other good games i would want to see these videos on are portal, celeste, hades, bioshock, halo and metroid.
(plus, the yt-chanel 'razbuten' did something similar with their significant other. maybe a colab of a coop game could be fun?)
Good journey, the horse hype, the sadness, and hitting us with a HuniePop track outta nowhere, thank you.
Bro, I'm a grown ass man...
I played that game 16 years ago.
I cried when she saw her Agro died... I literally couldn't hold myself together...
Beautiful game, awesome vid and very well put together.
its funny listening to this as I clean my tattoo of the vital spot. Also the whistle for Argo is heartbreaking!
Brilliant. I cried when she cried. Part from laughter, but also part real tears. Great game, great video. Well done.
I do love riding around in the world in this game in between each colossus. My first impression was I was riding through the fields of Rohan and Gondor in Middle-Earth, the landscape just felt like it could have fit in that world.
It's pretty much the one game where an empty open world actually works
Jeez, seeing Shadow of The Colossus after 3 years really makes me want to replay the remake/remaster(?). It’s truly such an amazing and beautiful game everyone should experience eventually, one way or another.
1:15 I feel incredibly called out right now...
Also the revelation before and after the 16th colossus still hits hard sixteen years later! Typing this made me realize how old the original release is now, oof.
this is my favorite video of all time
Taryn needs to get an IRL horse community funded
Holy... your GF crying for Agro was heartwrenching. I am currently at work, letting this video play on the side for some ambience and now I am crying too T_T
The music around 6 minutes in sounds a LOT like the music from Magi-Nation. Brings back so many memories.
man, imagine the waterworks she'll get from playing The Last Guardian lol
Knock on wood of course, but this really does feel like I've caught a channel /just/ before it explodes. Every video's so fun!
This is a uniquely cool concept. We get your girlfriend's spontaneous reactions, with your commentary filling out the story.
BTW according to the designer of SOTC, Agro is a she.
The genuine joy in her voice when it turns out Agro survived the fall
Good thing you didnt tell her that if she hits the lizard in the tail they drop it and run away.
I wasn't expecting to cut onions during this. WARN a guy, willya?
Lovely vid by two lovely people. Subbed.
Someone criticizing sotc for having "too little enemies between colossi" is like saying that a hack'n'slash has too many enemies or that there are too many things to craft in a survival game.
The solitude and somber atmosphere is the entire point of the game.
