Hurricane Helene approaching Clearwater, Florida

Video taken at Imperial Cove (on Hwy US 19) in Clearwater, Florida on Thursday, September 26 at 1 pm. At that time Hurricane Helene was a Category 3 hurricane with the eye of the storm about 200 to 300 miles offshore. It was moving northward towards the big bend coast of Florida for landfall.
This video shows the waves of Tampa Bay on the eastern side of Clearwater churning over the seawall. Clearwater Beach is approximately 7 miles west of this location.
Later that evening it became a Category 4 hurricane and devastated the gulf coast of Florida with 4 to 6 foot storm surges.
