same bike and yes, it did that to me as well. When I brought it up to my dealer's attention, they said they tested it and "all is normal". And then it stopped misbehaving (or maybe the dealer did something to alleviate the problem and didn't tell me?). Maybe it's just the transmission working itself in? Anyway, what I ended up doing when the tranny got stuck, I'd just use the paddle upshifter and once in second, it would go merrily on its way. Greetings from the Great White North!
Wow. Ive had 3 Honda's in my life and now 3 Harley's. Was kind of considering going back to a Wing for the dct (arthritis in hands) but after hearing multiple potential problems with this, i guess I'll keep my current Harley. Too bad, I've always loved Harleys and Wings.
That's not the same issue. The right cylinder tick is more common and not really a problem as a lot of 6th gen bikes do it and I am not aware of anyone having a major issue with it. I Had the 2022 DCT Tour.
I’ve got a new 2023 with only about 2k miles on it (I still ride my ‘05 most of the time because it’s way more comfortable) and had the same ‘tick’ start at a couple hundred miles. Glad other people notice that same noise.
I am scheduled to pickup a 2023 Honda DCT next Tuesday trading in my 2006 Goldwing. I am not concerned about this potential issue very much. I think this could be a by product of how a bike is ridden. I sure have experienced how pickup trucks are driven, the pedal to the metal is the norm. If bikes are driven hard the majority of the time, bad things could happen. There is tremendous torque with these bikes and constant torque breaks things. We will see what happens with my DCT over time.
Not everytime.. But When I shift from 1st gear to 2nd gear...it misses 2nd.. Like I didn't shift it at all. The second attempt for 2nd gear is successful. Is this related to this bolt? The bike is a 2023 Touring Manual transmission. I've told the dealership about it.. But they say they haven't heard about my issue. And won't fix what isn't broken..
VERY VERY CONCERNING... Only 79 People in the comments here and w/4 this happened to them or knew someone it happened to. Thats a 6%-+ variable.. Do the math this is way more prevalent than you think!!!
One thing that has annoyed me about the DCT is you can't go to neutral while moving. Given this scenario, locking up the rear tire at speed would be a disaster without being able to go to neutral.
If your transmission has just locked up because there’s a bolt stuck in it you may not be going to neutral with a manual either. Just depends on where the pieces go. A rear locking up isn’t the end of the world as long as you don’t panic and continue steering the bike. As a former racer, we slide the rear out on purpose sometimes.
I had that issue happen to my bike, it cost me $12,000 for new engine parts and labor. Honda would t cover any of the work because I didn’t have all of my oil change receipts. Only good thing about it is that I have a 2018 wing with a 1500 engine.
Wow what a nightmare this bike is turning into. Since the resale value is going to be nothing now. I’ll help you out and give you $2k for your Goldwing and save you the trouble of engine failure. Just let me know where I can come get it. 😏
I get bombarded with recall panic feeds, and now this engine gossip with all the worrying and hand wringing chicken-little shit from the Goldwing community. I have seen teenage girls handle it better. What I worry about is how to get my Carlink dongle to play nice with CarPlay. That’s a head twister!
Honda QC seems to be slipping elseware too. I bought a 2019 loaded Passport and got rid of it 4 years later with just over 30,000 miles. Electrical/electronic issues were such that at the end i was reluctant to take it out of the city. I took a $20k hit +/- to get rid of this vehicle as i simply could not trust it. I was contemplating a Wing in 2020 but bought from the competition and following these videos i think i dodged a bullet.

You’re a real moron. These same report are all over the Goldwing Forums including multiple people who had this happen to them. A few of them were not still under warranty and cost almost $4000 to repair. As this issue can and has caused the engine to seize it’s a safety issue that needs to be addressed by Honda. The bean counters at Honda will only address the issue if it becomes a large public issue. That’s what posts like this are for.
Buddy..read my comments and his reply...DarrenSanderson. MAY ONLY AFFECT A FEW!!! Your spot on with your question You didnt get a reply though!!! Keep nagging him He will bite eventually Look at all the LOVE signs he gives to the ones who agree with him THE LITTLE WEASEL
Thanks for this! Just saved me $38K since I won’t be buying a new 2024 Goldwing and will keep my 2003 which quite frankly does everything a grand luxury touring bike needs to do.
Very sad, been using Honda since 1966 because of their mechanical perfection - what a shock! My Porsche 996 had a flat 6 that could explode, the infamous IMS bearing issue, luckily didn't affect me!
@@roadglide same scenario as Porsche in terms of numbers but a forthcoming fatality will be bloody sad for Honda's reputation if down to engineering inadequacies will it not?
@@drdoolittle5724 It’s only sad if this is an actual systemic recurring problem. There have been thousands of Gold Wings sold worldwide since 2018. For now it’s isolated incidences and has not been clarified by a Honda Corp. I wouldn’t be so quick to “throw the baby out with the bath water”.
Isn't this a safety issue? This could cause a catastrophic accident and should be an automatic recall. Glad I've bought my 2017 model and I'll stick with it.
I will not be purchasing anything 2021 and beyond, post covid quality is awful, too many recalls that we’re hearing about. I’ll stick with the 5th gen for awhile until quality maybe comes back.
Yea you seem to forget about the recalls and service bulletins with the 5th gen models...over heating, brake recalls...speedometer sticking, saddlebag mechanism reworked, anti dive failures, decel wobble, and frame recalls and frame cracking requiring frame replacement...it took Honda 5 years to get all the flaws out of the old model...by comparison this new model has been nearly flawless...Honda got this latest Gold Wing far more sorta out before its release compared to the 5th gen model.
A lot of recalls, but nearly every vehicle mfg has one, or a TSB. Having knowledge makes it possible to be proactive. Something like bikes, which don’t sell in anything close to what cars sell makes it more difficult to find problems and that makes it more difficult to say whether there is a widespread problem or not.
@@MichaelKallelisOn2Wheels Right! I just turned over 100 miles. Waiting on a butt ton accessories I ordered. Diamond Seat, (SEVEN weeks out) Big Ass Cup holder, Belly Pan and Phone mount. Then, it came to me while I was about to go to sleep what I didn't do. Now, every time I turn the bike on, helmet and the phone gets connected through Sena, CarPlay, Tunes, music every darn thing. I was told that I had to buy a separate, "Freewire" transmitter...$250.00 Dang...Not me! I'm thinking about doing a video on how to connect the Sena to the bike and via the iPhone .
So if there is a few bikes that this has happened to then you may well be correct but some of the responses I read here are definitely going down this bumpy road, so thanks for highlighting that there has been some failures but do bear in mind that no it hasn’t been happening to a large percentage of bikes or even moderate to small, so if your machine is correctly maintained and used then it’s highly unlikely to let you down, so go ride it and enjoy it
Good info for prospective buyers. Best time to get that pump validated is when the sales guy/gal is on your side.
You saying “I don’t want to scare anybody “ 3x is scaring me.
I don’t want to scare anyone. Damn, that’s four!
Scared me
I've got a buddy at a major dealership in California that's never had to replace a fuel pump on a Goldwing 6th Gen and never seen one with the bolt shattering issue.
Thanx for the info Chris!
Honda is not BMW
I’m sure If there’s a real issue they will not hesitate and fix it.
Thank you Cruiseman.
Always quality info. 2018 manual here.
My Transmission locked up in 2019 and they had it for about 5 months and I have the 2018 DCT transmission it locked up while I was riding to the store I was only 1/2 mile from my house and had it towed in it would not start it just died for not apparent reason I only had maybe 8,000 miles or so!!
The outcome was?
@@skychaser59 they replaced the whole transmission and engine it works great now but it should the had it for quite awhile 5 months getting parts they said(MALCOLM SMITH MOTOSPORTS )shipped from Honda my motorcycle was repaired by Malcolm Smith Motorsports in Riverside the place where I purchased it in 2018
My question is, if it locks up ona dct at 70mph what happens?
@@stevenrichart3891 Exactly my question, doesn't seem like you just can throw it into neutral at speed.
Thanks! There’s one guy out there that has over 200k miles on his 2018 GW with no major problems.
It’s not the 9 out of 10 that will never have an issue that we are worried about…
Thank you Cruiseman !!!
I have 2 Goldwings failed a manual and DCT
My Honda dealer told me to park it and don't ride it.
Ride it enjoy it. Trust it. There are not many of these failures for sure.
Eff that ... would never own a bike with that possible problem ... deathtrap
I doubt that a 2023 will be on the recall list.
I was ready to buy a DCT last Thursday and changed my mind. I bought a new 2024 Street Glide instead of the DCT.
You messed up.
Thank you for this video it’s very useful. I would love to know on a sidebar. How did you insulate your garage doors as you’ve done.
This happened to my K1600 series BMW bagger a few years back. I got rid of that and bought a GW. Now this..
They're all the same.
Oh man... not the video I wanted to see with days away from buying my first Honda Gold Wing Tour DCT...

My 2012 Wing looks better everyday.
So does my '07 14k miles 😅
it happened to my 2019 @64000klm on the odometer, it broke the head off of the primary drive gear bolt, its a 12mm left handed thread torqued to 61ft lb, luckily I was at a stop light so it just shut off but when I pushed it off the road the drive shaft damper spring was jumping in and out of the final drive gear, the engine was out of the bike for 10 months because of covid, I still have the bike, has 94000klm on it now, hopefully it never happens again. its almost 30 hours to remove and reinstall the engine.
DCT or manual?
Manual
I had a 2018 for 3 years. Put 36K miles on it before I had had enough and got rid of it. Numerous times while traveling I had to sit somewhere because the bike wouldn’t start for more than an hour or more. When it developed a wobble in the frontend and they couldn’t determine the cause, that was the last straw.
Cruise man I don’t have a gold wing but have a rebel love the content though. Do you still have the 2018 or just the brand new one. Thanks hopefully you reply.
Sigh, I just switched to Honda last year… hope they figure it out.
I just posted a quick video of my 19 and the noise it's making internally in the trans area.
My2018 Gold Wing non tour developed a rattle on the left rear side motor it's the ubs bolt is bad Honda will replace it at their cost mine didn't completey break I was lucky took a trip from south of st Petersburg FL to the panhandle of Florida
Dear American Honda, wtf?
That thumbnail though. Hahaha. Thanks for sharing
One of my friends 2019, 6 speed engine locked up, Honda replaced the engine.
My engine has a ticking sound I don’t know if that is Normal?
It is
This issue has been muttered about in the back of the shop at dealers since late 2018. Looks like there have been more failures. Great
Nice present 💕🙏
Yeah.. let us know about your experience with ’recalls’.
Please make some more videos like this
So my bike will be worth absolutely FUCK ALL when i come to part with it..
The dealers wont touch it ..nor will the public..it will be worthless
I despair i really do
Sorry for the bad language
But sometines it just fits!!!

Fear not. The probably may be very limited to a few bikes.
I’ve been considering going back to a Tour DCT - anything further on this?
It is an extremely rare occurrence.
Wow. Ive had 3 Honda's in my life and now 3 Harley's. Was kind of considering going back to a Wing for the dct (arthritis in hands) but after hearing multiple potential problems with this, i guess I'll keep my current Harley. Too bad, I've always loved Harleys and Wings.
I hear a sound in the right cylinder. I don't know if you mean this problem.
My bike is 2023 dct
That's not the same issue. The right cylinder tick is more common and not really a problem as a lot of 6th gen bikes do it and I am not aware of anyone having a major issue with it. I Had the 2022 DCT Tour.
@@jag1963 I feel good now thanks 😊
I’ve got a new 2023 with only about 2k miles on it (I still ride my ‘05 most of the time because it’s way more comfortable) and had the same ‘tick’ start at a couple hundred miles. Glad other people notice that same noise.
On the '18 & up I hear the valves just needs to be quickly adjusted on the right side that's what the tick is
I am scheduled to pickup a 2023 Honda DCT next Tuesday trading in my 2006 Goldwing.
Could be
Not everytime..
Mine does it too 😮
VERY VERY CONCERNING... Only 79 People in the comments here and w/4 this happened to them or knew someone it happened to. Thats a 6%-+ variable.. Do the math this is way more prevalent than you think!!!
Wow that surly could be a bad situation for sure. Yikes
As a former racer, we slide the rear out on purpose sometimes.
honda reliability is gone long time ago.
I had that issue happen to my bike, it cost me $12,000 for new engine parts and labor. Honda would t cover any of the work because I didn’t have all of my oil change receipts. Only good thing about it is that I have a 2018 wing with a 1500 engine.
2018 Wings didn’t have a 1500cc engine. That engine was used until 1999. Did you mean another year?
Oil change receipts? That's not a legal response to warranty claim.
👍
Awesome video but the video is a little dark

Just let me know where I can come get it. 😏
You have a tendency to ramble on. I just can't watch the entirety of any of your videos because of that.
So much for Honda reliability. Thanks for the warning.

As this issue can and has caused the engine to seize it’s a safety issue that needs to be addressed by Honda. The bean counters at Honda will only address the issue if it becomes a large public issue.

@@roadglide same scenario as Porsche in terms of numbers but a forthcoming fatality will be bloody sad for Honda's reputation if down to engineering inadequacies will it not?

It’s only sad if this is an actual systemic recurring problem.
Thank God my 2012 is good to go! Sorry Cruiseman.
