Santino took it too lightly. Cornette took it too seriously. People calling Santino "a snitch"? No one should get away with assaulting employees. Staying silent will mean it would just keep happening and getting worse.

I mean, yes. In the modern corporate world, 100% true. However, in the "old school" wrestling world, a slap was... let's just say, nothing. It was common to literally beat the shit out of the talent before they even got a job, and things would "get taken care of" if someone stepped out of line, and it was *expected* and how people got taught how to do things. Problem for Cornette is he didn't realize times had changed.

Lmao “staying silent”…as if Corny was some crazy pred, who was constantly abusing wrestlers behind the scenes. Wild how it’s considered so heinous nowadays, when in all actuality, your favorites probably did a helluva lot worse when they were on the come up

You have to understand he came up at a time where wrestlers didn’t make a ton of money. They barely was able to feed themselves and treated like jokes TV stations didn’t appreciate wrestling and thought it was trailer Park trash bs that would never be marketable so for him to see anybody that doesn’t have respect for the business to sell for other people that is going to piss him off but not just gym. A lot of older guys would’ve done the same thing. The difference is that people are just too soft.
