3 years ago, I had bought a new DCT Tour and I have to say, in 35 years of riding, I never enjoyed so much riding a bike, like the wing. It is simply a magical machine. So strong, so smooth, so comfortable, even with the OEM seat, yes for me it is. Sport Mode is a Porsche Panamera. Honestly, I don't even know what else I can ride, as of now. I am waiting to see what Honda will do with the 25 model, one day. For now, Honda rocks solid. 16K on her and I never saw a dealer even for one tiny problem. Honda nailed it good with the smart DCT.
Bought my 18 nontour DCT in 18 to replace my 13 F6B. Rode 13 into dealer with the wife on the back and 18 out. Non tours don't come with backrests. I kinda told her that I had never rode the bike before sooooooo. We left the dealer and I decided to Sport Mode it away from the light. Mini wheelie and she was hanging off the back a little. We both smiled!! I commuted here in SoCal on It and the DCT worked great. The car like horn is LOUD. The walking mode forward/reverse is perfect for backing out of the garage or whatever. The low CG makes it handle pretty darn good for a big tour. I had a VFR 1200 DCT and that was FUN!. I turned my 18 into a full tour by adding the trunk. The wife loves it. Great video and I have laughed more than a few times. Time to get the BT MOTO flash and unleash this beast.
I have a '19 DCT Tour for almost 4 years now. After 3 previous GWs and about 350K miles on them... the DCT is so awesome. I ride the twisties in AZ often and even tow a Tent trailer in the mountains on it. I will never go back to a Manual. It took about 3 months for me to get over not having a manual clutch and toe shifter.
I rode Harleys all my life. I was in the market for a newer touring bike I was deciding between Harley and Indian. I test rode a goldwing and I was stunned with the comfort handling suspension. I mean everything is miles ahead of Harley and Indian ended up buying a 21 Honda Goldwing manual. You’re right this is the Lamborghini of motorcycles and I’m so happy with my purchase I never looked back.
Just bought a 24 tour manual trans also. I just love it. Still have my 12 limited. Harley just priced themselves out. Besides, this is a far superior machine. It is so smooth and easy to ride.
I’m jealous. I wanna ride one. I fell in love with the DCT on my 1100T. You should also have an “A/M” button to switch between automatic and manual. I love it!!!! Got you laughing and enjoying the ride!!!!
3 Harleys in and I'd take a new Goldwing in a heartbeat! All the videos and research I have seen. This is by far the rolls royce of motorcycles. The comparisons I get are, it's like riding on a cloud
Just got myself a 2021 for $17k with only 1100miles on the odometer! I'm in love! Best bike ever! I had a Harley Vrod and a Yamaha R1 in the past... this is better at everything! Plus you have lots of storage and a beautiful back seat for the ole lady too!!! Way to go Honda!!!
Worth mentioning is that the finger/thumb shifter is useable in every mode so if you come to a corner and would like a different gear you can change gears wihout changing modes. Also, Rain mode is the mode to use in uturns or other tight parking lot maneuvers. Love mine.
Interesting your reactions. I felt the same way first time I rode one. Had been riding Harley's for decades. I immediately bought one, it is the best cycle I've ever owned. I've ridden dirt bikes, single track, owned Dual Sport, all major brands. My 2022 DCT is, like you said, a Lamborginni sport bike dressed up as a touring bike. Not clutching takes a bit to get used to. The ride is effortless. It's a high mileage queen!
I've not been on a bike for 20-ish years but just came across this vid (via some random UA-cam algorithm), and right now I am trying to construct an argument to present to my wife to justify buying this bike - wish me luck! 👍😆
Great video, and glad to see a video from a known Indian challenger rider. Considering trading my 21 challenger for a 24 base goldwing. Seems to be one step better in a lot of areas. Thanks for honest review
Other than not having a highway gear, I loved the Valkyrie. Comfortable and tons of smooth power. I had to put those bags on it though, at that point should have just gotten the F6B but the 9k I paid for that Valk new was pretty crazy, especially compared to prices now.
We just saw the new goldwing parked next to an older one. It looked tiny in comparison 😮. My wife looked at that back seat and just shook her head no. It is cool looking, and would be great for small people, or for a single person. Built for Japanese 😮
Or maybe most Americans are just too freaking fat! I'm 6'1 175 and my beautiful bride of 48 years is 5'4 115 '24 Wing DCT Like riding in/on a rocket ship limo. Eat your heart out.
Im 27 and have no problem saying the 2024 goldwing looks sick af and Im looking at getting one, a couple things I dont like as much is the sound of the bike is a little quiet and their is no other color options besides the green but Im cool with the green anyway so its not a deal breaker.
Fish thanks for the review. I am a 14yr Harley Davidson tech and my honest opinion is HDslook and soumd cool bit thats it. I have been fallowing the Gouldwing and all its progress for years. The new 2025 goldwing is comparable to a supirior air fighter jet for the road ways. I am convinced ow that it is the bike for me.
Wow! Really high tech compared to my 1st Goldwing. A 2008 model. Loved that GW. Rode it for 150,000 miles before I had to switch to a Spyder due to physical limitations. In my opinion it is by far the best 2 wheeler ever!
I had an 05 since new and enjoyed it quite a lot. I found a lightly used 2018 with the manual, which I prefer. As you said its much better than people know. It reminds me of my 83 Yamaha Venture which was another big sport tourer. Fast, comfortable and handled very well. I had an FJR 1300 for 10 years and the GW is just a bigger FJR, more comfortable and almost as quick overall. These new Wings handle better than they should, you can flick it on a back road quite well. I've owned over 50 bikes and the 18 Wing is one of the better ones I've owned as compared to the BMW's Yamahas, Kawasakis and Harleys. Given my advancing age I suspect its my last big bike, but thats ok, it's a blast.
27 various bikes later, including some nice Harleys, the new Honda Goldwing, is the most balanced, smoothest and comfortable bike i have ever ridden, delivers on all fronts! Its the kind of a bike you cant wake up fast enough to ride, and when you do park it, you catch yourself turning around for that one last look...FASTEDDIE
I’m on my third Wing. From an ‘81 bought in 2006 to an ‘85 Limited bought five years ago, now on a 2004 bought last fall. They keep getting better (other than the fact the ‘85 is too heavy). Never overpaid for these used Wings and have never had a major repair.
I’ve got a 2024 Tour dct sitting in the trailler with 0km on the clock. Never driven one prior to buying it. Can’t wait to give it the beens :) This winter will be a loooong one…
@@Ridingfish Mostly big KTM adventures. But I’ve been doing pretty much only offroad trips on those for the past 10 years. The Wing will be my ticket to getting back on the pavement ;)
@ligu0rien oh yea!!! Then 100% you will love it.. the seat position is what you are use too and then the overall ride will be perfect!! Congratulations on your new bike and the pavement!!! 💪 💪 💪
I've ridden a GoldWing ONCE and it was the easiest bike I've ever ridden and that was an old GL1200, so I can't imagine how good they are now, but based on your reaction and description it's pretty kick ass. I love seeing Indian and Harley riders reluctantly, or not, ride a GoldWing and lose their minds. Yes, it's a horizontal 6 cylinder 1800, basically an Accord on 2 wheels.
The DCT is extremely versatile. I use tour manual mode for back country rides about 50 MPH in 7th gear turning a hair less than 1.700 RPM. The engine is so relaxed with so much torque you just waft along like a feather in the wind. The DCT will actually downshift to 6th when the speed drops to 40 MPH in imperceptible fashion. So all you need is your left index finger to shift back up on relaxed rides in the country. I usually hop on the interstate to get back home and then it's sport manual 7th gear for the entire way. Downshifting is completely optional and usually just a waste of time there is so much torque. Seventy five MPH is a chill 2,500 RPM and the bike has great wind protection and a comfortable ride always. It really is a remarkable machine.
@@RidingfishAgreed it’s another world. That reverse gear saved me out in the middle of nowhere when the road I was on turned to rutted gravel with a high crown and no shoulders. I was able to make the 3 point turn that would have been difficult otherwise and they’d probably still be looking for me 😅
Loved the review and your reactions! I'll have to give one a trial ride. The only thing I've hated about the Hondas I've seen are they are way too quiet (for me, quiet is boring...I love listening to a louder bike) and the aesthetics. It just doesn't have the "cool" look like a Road Glide or Challenger. I have to admit, there have been many instances where a reverse would of been very useful. Thanks for upfront and honest review!
Absolutely true! It destroys HD, Indian and even BMW K1600. It’s amazing to me how people will spend 30k + on a HD just to be accepted by that culture. The Goldwing is THE KING.
@@Ridingfish Thanks… i’ve rode a wide variety of Bikes, and none of them compare to the GW imo… I haven’t experienced the DCT clutch yet but i’m sure i will eventually… I like the way shifting gears feels but the DCT seems Like the way everybody’s going…
I used to ride vtwins all my life, and then I bought a brand new 2021 Honda Goldwing DCT Tour in all black and I will never go back. I love my Honda, lol all my friends ride Harley and Indian and poke fun at me. Lol and they can hate all they want. Best decision I've ever made. Lol
I finally test rode a Goldwing Tour DCT a few days ago. While the DCT technology is cool, I do not prefer it…I feel that it dilutes the visceral motorcycle experience and found that it’s wobbly/unstable at low speed maneuvering. However, the Goldwing itself is so far superior to any other touring bike out there…the fit, finish, quality & performance were so impressive to me.
Never heard of a Bike Get so many great reviews in one ride. The tester couldn't come up with enough Positive #Acculates. . 🤗 Very Nicely *~"Blown Away"~* 👌
While you were away Fish, the Victory had developed some problems and I had to move it on(after 10 years and 78k miles). I wasn't planning to buy a new touring bike, with the Vic gone I was lost.. You know I really wanted a Pursuit, but the reality is, I wasn't prepared and it was not the right time for me to drop near $40k on the new Indian. So as I looked looked around I came across a 2018 Goldwing Tour(manual) with on 10k miles and loaded with lots of extras. The cost was was half of the Pursuit so I decided to buy it... I'll tell ya, I never rode a bike like it, it blew me away to. Since I bought a few months ago I've put almost 5k miles on the bike, the more I've ridden and gotten used to it, the more I realize how kick ass of a motorcycle it is.... You did make a good comparison, going from a hoped up V-Twin to the Goldwing is like going form a roudy muscle car to a refined supercar. Oh and my wife says she's never been so comfortable on a motorcycle, she actually wants to ride & tour more than ever...
The Older GW have caught my eyes and then I seen the Newer or later Valkyrie and F6B and y fell in love. Didn’t know about the Second Gen Valks and the FB6 existed. And after seeing so many used bikes with over a 100k I’m definitely buying a F6B as my next bike. Are there Certain years to stay away from. I’ll be looking for a second hand low mileage bike.
I went and sat on a ‘24 CVO street glide ..25th and the new 121….it looks beautiful….but…it isn’t any replacement for my ‘21 GWing….bike is amazing…to say nothing about 10-15K cheaper out the door🤷♂️ I love the steel, the sound of HD…but that’s where it stops..fantastic plastic for the win
...I used to say the same thing, I have now owned the same machine highlighted here (21 DCT tour blk) for the last year / ~8k miles, and I have loved every mile of it. Shinny side up.
I’ve owned 6 Harley touring bikes. Still have a road glide limited. But if money weren’t an issue I’d pick up a goldwing because cross country travel is my main interest to do on a motorcycle.
I feel like a DCT would be great in most cases, especially on long rides when passing vehicles, don't have to downshift manually, but I think doing slow speed maneuvering and u turns and all the drills would be a whole new learning curve. Because we mostly rely on the friction zone to control the bike, feel like controlling the throttle would be very choppy and would take a lot of fails and drops. But I never ridden a DCT, so I don't know.
There’s simply nothing in its class. Traded my beloved RoadGlide after a 30 minute ride. There’s nothing I would trade it for. I think you said it all.
Right now, I am on a Victory Vision and have been looking at going to a Pursuit sometime this winter. I rode a Goldwing Tour DCT that was about identical to this bike, this last weekend, and now I'm second guessing. I think I may keep my Vision and grab up a 21+ Goldwing Tour. I'd have a Vision for the big V Twin and all the room, and then a Goldwing for when I want a sports car. I'd love to hear your thoughts about how it is side by side with your Indian.
Bonjour! After owning many sportbikes since i first got my license in 1985, i traded my 1999 'Busa and bought my first cruiser in 2007. It was a brand new Suzuki M109R. At the time i wanted a more relaxed riding position but i still wanted a bike with a strong, powerful engine. I was ready to switch to a fully dressed touring bike in 2021. I bought a Victory Vision and i am very pleased with it. However, i miss the power and speed of my previous bikes. A few weeks after i bought my Victory, my long time friend bought a brand new 2021 Gold Wing bagger with a manual transmission. This bike is a masterpiece of engineering. It's fast, comfortable, the sound of that flat 6 engine is amazing and it will definitely be my next purchase. Not as much wind protection as the Vision but i suppose aftermarket add-ons can fix that. Take one for a test ride, you will be hooked! Greetings from Montréal, Québec. 🖖
Yep. I have a 22 DCT base. Been riding motorcycles for 40 years (since childhood) and owned all types. My advice, buy a Goldwing in your 30s, that way you will have more time to ride it.
I rode a gold wing dct back in 2018 when the new ones came out and really liked it. Great bike, but the riding position was very uncomfortable for me (I'm very tall) and the seat was HARD as well. (I hear it still is) The cargo space on the new GW is sorely lacking, especially compared to previous goldwings, and any other full touring bike. It's a superb machine to ride. Lacking in other areas. You really can't do much with it for comfort, either. It either works for you, or it just doesn't.
I could see wanting to stretch out on it for sure!! But the 20 mins I spent and how I was playing it was good!!... I did not put much thought into the luggage space to be honest.. I appreciate your feed back as you're opinion should be read by others also!! 💪 💪 💪
I had the same problem on my 2018 DCT Tour, so I swapped the seat for a Corbin, which sits me back 2” to fit my 6’5” self, more a sport touring stance. Also swapped windscreen for a Klok Werks Flare. Together, these make the bike fit me perfectly. Travel all day and feels great.
I agree with everything you said Fish. I had the same reaction when I rode it as well. It's simply a perfect motorcycle. It's fast, handles great, easy to ride, and dose everything you ask of it. It's everything you'd expect a Honda to be. All that and I absolutely hated the bike. Honestly for me it's too good. It boring, it's got no quirks, it evokes no emotions and it has no personality or soul. I'd never own one because I'd never ride it. As far as a bagger I'd choose my Challenger every time. Thanks for the review!
The 2018+ Honda Gold Wing is a precision tool... to which I bring all the required "personality and soul"! It is a truly refined extension of myself. ...but I take your meaning, and it is because of our differences that this would is a truly great and interesting place. Shinny side up.
That's it's problem too for me. I use my GW as I would a car, for big miles and winter rides but if I want to have fun on a summer's day I always take out my HD Sport Glide which has personality and character to spare. Basically one for miles, one for smiles. 😊
I liked your comment except for it has no soul. Rolling that throttle in a curve as the bike sits down on its suspension and it will keep right on leaning and eating that curve until the chicken strip. My pipes are drilled out so I also feel the bass thump of that 1800 in my ears and the seat as I feel it keep pulling. It's a monster that doesn't LOOK like a monster.
My 2012 GL1800 sat down on the suspension in the curve from 20 West where it meets 10 West... at 105 mph. The bike WANTED to do 150 but I was scared lol.
@ksmalls3785 the 2012-2017 GL have better wind protection, are more comfortable, have more storage capacity and if you know how to ride will do anything a 2018+ gen. If you want to amp up the handling, upgrade the suspension to Traxxion and your better than a 2018+ gen
@@robb8773 I owned a 2001, 2003, and a 2012,....than bought a 2019 DCT. The 2019 does not have the storage space as the gen 5, but that's the only plus over the gen 6. The 2018+ are far superior over the gen 5's
@@Ridingfish When I do really slow speed stuff I use the clutch to modulate my speed. This is especially useful in switchback country and on crappier roads where you are avoiding potholes and rocks and have to do very tight manoeuvres. This is where I have concern about a DCT system because how does it know how to modulate the clutch in these situations ? For regular road work I’m sure it’s great but for more technical work I’m not sold on it. Maybe some of the Police Moto Officers can chime in if they have experience with DCT and their challenging courses that they have to qualify from.
Yo Fish, the USA manufacturer's could learn a lot from the new GW. Things like hill hold, a good forward and reverse creeper gear. I still have my Victory Vision and love it, but stopping on a 10% grade holding the brake, balancing, and all is a real pain in the ass. We make not one touring grade motorcycle in the USA that is as easy to run through the city as the interstate as the new GW's. For us older riders, as I am now approaching 69, could extend our large bagger abilities at least a decade. It is time for both Harley and Indian to start being leaders in this area.
If they did the Harley purists would complain and say "It's not a Harley". Harley had to build the PanAm to show the world that they could do tech too, not just Flintstone bikes.
Have a f6b, new wings are awesome in every way, only issue is they made them to high, 28 inch on the f6b was top for me, now at 29.5 its to high, not going to lower or change seat, it throws everything else off, going to a indian chieftain with 25.5 seat height, actually found it more comfortable than the gw, motorwise, the gw is king, never will have that power and smoothness from any other bike
Watching this makes me want to get a GW…but like many folks, the size and weight scares me off lol…I have owned a GSXR600 and GSXR1000. I am older now and just want a comfy chill touring bike.
So you liked it then? I bought a new Tour DCT in late 22. Sold it in July 23 for a chieftain darkhorse which is a fabulous motorcycle But now in 2024 im going back to a new Goldwing DCT again and that will be my final bike because quite simply it is the best there is. I made a mistake and its gonna cost me 20 grand but the Goldwing is calling again. Just wished it had a better GPS and Bluetooth Connectivity on Android. It could use a refresh there.

I ride a street glide but there’s not much doubt that the Goldwing is the greatest motorcycle ever made.
I’m jealous. I wanna ride one. I fell in love with the DCT on my 1100T. You should also have an “A/M” button to switch between automatic and manual. I love it!!!! Got you laughing and enjoying the ride!!!!
The goldwing dct does have that option
I also have the Rebel 1100T DCT and I love it. There will definitely be a Goldwing in my life at some point.
I like the emotions, you are like born to be a motorcycle reviewer.
Agree
3 Harleys in and I'd take a new Goldwing in a heartbeat!
All the videos and research I have seen. This is by far the rolls royce of motorcycles.
The comparisons I get are, it's like riding on a cloud
SuperSports car of the tour world!!
My Challenger feels like the muscle car of the bagger cruiser world!
This reminded me of my first test ride of a Goldwing DCT, laughs & shocked reactions and all! A little bit later I bought one, LOL!!! 😁
I did too!
I have a 2023 and absolutely love it. Light years better than any Harley or Indian.
I've not been on a bike for 20-ish years but just came across this vid (via some random UA-cam algorithm), and right now I am trying to construct an argument to present to my wife to justify buying this bike - wish me luck! 👍😆
Good luck my friend!!!!!!!! Have her call me I'll tell her it's a great idea!
Great video, and glad to see a video from a known Indian challenger rider. Considering trading my 21 challenger for a 24 base goldwing. Seems to be one step better in a lot of areas. Thanks for honest review
I'm a motorcyclist and i can find anything good about 2 wheels.. that being said this bike is great!!
My wife said the same thing! Seat too small for her ass.
6'4 and own a 22. The lady and I absolutely love it. Still smiling over my decision. Have not added anything but a phone holder.
@@notorioussob9445 no highway pegs?or floor boards? I call bs
Or maybe most Americans are just too freaking fat!

'24 Wing DCT
Like riding in/on a rocket ship limo.
Eat your heart out.
It takes more than just looking at a bike to reject it. Maybe a test ride would be in order.
This is a great video and a testament to how awesome a Honda gold wing is..
Thank you!!
Everyone should experience the joy of motorcycle riding
i 100% agree with you!
I suppose to get a Honda Fury, damn now I want one of these 😂🤣😂
Great video 👌🤙
“Honda Golding it’s insane how good you are “ 😂🤣😂
I have that exact same bike... Making me want to dig it out of its winter hidey hole after work today . Gonna be in the 60s here in MN today.
Ride everyday you can!!
I’ve got a 2024 Tour dct sitting in the trailler with 0km on the clock. Never driven one prior to buying it. Can’t wait to give it the beens :) This winter will be a loooong one…
What are you coming off of??
@@Ridingfish Mostly big KTM adventures. But I’ve been doing pretty much only offroad trips on those for the past 10 years. The Wing will be my ticket to getting back on the pavement ;)
@ligu0rien oh yea!!! Then 100% you will love it.. the seat position is what you are use too and then the overall ride will be perfect!! Congratulations on your new bike and the pavement!!! 💪 💪 💪
Getting ready to switch from my Road King to a Challenger or a GW. Cant wait for spring thaw🥶
Let me know what way you end up going! Test ride both!!
The first time I rode a GW, riding in a Buick Electra 225 came to mind. Smoooth.
It’s so silky smooth and powerful and comfortable…. 😊
Yes, I really do agree with you!
I traded my road glide for one this year. I really enjoy it.
They sound pretty cool with exhaust on them too. Kinda like a porsche being that it's a flat six
Love the review. I totally need to ride one of these. Im jist afraid i will have to have one
Don't rife 1 then 😂....UR RIGHT!! 😤
Thank you.. the amount of info it would take to understand this bike without owning it would be a class at the university
@@RidingfishAgreed it’s another world. That reverse gear saved me out in the middle of nowhere when the road I was on turned to rutted gravel with a high crown and no shoulders. I was able to make the 3 point turn that would have been difficult otherwise and they’d probably still be looking for me 😅
Hondas are always on target for the gold wing! The Gold wings are always loaded with Hondas leading technology!
Best tourer ever! Never buying another HD,they're still using 60's technology/parts on bikes...there's no comparison.😤
Agreed!!
Absolutely true! It destroys HD, Indian and even BMW K1600. It’s amazing to me how people will spend 30k + on a HD just to be accepted by that culture. The Goldwing is THE KING.
HD hasn't changed since 1920
Just got my first GW, 2018 Manual Clutch.. It’s a beast n i’m in love with it lol
Oh heck yea!!! Congratulations!!!!
@@Ridingfish Thanks… i’ve rode a wide variety of Bikes, and none of them compare to the GW imo… I haven’t experienced the DCT clutch yet but i’m sure i will eventually… I like the way shifting gears feels but the DCT seems Like the way everybody’s going…
amazing! seeing older versions VERY affordable....... but eying new models... stepping up!
Heck yea!!! The new ones are nice!! 💪 💪
Lol
Amazing motorcycle!!!! Can't say a bad thing.. I always say are you a super car person or a muscle car person!! Congratulations on your bike
The tester couldn't come up with enough Positive #Acculates.
. 🤗
Very Nicely *~"Blown Away"~* 👌
I appreciate all these kind words!!
Amazing bike. I got a bear on the road this morning and was able to keep it upright.
Holy moly!! That's amazing riding!! I hope you are all good!!
I went and sat on a ‘24 CVO street glide ..25th and the new 121….it looks beautiful….but…it isn’t any replacement for my ‘21 GWing….bike is amazing…to say nothing about 10-15K cheaper out the door🤷♂️
I love the steel, the sound of HD…but that’s where it stops..fantastic plastic for the win
I'll have a Goldwing when im 70 years young 💨🏁 by then it'll be my 3rd bike bro
What did you like the most? The incredible lean angle or the engine that pulls like a freight train, or the F- derived front suspension?
That DCT is AWESOME!!!!
Nice video keep up the good work my brother
Best motorcycle for riding! Wish I could still ride!
@@mrt1998 man!! I'm sorry to hear you can't ride! 😢
My friends and I always say we will all be riding one of those eventually.
...I used to say the same thing, I have now owned the same machine highlighted here (21 DCT tour blk) for the last year / ~8k miles, and I have loved every mile of it.
Shinny side up.
I’ve owned 6 Harley touring bikes. Still have a road glide limited. But if money weren’t an issue I’d pick up a goldwing because cross country travel is my main interest to do on a motorcycle.
the direct drive ac motor startup sounds dope....
better than any dc motor + one-way clutch starter.
Great video. Going to check one out tomorrow.
Cool deal.. Let me know what you think!!
It just takes a little bit to get used to. Once you have it down no problem, just as smooth at slow speeds as if you have a clutch.
There’s simply nothing in its class. Traded my beloved RoadGlide after a 30 minute ride. There’s nothing I would trade it for. I think you said it all.
Right!!! My 2012 RG had to go.😤
Right now, I am on a Victory Vision and have been looking at going to a Pursuit sometime this winter.
Trust me, owning the GW, you will not regret it. However, you must test a manual one and then a DCT again. DCT is not for everyone. It is for me.
@@alp3781 I really enjoyed the DCT. There was a bit of weirdness at first but it was quickly followed by smiling ear to ear and laughing at the fun
@@ARCSSelfDefense Same here. It took me 2 weeks to adopt. Now, priceless.
@@danielfrancis4258 I changed my wind screen to F4. Perfect !!!!
Just bought a 2016 F6B and having so much fun riding it. Need to slow down...
Fun and the need to slow down are great signs!! Congratulations!!
My 2012 GL1800 sat down on the suspension in the curve from 20 West where it meets 10 West... at 105 mph. The bike WANTED to do 150 but I was scared lol.
They are governed at 120.
Awesome video my friend. GarbageMans2wheels has spoken!
I'll take it
Omg it makes me want a go on one , I ride a bmw gsa 1250 2021 , and that looks small just looking at you . Carl uk 🇬🇧
Here I am wanting to ride a GSA 1250!!
If you were impressed with this generation, you should ride a 2012-2017 model, will blow you away even more.
🤣🤣🤣
Why? Genuinely asking. Smoother?
@ksmalls3785 the 2012-2017 GL have better wind protection, are more comfortable, have more storage capacity and if you know how to ride will do anything a 2018+ gen. If you want to amp up the handling, upgrade the suspension to Traxxion and your better than a 2018+ gen
@@robb8773 I owned a 2001, 2003, and a 2012,....than bought a 2019 DCT. The 2019 does not have the storage space as the gen 5, but that's the only plus over the gen 6. The 2018+ are far superior over the gen 5's
I want to ride a K1600B with the quickshifter up and down. It wouldn’t replace the Challenger for me…but I just think that could be a really fun bike.
There is a reason honda makes more motorcycles every two days than harley does in a year
Man I loved my GW back in the day. I used to run funeral escorts hauling azz with my GW! Haha
Yes I still remember my first gold wing ride
I ride a CTX with a 6 speed DCT. I don't miss shifting. But 30 years ago I might have.
I’d love a GW at some point. The only worry I have is the lack of clutch since I’m so used to using it for u turn and slow speed stuff.
@anonymousbikerusa does U turns on his.. i didnt really play with that .. I should have tho
8:07 If a bike makes you laugh like that. You need to own one!
Agreed 👍
I have a 2023 I love it
Yo Fish, the USA manufacturer's could learn a lot from the new GW.
The Wing is a very good Motorcycle "and has been since 1975" I love my Indian and Wing "the best of both worlds"
remdinds me of a Hennessey Performance Escalade lol. Super comfy and practical, but it hides 800hp aha
I'm an R18 guy, but I have to come to the realization that when I reach old age, this might be the bike I end up with.
I've owned Harley's Indian, Kawasaki, Norton, BSA, etc, my goldwing f6b is the 2nd honda goldwing I've owned. By far the best machine bar none
💪 💪 It's awesome you have owned all those brands.. To be able to have that fair opinion
Have a 2015 honda goldwing 40th anniversary with a 5 speed for last few years to ride...
Well, you said it all! I have a 2022 DCT, and I know what you mean!
💪 💪 💪
On paper, it would appear Honda managed to build a generational bridge between a S2000 & and CBR
Effortless is the word you were looking for 😎
Yes!!!!! That is 100% a word I could had said!!
