    My opinion for the moment:
The original Stream was 1080p 30 Fps on YT - and some examples in small windows instead of fullscreen, a very questionable presentation in terms of technical setup. Another problem was to show just old-very old games, that already look pretty damn good. The difference to the PS5 PRO Versions was hard to spot. There is not much contrast between Standard and PRO-version. Sharper a bit yeah....but who cares, if it looks already good. People have played that already, so it was not very exciting in terms of content.
Additional they recognized that people prefer performance over pixels already - and they come along and add....more pixels. Well okay 120 Hz gaming is not really an option for most out of the gaming crowd anyways. But you see the point here. Pushing pixels is quick and easy, adding new details/visuals requires work from the developers.
They need games, that do look okay but could have been better and then show how cool it would be on PS5 PRO. I look at Ark Ascended for example. Slightly blurry, only 30 FPS mode available....(but if you count on WildCard to get things done, than you are lost).
Unfortunatley one thing qualifies for this category, but is not very popular: PSVR2. Reprojection is a huge turn off for newcomers, blurry ghosting movement and overall without Eyetracking-Support in many games, Resolution is mediocre at best. VR-Suffers much more than PS5-Flatgames from outdated Hardware and is thirsty for upgrades of any kind.
Too bad Sony did not care for VR2 all along, PS5 PRO could have make it shine. So i am not convinced until Digital Foundry gets their hand on a PS5 PRO and say Hell yeah this is a great device. For new PS5-Customers...they can get the PS5 PRO for best results. For users that already have one, i think it is not really wort the money at the moment.

So, quick addendum, the original stream was 1080p 60fps, which is good as at the very least you could see the frame rate difference if you had it on that setting.
But I like this response. I lamented that before this was announced they were unlikely to show how it benefits PSVR2. The upside is that there is no obvious reason developers can't utilize the extra power from Pro on VR2 titles, so I'm hoping the upcoming Metro and Alien games can see an improvement.
Outside of that, I think it is a hard sell to get on streamed videos, and this will largely rely on word of mouth to expand outside of the people with disposable incomes who just want the extra power and don't have interests in PC.
The real thing I think will have impact is allowing the PSSR to push games up to a higher effective resolution to allow easier ability to hit 60fps in non CPU limited games.
Thanks for your thoughts and as someone who has enough Sony rewards points that need to be spent by January 1st, I'll be getting one and giving a fair take on if I find the value matches the price for me on an individual level or if it leaves me ultimately wanting!

@@NARTECH I hope PSSR is good enough to keep up with DLSS. In my eye this feature is the most important one. RT is nice, but usually you can turn it simply off and use traditional lightning which looks good enough for many users anyway. I think developers benfit from RT - they do not have to put too much work into lightning and it just works (Tod Howards words ;) - but in this case i believe it to be true)
Okay the Stream must have been 60 Fps - weird i am pretty sure that DF mentioned that aswell.
Do not get me wrong, i think you can have fun with the PS5 PRO....it is just....i see where this is leading and some people still tend to give feedback that this is somewhat okay. May be Sony should switch to the stand-business, safe a lot of money by avoiding to develop new games and become a market leader ;).
I am very sceptical about this.....and i pray that they do not drop PSVR2 again....although, that is what i am afraid of and i think it is not an unwarranted thought. I have heard Sony's promises...but..am i convinced yet? Nah, not this time.
Anyway, i have 4 apples here now i am going to eat them. Have a nice day and whatever happens - kepp a good mood.
