Great fun last night cruising under the Sunshine Skyway Bridge and viewing its $15 million LED light show. We were told the Florida DOT can change the colors nightly and for specific holidays. The weather and temps were great! ☀️🌴☀️

Tour of house and gardens on March 7, 2021. It was under renovation so the upstairs rooms were closed. They were installing a new terracotta roof on the house as well as improvements to “the barge” and tea house on the bay side of the estate.

I understand people can plan the garden the way they want it, but... IMO, no one who is really serious about gardening would just buy a plant that big and have it installed, they would buy a small plant or even a seedling and grow it themselves.
Still so sad about them selling to OEI and closing Mitchell’s
How much would one of those cost?

I didn’t really want to see the beach in the video, as I have seen it many times. As I see in your comment that you enjoyed your stay recently, I was hopeful you might expand on the physical building more? Could you share more of the experience, cleanliness, amenities, size of beds, mattress quality, etc.?

That’s called a king palm
Foxtail Palm --- native to Cape York peninsula , Australia . FYI -- This variety of tropical palm was only discovered in 1984 by botanists, growing in groves along creek banks in remote areas of Cape York .
What did you put as soil? Why sand? A good Soil was not going to be sufficient?

I thought so too. I think I would have had the big one towards the house, or maybe towards the property line. Then again, the homeowner may have just oriented it to wherever it would viewed from most often. It is a nice group of trees
