Only ordinary people are affected and sad about this and no one else cares.
Voters in cities like London, NYC, Paris, San Francisco, LA, Chicago, etc, etc, deserve a lot of blame too. I was in London in the early 1990s. The city felt safe. I could walk around comfortably even at 3 am. Being a person of colour I stood out a bit but no one treated me badly. I did meet a Black Cockney guy who worked at our hotel and he was so happy to see an American that was not White. 😄 I used to dream of retirement in the UK because I loved it so much.
Now, there is no way that I would ever consider going back. The more images I see it frightens me what is happening there. That is definitely not the England I visited. Saddest thing is this is the same thing happening here in the USA. And it all seems to be planned for control and dominance over the original inhabitants. Prayers for Europe and the USA. 🙏

I think other areas of London look more like Bombay; Cairo or Kingston, Jamaica without the palm trees.
It's called immigration porn. It gets lots of views. You can make these kinda videos and get tons of view
London has become horrible but this video is not providing good evidence of it, and I agree, I have no idea why such a boring, un-engaging and badly edited video would have millions of views.
@@David-r8q9l Pardon, but it's not racist or xenophobic to be unhappy that our capital city is only 35% White British (for reference, it was around 85% in the 80s.) It's our CAPITAL. Imagine if that happened to Tokyo. Imagine if Tokyo was only 35% native Japanese people and they were told "shut up and enjoy your diversity!" - that wouldn't happen.
And that's not to even mention the constant threat of terrorism, and how dramatically that's changed the atmosphere in our cities, and of course people resent Khan for his comments about that. But now, the native population will never have a vote in London anyway, because they are so dramatically outnumbered by families who've only been here for one or two generations, and quite frankly, shouldn't have anywhere near as much of a say. Guess what % the Tory vote was in the last mayoral election btw? 35%. It's a sad state of affairs, we will never have our capital back, it will never be anything more than a commercial, transitory place for people to flock to and treat like a fast food buffet. And to make matters worse, it's not even remotely safe. No-one is more emblematic of that change than Khan. Try to understand people's actual concerns instead of just calling everyone racist who disagrees with you.
I’m half Polish half American born and raised in Australia. Moved to London in 2018 but the rapid deterioration of the city ( and entire country) became unbearable and depressing. Decided to move to Poland March this year and loving it. Clean, safe cities, well dressed people, fantastic infrastructure, strong nationalistic spirit, and hatred for illegal or mass immigration. If you want to live here, you have to be useful (means work), integrate, and respect the country’s values and culture. If you don’t, the Poles will make you don’t feel welcome - no such a thing as political correctness here.
You are not half Polish and half American, that was your parents. You are Australian.

Billionaires need to integrate instead of living in different countries whilst taking from state finances and not giving back enough. I've read the same bullshit of blaming immigration for societies woes in newspapers from every decade in the past 150 years, it's nothing new. Look it up. When will you people learn that the system is the problem. The US is a nation of immigrants, made by mass immigration. And those first immigrants committed genocide. Now it's the descendents of these people, the imperialists, who are causing most of the world's problems. They are causing a perpetual refugee crisis.
You're blaming the wrong things and all the while the extreme capitalist exploiters are getting away with destroying the planet and affecting billions of people's lives. I think most people are not racist, just frustrated with what's going on, around the country. It's the same here in Ireland. People can't get housing, and then you have lots of homeless people, yet the government are letting people in, left, right & center. Tents around Dublin, filled with migrants, etc... It's not a good look to be fair. Then you have high costs, rents, everything gone through the roof. I think most people are very frustrated and angry. How do you explain the continued popularity of London for people who leave places that cheaper, safer, cleaner and less congested than London to build their lives in the UK capital?
London remains the most exciting and vibrant city in the world.
Not saying this in any disrespectful way, but to say you're not worried about safety, just "hyper-aware" of your surroundings is, to my thinking, the very definition of worried. It's the random nonsense that makes the UK unpleasant. While I of course love much of the UK, especially my home town of London, I have lived half of my life elsewhere, and would not live in London again for too many reasons to go into here.
I noticed this living in Southampton, especially seeing the diversity barriers go up on the high street and the seeing the population change to be more islamic and African. You would walk around always aware of your surroundings and more and more paranoid about your personal safety/leaving belongings... Having to work with lazy Somalis etc praying in the office.... I had to leave... Now living in East Asia and much happier. Who wants to live with this kind of stress? Also the grey skies in the UK keep everyone perpetually miserable. I'm sure they manipulate the weather.

Being from the U.S., I enjoyed visiting London in the 1970's. It was SO much safer, clean and uplifting back then. Today it has become a dangerous and depressing dystopia. Same can regrettably said about New York City. We lived/worked in Manhattan when Giuliani and Bloomberg were each mayor. It was an enjoyable, clean and relatively safe city back then. Never imagined it would deteriorate as it has and so quickly, all of which began with Democrat and Communist leaning De Blasio as mayor.
You never met New York during the crack era?

The sounds of London.... Screeching police cars every other minute, foreign languages begging for money and I can imagine the stench.
Don't let this dissuade you from visiting this wonderful city. I went to the UK this summer, spent about 8 days in London and it was a great visit. Our hotel very close to all these locations and we walked on these exact streets. The only bad smells we came across was in Hyde Park (fresh horse poop that had been run over). There were a lot of the Romani gypsys begging and had tents in grassy medians and on the edges of parks, but we never saw any on the sidewalks. The phone snatching thing is a real issue and we did see those masked villains on ebikes and scooters. You have to be very aware how and when you use your phone. I would go for walks on my own (female in my 60s) at night, on busy street and walk along the Thames, never hassled (wanted to soak as much in.) The parks and museums are wonderful and free. Food is was cheaper than my last visit to NYC or Boston, and the quality and variety of cuisines is vast.
Visited several other areas in the UK, the other two I really enjoyed were Cornwall and my new favorite place on the planet Scotland. Wow what a beautiful country. The Scots are extra lovely people. Only spent 5 day in Scotland - Glasgow, Edinburgh, the Highlands (on walks) looking to go back for much longer and really explore.

London, like the rest of England rapidly becoming Third World dump.
You can’t rush it ……speed limit is 20mph…
So it’s a very slow escape 😀😀
Nice paraphrase of Dr. Johnson.
😂
Paddington station,3 hours gets me home to the moors and the sea
Having a muslim mayor has caused no end of problems
Just another WEF ponse
Really. Go to English towns alot worse. Dirty scruffy druggies alcoholic thieves homeless people
But according to stats, 50% are muslim. We didn’t see any full on garb in this video. I wonder what places like Luton, Rotherham look like!
Londoners voted him in.
Non-Muslims don't vote. Vote them out...
Omg, just came back from London and loved it. Is no different than any other cosmopolitan city in the world. At least, of the same size.
Und what happened to his voice, geez. Lol
Paris, Rome, Vienna, and other EU cities look very different today than they did 20 or 30 years ago. That's the reflex of globalization.
Yes. They look much better now than they did 20 or 30 years ago.
Vienna has definitely improved a lot and is on a prosperous way upwards; “the most livable city” is not just a title they win continuously.
Are you high on crack? Wien Is a remarkable city with a fantastic quality of life!
You mean this is the reflex of migrants refusing to adapt to the local rules but impose their own traditional archaic way of life on the locals
Not by accident, by design...
Exactly
Is that a VD Dance photo?

I lived and worked in London from 1969-1982---then moved back home to New Yok City. This video almost made me cry. All my British friends told me about what I'd find if I came back--but I didn't believe it. Still......I will always remember the beautiful, gentle London where I spent some of my happiest years. I'm sure it's still there, hiding maybe, but there. Lynn in NYC
Yes London used to be a 'gentle' city it used to be so safe here - as a female one could go for a walk in the park at 3am and be perfectly safe doing so, one could sunbathe in parks wearing the skimpiest bikinis and no-one would take any notice - now I'm too scared to walk to Tesco on own anymore and have to get everything delivered too scared to go out.
@@ChickpeatheTortie I am saddened to hear that! Thanks for responding. My English friend, who now lives in New York, is currently visiting a relative in No. London for a month. (I lived in N. London, too.) I will have lots of questions for her. To me the '70's and early 80's seem like yesterday. But they are obviously a lifetime away.Lynn in NYC
It looks bettet than nyc
😢 sorry 🙏 yes is very sad. I feel the same.
@@aliciagarcia5421 Thanks for responding.
This pair seems to have decided that they were going to make a negative video about London before they even got off the plane. I just spend a month in the UK, most of it in London, and I love the place, always have. This was my tenth visit since 1991 and I always have a great time. Sure there are beggars and homeless, but I see the same thing in New York, Portland and my hometown of Seattle. London was no better or worse. And the overt racism about immigrants and foreigners both in the video and the comments is pretty obvious. You guys must love Trump. It's a MAGA world now, isn't it? I look forward to my next visit to London and hope I don't run into this whiny pair.
Perfect response to the overt negativity. Well said.
Lol believe it or not most people want to see British people and culture survive and not get replaced by millions of migrants. Imagine if you wen tot Japan and everyone there was Arab you'd have some questions.
0:19 A lot of police but a whole lot of nothing 😂😂😂
Someone probably said some hurty words on tic toc
The only way I would return to London would be as part of an army of liberation.
Well said. So sad to see London/UK as it now is.
Blair must Love the way things have turned out .
Wasn't his slogan 'things can only get better'? Still waiting...
Alot of things have changed since he was pm. (great financial crash 2008, brexit 2016,Covid19 2020) Perhaps you should update your ideas.

Same in Germany.
I love it.
People have to wake up. 😁👍
I left the UK in 2000, because I could see what was coming. Unfortunately I choose Canada, which has now also fallen.
It is the West that is failing, not specifically the UK.
So you're an immigrant 😂😂😂. With zero self awareness.
Lol immigrating to a freezing cold country filled with new immigrants from India. Good choice
@@migooknamja I grew up in Canada and I always loved it. The cold reduces diseases. I also had a lot of family there. In 2000 it was a great place, but not anymore. You evidently know little about it.
Is Western Canada better? Alberta, British Columbia.
London and New York City have finally joined hands as they dive inside a burning dumpster.
Yes, as an American have visited London .. a great place. However, we face similar situations in the USA… but DEPENDING where (State/city) you are. I am a native New Yorker during Rudy’s and Mike Bloomberg's time it was sweet. Unfortunately, the lug nuts voted in empty suits. I am hearing that people are finished with the BS at least in NYC. San Francisco, LA, Chicago, etc GOOD LUCK !! We are two weeks away from November 5th. Trump is elected, not that he is the be-all and end-all, we will stop the rush to the bottom. I hear from many Americans, white, black, Asian, Hispanic, etc they are finished with this insanity. My opinion may be wrong, IF TRUMP IS ELECTED keep your eyes open for a change of direction!
Good luck to my dear British friends in the UK and especially London! KEEP THE FAITH WE WILL HIT THE BEACHES AGAIN AND FIGHT BACK !!!👍👍😄🇺🇸

The celts? Or Normans? Danes? No, you mean the Romans? Saxons? Or are you talking and the Angles? The Jutes then? Oh the Vikings? Basically, ‘Britishness’ was always the product of cultural mixing. Winston Churchill wrote an interest series on the history of these Isles. Xenophobic white Brits would do well to read the descriptions of your ancestors as per Roman/Greek accounts lol migrants civilised the British.

Possibly your last visit to London according to the title. And after watching the video I think few people are going to try to persuade you to come back again 😆
I recently visited Japan and was amazed how different it was from the UK.
There was none of the litter, homelessness, grafitti , drugs etc etc that is so commonplace in what is the now UK which is fast becoming one big cesspit
Much nicer (and friendlier) women too, with no "issues".
They are taking in immigrants from India I heard, so watch this space.
@@klawlor3659i married a Japanese woman and she has plenty of issues .
