I watched this a few months ago and it got me interested in the series, so I bought the first game. I remember thinking it was absurd that she would compulsively switch back to igni even when using other signs. watching this now after playing through a significant portion of the witcher, I realize ive done the same exact thing, I have consistently switched back to aard after using other signs, I think because it was the first sign introduced to me? very strange phenomenon, love the video btw
Few years ago I familiarised my girlfriend with Mass Effect trilogy. After couple walks through she even raised difficulty from easiest :) Couple months ago she finally gave a chance to Witcher 3. I like it sometime to sit near her playing as it is similar with watching move or stream :) And she's my wife now also
Her hyper focus on Gwent is hilarious, I just recently started the game from the beginning because I never technically finished it and I became super obsessed with Gwent (again), so much so I ordered replica in game cards of every faction off Etsy so that way I can use my own cards while I play Gwent in the game 😅
I'm jealous, having a girlfriend that's genuinely enjoying the things you love with you. Trying to get my girlfriend to want to play these games is like herding cats.
TW3 is the only game where I never felt like any quest was a chore, the only part that did was getting all the question marks greyed out in Skellige in every _single_ 200-hour playthrough.
Really love these videos. I think it would be interesting to here her perspective on some of these games after she plays them. Like a short Q&A/Interview type thing, or even just giving her initial thoughts.
I feel this one in my soul... I've had the same issue with my boyfriend so it's essentially the reverse of this situation lmao. He got so distracted by Gwent that he stopped playing altogether and just picked up the standalone GWENT game instead - then proceeded to forget about TW3 entirely before moving on to a different game.
Gwent was so good and so popular that it actually became its own game. I think its been shut down by now, but it was wildly popular for a long time. Entire youtube channels and twitch streamers were dedicated to it.
Ahhhh yes the ever lasting quest of finding players to challenge for RARE cards, if anything the country side is the side quest and the card game is the main game
Good ! Doing only one video on the subject would have been a mistake I think. It's always nice to see her evolving with each video too. Your channel is kinda making me envious of your relationship tho not gonna lie, hope it stays that way for you two.
Geralt doesn’t name his horses roach so he doesn’t get attached, infact in the books& games he’s always quite attached to his horses, the english version was lost in translation with the polish name for his horse, it was meant to do with a specific fish you can find in Poland
I recently played and finished rdr2 and yes i know the game came out in 2018. If she hadn't give it a try yet she totally should. there's only a few games out there that brought me to tears like rdr2 did.
One of the biggest cases of Geralt changing up the dialog is when you “aggressively push dikstra out of the way” geralt decides to change that to, BREAK DIKSTRAS LEG!

Great video, for sure hope there is a follow up in the works!
Your videos are always great.
She needs to play Blood & Wine DLC. Best sidequest in that is all about Roach ;)
Can’t wait to see her reaction on the free upgrade
The Witcher 3 side quests is where this game shines and oh boy I love 'em
Few years ago I familiarised my girlfriend with Mass Effect trilogy. After couple walks through she even raised difficulty from easiest :)
Couple months ago she finally gave a chance to Witcher 3. I like it sometime to sit near her playing as it is similar with watching move or stream :)
And she's my wife now also
And yeah, Gwent is amazing! Game inside game!
If girlfriend likes Roach there's a side quest in one of the DLCs where you can talk to him and he'll talk back
Her hyper focus on Gwent is hilarious, I just recently started the game from the beginning because I never technically finished it and I became super obsessed with Gwent (again), so much so I ordered replica in game cards of every faction off Etsy so that way I can use my own cards while I play Gwent in the game 😅
I have been waiting for this
I could watch an entire playthrough with your guys commentary, that shit had me dying
I'm jealous, having a girlfriend that's genuinely enjoying the things you love with you.
Trying to get my girlfriend to want to play these games is like herding cats.
Had the same problem as Girlfriend with Blitz Ball in Final Fantasy X. You play that Gwent, Girlfriend! :D
I'd LOVE to see her reaction to the Roach quest in Blood and Wine
Love your stuff! Also, MAKE HER PLAY THE ORI GAMES!!!
3:57 "Geralt, we have no healing items" hahah xD
damn you did this just before the free next gen remaster
Gwent claims another soul.
One of if not the greatest game of all time
TW3 is the only game where I never felt like any quest was a chore, the only part that did was getting all the question marks greyed out in Skellige in every _single_ 200-hour playthrough.
Think you’ll like the trails series and Xenoblade.
I love this challenge you guys deserve 100k subs
You did well, this game is literally THE BEST
Ah yes, Horses and Gwent, the game.
Gwent was so good and so popular that it actually became its own game.
I think its been shut down by now, but it was wildly popular for a long time. Entire youtube channels and twitch streamers were dedicated to it.
She will love the quest Equine Phantoms from the Blood and Wine expansion
Ahhhh yes the ever lasting quest of finding players to challenge for RARE cards, if anything the country side is the side quest and the card game is the main game
Good ! Doing only one video on the subject would have been a mistake I think. It's always nice to see her evolving with each video too.
Your channel is kinda making me envious of your relationship tho not gonna lie, hope it stays that way for you two.
0:57 i would react the same😂 Leaving White Orchard with lots of unexplored questionmarks would itch my ocd in rpg 😂
i love watching these it also brings me back to when i first started these games myself
That's the way it is...
@@sannidhyabalkote9536 fuckin' strauss man
UA-cam algo recommended me this vid, this is like the opposite of girlfriend review! Awesome 👍
Ah yes, Witcher 3, the best open world card game on the market.
Hearing geralt cuss at princess is music to my ears
Another game with good horse mechanics and excellent combat with a compelling story she could try next; Ghost of Tsushima!
You're the biggest chad for putting a song from the Katana:Zero soundtrack on here.
1:29 "oh im gonna like this game"
Same thing i said when i saw that tbh
One of the biggest cases of Geralt changing up the dialog is when you “aggressively push dikstra out of the way” geralt decides to change that to, BREAK DIKSTRAS LEG!
