i am 44 years old and have listen to rock music since i was 10 and have to say this album is hands down the best thing i have ever heard. i really hope they continue as Tom would want them to.
I just love these guys and their music so much. Difficult to put into words how much I admire them, their work ethic and effort, not to mention the outcome of what they produce. As big as they are, I still think they're underrated - Tom especially, having written every single song they've ever made. I never knew that. truly amazing. Incredible bunch of guys making incredible music. Best band around, by far.
I am come from China,I same to you! When I first heard them,I'm totally shocked! So powerful rendering force, unbelievable! There is no doubt that they completely underrated,Powerful energy, strong force of rendering, filled with goose bumps! My favorite bands are: 1.UNDEROATH 2.ARCHITECTS 3.OH,SLEEPER 4.THE CHARIOT They are heroes in my heart!
Still can't believe Tom passed away, he was the essence of this band, the heart, the motivation, the feeling. Architects will never be the same without him, Dan, Ali, Sam, Adam are so stronger humans beings. ''At least we're all lost together.'' Miss you Tom.
10 years have pass since this album dropped out and still hits like the first listen, it has such raw and powerful feeling, Lyrics are hard to take, cause they speak so much truth about the world even more nowadays. And it amazes me how these guys pull it off in such an indie way
Missing Tom already. I hope the band doesn't die aswell, if that's even possible without the godly inspiring hands that guy had being around to compose and write nearly everything. He was hands down the world's strongest glue to the band, but I still hope that Architects lives on. The odd thing is that no one seems to know what specific cancer type took him out. Much love to the band and families that were tied with Tom. I actually cried today when I found out that one of my biggest guitar inspirations has left us. He was truly a unique musician who couldn't easily be replaced and also seemed to be a great guy in general.
Wes I know how you feel, same thing with not ever having felt this way over any other musicians who have passed. First time I've ever cried over a passing of someone I've never met, and I'm 21 years old. I think it was to do with how innovative he was in his writing. His age along with cancer being such a hard way to go was the big bow ontop.
I loved Bowie, big fan of Prince but this literally winded me when I heard. Man soundtracked my teens. I'm going to be a wreck watching them in Manchester this November. No idea how Dan's gonna get through each show.
Watching this just made me tear up so badly. Wish the band nothing but all the love in the world. One of my favorite bands since their start. 💔 Rest eternal Tom Searle. Cheers mate.
Personally Lost Forever//Lost Together is my favourite Architects album. It's fucking brilliant, the songs are structured so well, just the album has no weak spots. It's just pure classic Architects from start to finish. Another thing is the quality/production of the album is unreal, it's hard to describe the way it sounds but it just amazes me. Definitely getting the Architects logo tattooed when I'm 18. I got into them from Hollow Crown and Ruin and I've loved every single album, including The Here And Now. I hate how underrated Architects are compared to bands such as Bring Me The Horizon but it's really nice to see a lot of recognition towards this album, because I loved it, I think it's Architects' best album yet. Seriously lads, well done. The wait for this album was definitely worth it.
architects are finally pretty big now headlining festivals. Got into them in 2014. This is the album that got me obsessed with them and made them my favorite band to this day (2023) im glad I saw Tom live in 2014 open for The Ghost Inside in San Diego California. Saw them once more in 2019 live in Anaheim which the show is on youtube. amazing crowd
Holy Cow! What beautiful, inspiring people. This record sums up exactly what I love about Architects. Sending a message about what's wrong with the world but at the same time giving us all hope. It's very rare to find camaraderie in a band that rivals this lot too. If it wasn't for this lot I'd be in big, big trouble! I know you will probably never read this boys but in the hope that you do, Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. You've created something awesome and YOUR band has made me who I am today. From a fellow Brightonian: you guys rock! Don't ever stop! Long live PunkRock! x
@@justincoulter1992 You're 100% right. And, in fact, their last album did zero for me. But I'm so happy they've found as much commercial success as they have with it. I think they deserve it, even though I'm not entirely sure they'll make anything that blows my mind the way they did back then. And why should they anyway? They've made some absolute masterpieces. Now go make some goddamn money!

+OMGIDestroyedMatter what do you reckon the best gauge string for a low G would be? I can't find the right balance on any existing set between skinny enough on the D Standard end (especially towards the high end, 11s feel right for D Standard to me) and thick enough for the low G to not feel and sound like shit so I'm just gonna buy a thicker single string for the G. any advice on what gauge would feel right?
Oh man, I just love making of's. I could watch stuff like this from my favorite bands all day long. Sometime I evan have bought records because they had a making of DVD attached. :) Great record, have been hearing it for the last few days. Really, really like it! Great job guys!
This is how you make a "Making Of" video. Absolutely inspiring. Had the pleasure of watching them live and meeting them at a show in India a few months back. Such down to earth dudes. And Sam is a beast live. Did get confused between the two Searle brothers though, haha. Love their music! What an amazing band and what an amazing record!
