Diablo is such an easy get on game pass ultimate to hook you and get dlc and cosmetics, i love it

And I only played for season 1 and end of 4 and 5. Not nonstop.

I totally get it, but I followed Greg (and co.) over to KF bc he was the video game “story guy”, so it’s a bummer to me when a game like Silent Hill 2 gets relegated to Games Daily while this gets a big GamesCast. No big deal, but bums me out
To be fair, most people didn't expect SH2 Remake to be any good. Bloober has a bad track record and this is really their first critically acclaimed game. I'd imagine KF planned it out ahead of time expecting SH2 to have mediocre reviews. Nobody expected SH2R to hit high 80's for review scores.

Love it or hate it, Diablo is a huge franchise and this is it's first major expansion. And it's one of Gregs favourite games, even if it seems to be the one time he doesn't care about story 😅 For them it just makes more sense

Happy for the people that enjoy this game. This feels like roll your hands across the buttons and turn your brain off to me.
You wouldn't make it very far. If you don't meticulously choose your build you'll fuck yourself over and plateau. This is very much use both sides of your brain game.
@@jeremyvisser3877it’s really not. I played for 30 hours or so on release, and never struggled once. I just lost interest because it wasn’t engaging for me. Again, happy for everybody who enjoys it.
It's not challenging to finish the story. The challenge comes from designing your build. You challenge yourself with higher and higher difficulty while minmaxing your build. It's a game for engineers to tinker and speedrunners to race. OR you lower the difficulty and mindlessly mash buttons, if you're into that.

@@EveryTimeIDavid I don't know how it's currently designed, but typically you start by raising the difficulty until button mashing becomes unviable. There's no reason it should still be mindless after 30 hours unless you don't bother to change the settings. It's not an adventure game where you choose "normal" and stick with it. It's on you to raise the difficulty while you play, as you learn the mechanics, find loot, and improve your build. Maybe they lock the difficulty now? I haven't finished the review.
Regardless, you replay it because that's the nature of the genre. You get out as much as you put in. It's very deep and engaging if you choose to engage with it, and it gets deeper the more you play.
You don't have to enjoy this unique sort of challenge, but you were incorrect that this is just a matter of running your hands across the keys.
Diablo 4’s content updates fit my playstyle well for it. I tend to get really into the game for a short time, then lose interest and stop playing completely. However, Throne and Liberty is so good that I’ll likely spend a lot of time on that now. Then there’s the New World re-release, which I want to get back into. Plus, Silent Hill 2-it’s a PlayStation classic, and with the great reviews, it’s definitely a must play for me

Why is there a review of a dlc and not a review for Silent Hill 2. One of the most influential games ever. Makes no sense. I know they talked about it for a few minutes in the daily show.

Not even an influential game to most people bruh. Diablo 4 in general will be played by more people than SH2 calm down and go find it instead of demanding people to post it.
They all thought lt was going to be shit or at least not the best and with so much to play choose other things.
They just looped the Silent Hill 2 review in with Games Daily because the KF crew is clearly not interested in it (I could be wrong, but I don't think a single one of them has played the original). Roger reviewed it and loved it, though, so check that out.

This is just a repeat of D3. Release a sub-par product that's a former shell of what made the series good then introduce QoL and any meaningful changes with the Expansion release.

I don't know, I thought it was pretty good at launch. The end game was a little undercooked maybe, but it was a solid until then, then I took a break for other games, and came back later. If you don't want to play it don't play it, but don't not play it because of the past.
Give it a try. D4 is fun.

Because she's a Diablo fan. She's got 6 or 7 characters in the game so far, that's pretty good. It's just fate ended up not giving her much chance to play too much of this expansion, but they'd have organised who'd be on the review weeks ago
