Guys.....this has been the most entertaining video I have watched. I laughed I cried I sat here on the edge of my seat as each engine was swapped getting more and more on edge with anticipation. It was enough to inspire me to comment. GREAT JOB GUYS!
Why did you cry? You ok?
you Cried?
@@kyleewert5630 Crying from Laughing so hard?
Somebody's excited 😂
Cool episode, like a call back to the old $50 gokart with a stage 4 engine. Super impressed with Ike holding the hammer down and giving the dingo and his spine all it's got!

Yo a 43 min video…….a blessing from the heavens if you ask me. JACKPOT
I actually work at Harbor Freight and I've been itching to see how the new Ghost Motors compare to the competition since they were announced. This was a fantastic episode and a great tool for anyone looking to compare their options for upgraded or new motors! Great job as always guys!
Ask HF why the Ghost vibrates so much!
@@BuzzLOLOL Mine never vibrated, when you mounted it, did you torque your bolts? use medium strength thread locker? did you install the engine at the correct tilt or angle. or have you thought about your motor being factory defect.
*Ike* : _"This thing vibrates like crazy"_
*John* : _"Did you check the air in your tires?"_
the tyre pressures do look a bit high, would probably be much smoother with softer tyres
Which engine is your favorite?
the ghost is probably the coolest but the the built 225 is the best imo
I think this list isn't complete without including the EC 228R and the EC 236R. Of these my fav is the built 225R, but you can get the EC 228R for under $900 and be able to spool 9000 rpm.
Stage 1 tillotson without the governor.
I use tilly stage one…love it
212 predator has outperformed all the others hemi s all of them
In my opinion
I’ve not experienced the 225 yet but 0-30 it beat the tilli but top end tilli wins
OMG. Charles @23:25 coming out of the home stretch air-born & twisty! Awesome!
This episode was freakin great guys!!!! Love the length and y’all should do more!!!

I love the video, it is a good way to show the difference in cost verse performance. I noticed the chain on the Dingo seemed to be loose or have about a 1 1/2" of space from the large gear on the back of the Dingo.
Hello fan, thank you for subscribing and watching, you have been selected for our ongoing giveaway,Text the above number to claim reward*****************🎁
Love the video,it was a learning experience. I noticed that the rear tyres aren't wearing evenly, might need to air them down a bit. Could make it a better ride as well.
Agreed. Those tires shouldn't be ballooned out so much.
Tires are the first part of any suspension
I just have to say guys. This was not only VERY educational in engines for projects but also VERY entertaining to watch! Love it.🤘
Enjoyed the video! Good stuff fellas
Excellent guys. Always enjoyable. Keep up the good work 😃

The first time I jumped my Dingo, I learned how bad the ride was. my back hurt for over a week. I ended up using a really thick cushion under the seat after that.
My brain is mean so I apologize but I have to say this..... Did the cushion have a dildo glued to it for your vagina? Also, fun fact: I only had to type 3 letters before my phone guessed dildo... and it only took 2 for this sentence.
i hit 50 with mine on a stock internal 212 predator hemi, stock carb and stock exhaust and i rolled it bad lol
Any time y'all put out a video that is at or around an hour is a good day. I love these longer vids, especially ones this action packed. I know these kinds of vids aren't all that practical but they are the absolute best.
Can't wait the next mini mayhem vids. It ALWAYS looks like the best time, i just wish i had a kart or bike and could afford to go one day.
Great breakdown at the end guys. 🤘🏻
Interesting comparison builds, & tech. Not to mention comprising your bodies for our enjoyment, had to bring a few times... Great work gentlemen, Thanx !
Amazing episode. I feel sorry for Issac! Imagine how much faster it would be with suspension

Ive said this before, I wanna see the king of the crop one of these engines on their Yard Dart 2.0 Yeah no shifting but I think it would be in the 49 second range.
Oh man I would have whooped ass at the backyard 500 with these engine options in that cart 😂😂
I would love to try my hand at a stage 1 small block build off backyard 500. The dingo is a pretty awesome kart! No suspension but air down those back tires! 2.5psi is enough pressure to keep the bead seated and provide a pretty comfortable ride with 2ply tires.
That was awesome!! I love the camera view. I notice myself leaning with the turns. Lol😂
You know you're old when you lay on a concert floor and just say "My spine..."
I feel that with every bone in my spine LOL.
Very happy for y’all and your growth and success. Makes me glad to be a supporter. This was an excellent video!
John, uses your cnc table to cut put a bracket to hold the carb still, one side with 2 holes to go on the intake screws then a cut out of the carb bowl, and use carb screws to tighten it all together, probably going to have some funky bends to make but it'll keep it was shaking around so much👍🏼

Loved this video not only did you include the time difference, you showed the pricing which is a huge thing not a lot of people show.
Epic video guys !!! And I actually learnt alot of things I didn't know. I had no idea how reasonable the price's are for such a great selection of engine's. Great video and super insightful. Definitely helpful with steering me in the right direction with my Yerf Dog!
One of my favorite videos so far , right up there with the original wheelie cart video
Wow the Predator 212 Ghost have an incredible price to performance ratio for being a stock engine with warranty.
I agree. They added $150 to the Ghost for parts that they didn't include in the other builds and you can't buy a Tillotson 212 stage 1 for $310. More like $420.
Remember Ike sacrificed his spine to bring you this content. 😅💀
Best video I’ve seen across the spectrum this year!
that looked like a lot of fun, great stuff thanks guys

I really wanna see what you boys can do with a Honda grom! They’re fun to mod and there’s lots of cool parts for them
What year is your dr??
@@waltcomotorsports3994 my profile pic is my old ‘05 dr200 and sadly it was stolen while at work and then I bought a ‘96 dr650 to replace it
Aww man thats brutal, my 92 dr350 was stolen aswell but by some divine miracle i got it back with little to no damage
they've done plenty with those Honda grom style engines. you've never seen any of their ct70 or z50 videos?
I didn't even know the predator 212 was so cheap
Charles got my vote for best finish ever 😂🤣🤪 Ike gets my vote for best endurance 😂🤣 John for the most sane 😂 best video so far 👍👍👍😎
Gotta do this with the T4 Kart on a proper race track. As a reference i ran a bone stock 212 vs a tilly 225rs just tuning gearing on a kart similar to the T4 at my local track and the difference was on average 10 seconds between the 2 engines. high 54's with the tilly 225rs and about high 1:03's with a BONE STOCK 212. Loved this video you guys are awesome btw! 🤙🏻
Buying a dingo this week so this video was perfectly timed and now I'm buying it for sure.
Awesome video! Thanks for comparing these.. I'd love to pick any of these really. I definitely want a go kart again.
The ghost is $300 on the harbor freight website. I assume the accessory kit is the extra $150 or so dollars?
I'd rather have the regular 212
@@NubsWithGuns Your wrong. Look at the times. I have one on my minibike and it kicks ass. I have had multiple stock 212s with Mikuni carb and after market exhaust and the Ghost is hands down a better engine.
@@NubsWithGuns The ghost engine is for a spec cart racing series It's not meant to be a super high performance engine. It is designed to be a less expensive option to the other engine in the spec class. Engines have to be approved by the governing body of the series.
@@dillonpapa does it vibrate like crazy?
@@kleetus92 It vibrates less than the stock engines.
I have a suggestion as a part 2 to this video.
Since GPS has an engine dyno, ship or take ALL the engines you ran for this shoot out, JUST AS YOU RAN THEM, to GPS and have them dyno all of them to get actual HP numbers and see actual rev limits. Use same gas you used for the shoot out on the dyno. DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING.
Also, that Dingo REALLY needs a camera mounted at the roll bar pad in front of the driver/steering wheel. The one up higher did a great job of showing the helmet being bashed all over the place (along with the head inside it). You guys should VERY SERIOUSLY consider getting a padded neck brace to slow down that bouncing to lessen the brain scrambling.
You should not tell people what to do. Sounds pretty unreasonable.
@@BMXrecords lol, weirdo😆
A simple spring seat would've helped Ike's back a ton
I built an exact copy of a 228 they built that they claimed 25+hp and on the dyno it made 17.9hp all these huge numbers they claim are marketing lies not to mention gps uses massively inflated dyno numbers
I don't know which was sketchier. The air Ike caught the time he said his spine went out his head or Charles crossing the finish🤣 Great episode!
that thing is a wild ride. big thumbs up.
Should swap the fully built engine into the bronco ! Engine Would really perform with full suspension
Be interested to hear Ikes rant about the new ghost 👻 engine. I feel that it's not worth the money over a stock predator that has the basic same parts besides the rockers. Sorry.
Yeah, they're fine if the point of getting it is to race in a specific series requiring factory sealed engines, but you're better off with a stock one and upgrade it.
I always enjoy a good rant too! Let’s be honest here, Go Powersports sponsors C&C, Harbor Freight doesn’t. Ya got to dance with the one that brung ya. It’s pretty hard to make a fair comparison between a sponsors engine and an engine from a shop where you have to pay retail and don’t get any kickbacks. Thanks for the videos!
Gosh I hope the mini dragster gets more upgrades!! Love seeing it in the background! Keep up the fine work boys!!!!!

Great episode. That same EC Carburators Tennessee Thunderstix Banzai .265 Sprint Kart cam that's in the Tillotson 225 installed in the Ducar 212/Tillotson 212E with a billet rod and PVL flywheel is no slouch. It's my favorite cam for on and off road with a Juggernaut.
I was definitely entertained. That Dingo chassis was overpowered by those modified engines in my opinion. The "stock" engines would probably have done better with the torque converter that matched those engines like Ike mentioned. I think you could have got the points across with a simple drag race but it would not have been as fun. I think if had a chassis with suspension those modified lap times would drop by a surprising amount. Excellent video!!!!
oh that chassis was 100% being over powered hahaha. On a smoother/faster track it definitely would have showed a bigger gap between the engines
At the velocities you’re achieving with that Dingo, it looks like that spindly roll cage would just fold up and trap the driver in any sort of collision.
Hello fan, thank you for subscribing and watching, you have been selected for our ongoing giveaway,Text the above number to claim reward*****************🎁
Dang right.
Looked to me the front of roll cage was bending just driving through the track.
I was mistaken, in a subsequent vid Isaac hit a tree branch with the Dingo at a pretty good clip and the roll cage got dinged, but protected him from injury
That was so funny when Charles said “psst do you want some camshafts?”🤣🤣🤣
You guy's are nuts!! I can appreciate what you do!!
I think it's time for some track work yall. Would really love to see it more cleared out and track markers.
The spot where they drive over the concrete at the creek seems like a spot for a bad wreck.
@@andrewgee241 yeah it needs a wider turn into area. One last turn and u hit dead square or left front hitting for a quick stop.
Love this. I’ll watch it all. But… I very much think you guys should do a project to build a DIY dyno for mini bikes and karts. You’d probably need some sort of computer genius to help, but if you can get some trustworthy repeatable rear wheel torque and horsepower numbers, 0-40 times, etc, that would be great for comparing power plants and tuning. Then all these claims of “should be 25+hp” or “estimated 20HP from these mods”… etc could be actually proven and perfected.
Even just an engine dyno on the bench would be cool, to test and tune mods, and easier to build with a Mount plate, height adjustment and interchangeable shaft adapters. But engine specs don’t translate directly to rear wheel performance.
Even better… do both! The software would be the hard part, and the same software could probably be used on both.
Don’t do away with the actual driving tests, that’s the funnest part. Just use a dyno to enhance the fun driving.
Plenty of people have made thier own dyno's so these guys definitely have the skills and tools, It's just the will and its far to easy to use the excuse "we just want to have fun" to cover up for false claims.
"I could do a 8min lap of nurburgring if I wanted to in my P1" is very differen't to doing it.
I think this is the most interesting and intense video you’ve ever made I was jumping up and down for y’all I wish I could do what y’all do. Y’all are living a childhood dream in a adult body. Thank you for entertaining me 🙂🙂🙂
I appreciate this video a lot, it puts in practical terms, the cost and performance value in each of these engines and lays it out Linearly. I have been running a stage 1 Tillotson to 12 on my black widow go kart for almost 2 years now and as you said, it might be a good idea to upgrade to stage two.
I'm 6'6" and around 360 Lbs, and my back gives me trouble just walking around. I feel SO sorry for Ike's spine, after this!
