D'Lo Brown and Savio Vega were the 2 most under-utilized mid carders in the WWF in the late 90s. Ahmed was apparently brutally abused when he was younger by his father. This according to a 15-20 year old shoot video interview. One can hope he got the mental health support he needed, let alone admitted he needed it and agreed to do it. You can tell in these post WWE older videos with him that he's super analytical and smart, but there's a big roadblock in there that needs attention; his mental health.
This is true. I had WWF magazine back in the day and it had a REAL interview with Ahmed just being Ahmed. He told horrible stories about getting beat at home, passing out from having boiling water dumped on him as a kid. I always factor in his psychological damage, I feel bad for him, but there's only so much you can excuse, you know?
@@Revidescent84 agreed. It's horrible, and can never be excused. No one should have to endure it - but Ahmed the "wrestler" was horrendous and took serious liberties. Vince has a fair bit to be blamed for too, loved his big musclehead men a bit too much........
