While the podcasts are fun I can't always find time for them these shorter more focused videos are perfect for me thanks for another great addition
I don't watch too many of the podcasts, I love when the guys just go laser focus on their beautiful delivery
Did you know the podcasts are also available on Spotify? I tend to just zone out to some lore whilst I’m working. It’s a nice way to keep me focussed 😅
@@DrLukeHart yes they are
the only thing i don’t like about the podcast on spotify is how often they interrupt each other and talk over one another. i personally prefer these more focused videos for that reason
@@j.jonahjameson4727 I actually noticed something quite similar. They’re getting better at it though - Michael is quite good at politely calling it 😂
"The Altmer are the oldest race inhabiting Tamriel"
The Hist : 🌳👁️👁️🌳
The best Race~
the hist is a thing...that created a race..not a race itself..
Yeah, they've got an extensive hist-tree.
I wanna know more history about my Hist tree.
@@cheezewizz2000 That was a pretty good one, bravo.
Don't forget a video on the Reachmen's pantheon for this series. :)
Yes this is a great point!
Don’t worry they will most certainly forget and this comment is useless
Jk
They might remember
'Auriel's Ascension' is the one of the most beautiful tracks from Oblivion. It feels so pure
best track In TES games, period!
@@homosexplosion Whenever I listen to it, I imagine myself laying on a field just outside the Imperial City, and gazing at the Aurbis
Indeed. Auriel's Ascension is just as grand as the Elven God himself.
@@scx9862
Agreed 👉🏾
Amazing video. A+
It's nice to see a High Elf video that isn't full of bashing for a change!
The only thing I miss about my old job is the 2 hours of highway slab time I had every day. That's when I'd throw a fudge muppet video on that I can just zone out listening to and just cruise and think. Gosh I loved that. I don't even give myself a single hour a day anymore.
Gosh those were the days.
This is the single best lore video I, as a fan of The Elder Scrolls series, have seen on the internet. The creation story as told by altmer, is the most thought-through creation story perspectives available to the player and honestly, I love to hear about it over and over again.
OMG YAY!!!!!!!
I remember requesting this topic like over a year ago in a comment on one of Drew's videos, but I am _just as thrilled_ with Scott being the one to indulge my fascination with this pantheon as I would've been had Michael or Drew done it.
Thank you, Scott!! Much love, brother, and I hope you guys have started planning your MILLIONTH SUBSCRIBER PARTYYYYY 🎉😎🎂🎊🙏 lmao
*"Ah, the Aldmeri Pantheon, truly the greatest of the Et'Ada. May Auriel and all his Elven Children bath in Anu's Everlasting Illumination, and escape the tragic trap that is the Mundus"*

Nah, the Padomaic Entites such as Lorkhan or Boethia are tainted, untrustworthy Et'Ada

*"What do you mean by this my friend? Forgive me, I seem to be blanking on my knowledge of the Veiled Heritance... either way, may Auriel guide you, praise be unto Queen Ayrenn, long may her reign be remembered."*

High elves...
@@thalmoragent9344 Hi there Vampire Nord here can you please send more Thalmor assassins I'm getting hungry.
You should do videos about warfare and how each race historically makes it armies. Any information on their military, use of magic, war beasts, historic battles and changes. As well as things like how previlent war is and what scale it gets to.
I literally said "ooooh!" out loud when I saw the notification for this, so I think I'm going to enjoy :')
I was always curious about the Altmer pantheon since we never got to see it in any great detail in the games. All Altmer content is welcome since too many people like to hate on them.
@Wirrling No they watered down their lore. Made their architecture look like typical elven buildings instead of how they are described in lore.
ESO made only the dunmer be unique.
Aye the Thalmor in Skyrim start shite with the Nords, Redguards, and Imperials and the Altmer take all the smoke for it. Feels bad man..
It is reasonable the hate to an extent though. Damn Ayleid and Thalmor Knife-Ears.
@@Rodiacreed to be fair they were probably just building off the Morrowind groundwork. I never played enough ESO to say concretely but I can take a rough stab considering that Morrowind well loved by fans and The Toddhead himself.
@@morrigankasa570
To be fair though, there were many Aylieds who allied with Allesia and her Rebellion, and were murdered by the Allesian Order for no reason other than being Elves
Maybe I'll roleplay an Altmer paladin, collecting all the artifacts of the Elven pantheon
Auriel's Bow and Shield, the staff of Magnus and maybe Volendrung
Wintersun Faiths are a must for that
Same, and Gelebor not being a companion... is super unfortunate 😕
@@thalmoragent9344 damm, I'm sure there must be a mod for that
Try Legacy of The Dragonborn. That mod adds tons of new artifacts from Previous games. Ring of Phynaster is one of them. But you have to start a fresh new game as the mod is gigantic and may cause some issues.
Artifacts of Skyrim Revised Edition adds many other Artifacts, Penitent is one of them.
@@thalmoragent9344 Try Reletionship Dialogue Overhaul.
Wow. Now I have finally heard of the high elves
Great video Scott! This is such an interesting aspect of the lore. I hope the main story of TES6 focuses on the Thalmor and the Psijic Order.
Could you do the Psijics' pantheon and ancient Falmer as well?
Most likely the same as the Aldmeri Pantheon, as Gelebor lists off a few to us in the Dawnguard DLC
@@thalmoragent9344 yes most likely, just hoping to learn if there's any more depth and nuance to it that isn't easy to find
@@lornkern3276
True, any Falmer Lore would be great. Ysgramor and his invaders may have wiped the Falmer Race and it's civilization off from the face of Nirn, but Gelebor and the Chantry of Auriel will always stand as a great monument to their once great civilization, boldly overlooking the lands of Skyrim, untainted by Nords who would Vow to desecrate it.
If you're interested in the Psijic religion, try looking for The Old Ways by Celarus The Loremaster, you can find it for sale with Jobasha in his bookstore Jobasha's Rare Books, found in Vivec, Foreign Quarter waistworks.
Truly a blessed day. Thanks a ton for all the incredible work, yet again!
I'm so glad when you guys use clips from ESO. It has such great landscapes that you should use them more!
You had my full attention the moment that beautifull Oblivion exploration music reached my ears♥️
Thank you for everything you guys do! Love any attention we can get for the Altmer!
Have You Heard Of The High Elves
Have you?
Nope

Your lore videos are incredible. They never get the views they deserve. I appreciate what you guys do so much, you have made the world of elder scrolls so much more alive for me, thank you.
Thank you so much for driving into this topic.
I love curling up and watching one of these lor videos. Love the great work guys
Can't get enough of that Elder Scrolls lore, thank you!
Another awesome lore video from the boys!
Thank you for a great vid on my fav topic !
Ooh thank you! I am looking forward to these! This one was interesting 😊
I'm with Fudge Muppet on the disappointment at Summerset looking like the Disney castles. I was expecting the castles made of shining glass like the armor sets.
I JUST got super into pantheons thank you! Honestly this is the first time I actually understood the reason for Veloth's exodus/Trinimac's transformation, and why Altmer would hate Dunmer so much.
Excellent as always! Can’t wait for the Bosmer run down.
Yes. MORE OF THIS! Please, lots more of this.
I searched for a Video quite a while already explaining it nice to get one from you
You should make a video on how ghost work in Tamrial. It's something I've been wandering about. But there dosen't seem to be much on it.
I just want to say.
The visuals. Just stunning.
Great analysis video! Thanks for uploading!
You guys are so close to 1 million, I knew you’d get there!! Here’s to 2 million 🎉
Been at 996k for a week. The elder scrolls lore new viewer pipeline is slow until es6 I’m sure
@@Purriah yeah, most people that are into it have been into it for a long time it seems
Looking forward to the next one!
I've never understood how the god of time didn't come from the force of change, when time is literally like the measure of everything changing.
Dnc
Godhead probably had a bit too much jet the day before.
Time is supposed to be linear and unchanging, it's supposed to be rigid, only ever moving in one direction.
It's the Force of Order that keeps things in a stable fashion. Which is why Dragon Breaks are so damaging when they occur, time isn't meant to be changed or altered
@@thalmoragent9344 Can I just say?
For a Thalmor, your pretty damn chill.
@@zixx844
Not all of us Altmer who love the Dominion are the same pompous, uncaring Elves you may perceive us as.
I'm fighting to destroy the Empire, the legacy of Tiber Septim, the man who assaulted the Summerset Isles unprovoked with a Dwemeri God Weapon
Great to have the FM crew back to their craft; great content creators. :)
Getting real close to 1m subs. Kudos guys. You deserve it
you guys are doing great so close to 1 mill!
I would love to know more about the Psijic Order. They sound very interesting.
Super Excited for this Series!
Already love this series
You guys have inspired me to give ESO another try (first two times didnt take 😤) with all these amazing visuals and the expanded lore. You should totally start a Fudgmuppet guild! I think it would be the turning point for me in this game being part of a guild that respects the lore as much as I do! 😎
OH I ASKED ABOUT THIS AWHILE AGO. Time to drop everything and listen.
Funny how most of the elven gods were mortals, but the Altmers dislike Talos because men can't not assent to godhood.
Wouldn't say "most" of them, and not only that, but many of those Mortals were already closer to gods than even the Altmer of today, since Aldmer were closer to Ehlnofey, closer to Et'Ada
And Tiber Septim as well as 2 other people all had to come into power into one entity, Talos, so...
All of the Thalmor but not all Altmers. Even if they hate him they have every right to do so since he did invade their country and kill a lot of them.
It's the very reason why. They want to be gods and their entire culture revolves around returning to godhood. For them, humans do everything wrong.
Yet in the end the only one to actually pull off returning to godhood was a human. It's a giant slap in the face.
@@LB-py9ig
Well, more Elves in the Lore have ascended to godhood than Humans, and considering that even Talos was a fusion of 3 of them... not as impressive. Plus, it would be something they'd hate given what Tiber Septim did to them
@@thalmoragent9344
Right, I forgot about the mythical figures and the Tribunal.
You know, the more I think about it I imagine the Tribunal was also highly unpopular with the Altmer. They were elves sure but their teachings are things the Altmer would see as down right heretical.
Great way to start the day 😌!
Great topic for a series
I love this series already 😍😍😍
Awesome video bro
Yasss ! I'm obsessed with the Altmer, skyrim did them so dirtyyy
They're better presented in ESO
absolutely agree. I think most people's opinion on the Altmer is borne out of their portrayal in Skyrim.
@Wirrling exactlyyy !
@@spartanhuntergaming for suree
Also my favorite part about skyrim! Super stoked guys!!
Theology a la the Greek word Theos refers to a single god or often referred to as "The One True God", so theology would've really apply to almost all the pantheons of Tamriel.
excited for this!
New series eh? Oooooooh, hype af for this boys!!
Awesome video, just started an Altmer who'll be a Battlemage wielding powerful destructive magic as well as Atronachs and flesh spells
It's a bit of a strange plot hole(?) that the ancient Falmer supposedly had a temple to Syrabane, according to Gelebor, if the Thrassian plague happened over two thousand years after the Falmer rule of Skyrim was over.
This is gonna be a good video
This is like gnosticism. The material world being a prison.
I love the deep low and slow voice ❤️
This is going to be a good video series
How trinimac really died. Dark elfs left trin follows boetha shows up and says "do you recognize vvardenfels right to exist?" Aurel "im not touching this" trin "no i dont" maphala azura "loud gasp did you hear him get em boe!"
I feel like this series has potential:)
Also if lorkahn had his way and none of the gods backed out. How "limited" would this world be? They have magic because of magnus leaving early, would that potential universe just be really mundane and without alot of "magical" aspects?
Yeah, Lorkhan's trap didn't go as planned, and so there would've been a LOT more limitations/restrictions in Mundus, which has been called the House of Sithis as well, the Sum of all Limitations.
So yeah, no magic, and less spectacular than what Mundus is now. Maybe more like our world, no Magic, no Alchemy, none of that.
@@thalmoragent9344 im just gonna believe thats the fallout universe without any evidence
@@thalmoragent9344 No, Mundus is not the house of Sithis.
@@Super50ldier
It is, it has more limitations than not. The only reason it's not as limited as our own world is because Magnus fled and alerted all the Anuic Gods to what was going on.
So yeah, just saying.... if Mundus is primarily Lorkhan's realm, and he's the God of Chaos and Limitation, and is seen as a "finite" being, then safe to say Mundus is indeed the House of Sithis.
Ever read the Book "Sithis"?
@@thalmoragent9344 Have you read the Monomyth?

*Pelinal Whitestrake wants to know your location*
Could you make some builds built around each of the elven gods
I really hope we don’t have to wait decades before we get to play in the home of the Altmer.
Also what’s the background story for the snow elves then? Were they Aldmer and if so why did they leave?
Unknown
Do we get to the Cloud District very often? Oh, what am I saying... Of course we do, we're subscribed to the best channel on UA-cam.
So almost every story says lorkahn "tricked" the other gods but he never lied in any of those stores, the gods just got cold feet and wanted to back out of his creation, it sounds more like the rest of them being petty than shor being a trickster. Elders scrolls has many very selfish gods
He “tricked” them in the sense that he didn’t tell them about how it would weaken them.
@@therockingvolbeat3630 I wonder though if even he knew.
I agreed
@@brandonsandberg true. How would he know he'd lose power? Let alone other aedra.

i like your videos
is it possible to do a video about the khajiit pantheon?
The Old Ways that the Psyjiiks follows explains why they took away the Eye of Magnus and saying that men and elves alike were not ready for such power.
Have you High of the heard elves?
Auriel protects
I wish we had more on Trinimac, not the least statues. It is tiring to always see him 100% equated to Malacath.
One thing I don't understand about the Trinimac/Malacath connection, is why some orcs continue to follow Trinimac. Since the orcs are descendants of the elves that "smeared the Boethiah Trinimac feces over themselves" (no matter how literally you want to interpret that), meaning they followed this new form Malacath... how does it make sense that some *orcs* follow Trinimac? Wouldn't they still be golden-skinned elves?
*is that Trevor Lawrence (QB of the Jaguar's) in the thumbnail?*
What if oriel and laurkan are the same guy with oriel being the soul of laurkan which was the body. What he did may just be tried to kill the world he created and getting back his powers by separating his soul and trying to ascend by killing his body which refused to die and became the sacrifice of the world for the world to live while oriel escaped and Transcended time and is trying to kill everything by making them age to recover his divine power which leaks into the world as mana thus creating a balance of life (given by laurkan) and death (brought by oriel with time).
Is Scott using a voice charger he sounds unnatural in the latest videos
