"Its really like holding onto smoke thinking that somehow if we achieve 'this' its gonna be some sort of salvation and life isn't about that, its about NOW" Rest in Peace Tom Searle.
He looked skinnier, but to know you can look that good still and be that close to death is mind boggling..R.I.P Tom. I can't listen to a single song on this album without feeling every single word of it through my entire body. Thank you Architects for humbling me once again
straaaaaight up dude! best album of the year for me hands down regardless of anything that comes out in the next two months. this shit hit me so hard and has literally changed my whole outlook on life
Watching this back in the context we have now makes it incredibly powerful and heartbreaking. Tom, I hope I can be as defiant and positive if I ever face of such odds. The art that you produced in arguably the hardest part of your life is astounding and the mark you have left on heavy music, and music as a whole will be your legacy. All by the age of 28. Rest in peace.
This ending brings me to tears. Tom was such an enlightened individual, and an incredible musician. Thank you for every piece of your journey and emotion you left behind for us to cherish in your music. Rest in Peace, Tom Searle.
This year someone I admired heavily died of pancreatic cancer and another person I've idolised my entire life broke his neck. I'm not a long time fan of Architects but I can't help crying every time I see Tom or listen to a song that could have been influenced by his condition. What an impact he's had on the world, it's amazing how frankly poetic the band are. Yet most of society frown upon the style of music.
+hussguy1990 I meant more the style of the album, how it's progressed from the previous but with now some really atmospheric melodic elements. Sams vocals have always been amazing and yet have still managed to get even better for this album!
I think this album will not just be album of the year, or album of the decade. I really, really feel like it is on the way to possibly become the greatest metalcore album of all time. No doubt that it will be a masterpiece anyway
Tom's playing was always an influence, and its even stronger now. I hope Architects continue the legacy and stay true to Tom's art and way of life. Here's to living in the moment.
Both in musical creativity and in lyrics perspective, Architects are by far my favourite band. They raise awareness, just like other bands have done, do and will. Those bands are paramount. I wish everyone in the world would wake up. Change things. Take back what is ours. I believe its coming soon. "This is a wake up call!" Architects is my beacon. Gods know I need it. In a time of despair.
Honestly I love the band, but a lot of his riffs seem recycled, they seem to write the same way that bands like Slayer and Lamb of God do, get a key sound and stick to it because people like it
One of the greatest heavy albums ever released as far as I’m concerned…”Gravity” is an absolute banger and I cannot listen to it with out tears welling and a huge lump in my throat…the only song that resonates with me..every single word… Thank you Arxhitects!!! Thank you Tom
Unfortunately I discovered Architects right before this album and I can’t say I’ve “followed” them through their career, and I only got to follow them for just a few months before Tom’s passing. Yet when I saw the news I was absolutely crushed, devastated, angry, sad, and everything in between, because of how influential his work became to me in such a short amount of time. This album was already a huge part of my life before Tom left us, and knowing what we know now, All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us really has become the most influential album of all-time (in my life) given the circumstances. This is an incredible, masterful, immaculate, carefully crafted work of art that Tom left us with to mark his legacy, knowing his fate, and he came far from falling short of perfection. Thank you, Tom, and thank you Architects.
2:15 - 2:32 is why I love Architects so much. I haven't been really into them from the start, but they found a way to crawl under my skin and now a day can't go by without me listening to at least one of their songs. Really looking forward to hearing what else you got to say guys, keep up such this amazing work!
I don't think anyone understands how excited I am for this album. I haven't looked forward to an album coming out as much as this in years... Thank you.
Honest to god. Every single bit of this album I've heard so far, from A Match Made In Heaven, Gone With The Wind, and all the snippets in these video diaries, has been absolute gold. Not a single bit where I've felt "meh... it's okay I guess". This may very well be my favourite album of the year. The hype is real! ^.^
I could honestly sit here and listen to Tom talk about music for hours. That last 30 seconds or so of just him is so poignant now. He was and still is a massive inspiration throughout every aspect of my life ❤️
This series makes me tear up everytime I watch it, I might be wrong but I feel there are so many subliminal messages. Daybreaker and All our Gods will forever be my favourite albums of all time.
Sometime it washes away Just ( ? ) dont last forever It's now or never Is this the catalyst? Just let me burn the bridge that leads me nowhere Cause it's gone, its never coming back Ive heard it all before Arent you tired of all of the violence inside of you Just let go Well what are you for waiting for Arent you tired of all of the violence inside of you It's all you know Gravity, hold onto me
This track has to be released, it's absolutely immenese and I need a London tour date. Preferably the round house again!! Architects do not disappoint :)
It's been only a year since I really got into you guys after the last album, but I am so proud of everything you've accomplished and am so fucking stoked for the new album. Thank you for shedding some light on this sick dark world. Peace!
Can't remember a time when I was this excited about a new album coming out, I keep looking at the calendar and going "crap, still another 9 days till release". I literally can not wait!
Following this band for years, im glad to say how much they've accomplished and keep progressing. Im so stoked. And by the way - For the sake of a hard working photographer - whoever produced this video (im guessing Welsh), be sure in future studio releases u correctly type Lucas last name "Englund" in the credits...
Very strange that I heard them first time on the air plane. I was like swappy swappy and heard Gravedigger then I was like this blows Periphery away in pleasing way. And I replayed the album till I landed.
after Lost Forever Lost Together i thought it would be really tough for them to beat that album, but holy shit, 3 songs in and they already did it... i´ve almost given up on metalcore, but not these guys, the passion they put in their songs is unbelievable and hard to describe... can´t wait for 27th
"Its really like holding onto smoke thinking that somehow if we achieve 'this' its gonna be some sort of salvation and life isn't about that, its about NOW"
Rest in Peace Tom Searle.
That last shot with Tom when it switches camera style seems like it was done on purpose in hindsight.
RIP
Totally agree

Fuck. That first minute is absolute gold.
+Pentecostal It's EPIC! :D I can"t wait ! xD
This ending brings me to tears. Tom was such an enlightened individual, and an incredible musician. Thank you for every piece of your journey and emotion you left behind for us to cherish in your music.
Rest in Peace, Tom Searle.
The look in his eyes in the very last moment, after he says "exciting". It's so damn painful.
Damn, it made me cry

12 seconds in and I'm already like "stop it guys, it's already too good, just STOP, I can't take how everything you release is just a blessing."
+Leora Ojadi SAMEEE !!!!
+Leora Ojadi SAAAAMMMEEEEE
+Leora Ojadi SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMEEEEE BLEGH
So incredible to re-watch these and see how Toms illness shaped the band and the record, you'll be dearly missed x
I can't even watch this anymore. RIP Tom. You absolute legend of the music industry!
This Album is about to set the world on fire fucking hell.
+Clutchmaster New Architects and Silent Planet records. What a year this is.
+Václav Pospíšil And Invent, Animate
and letlive and thrice and Napoleon (finally)
+Clutchmaster amen to that mate! :D
The new melodic aspect in his vocals is just insane. It's drawn from the previous album but you can still see so much progression in the style.
Agreed
what are you talking about, Sam had grown as a singer alot but his vox on ruin and hollow crown were great too..
+hussguy1990 I meant more the style of the album, how it's progressed from the previous but with now some really atmospheric melodic elements. Sams vocals have always been amazing and yet have still managed to get even better for this album!
Listening to Tom saying he didn't know what would be coming next makes me so sad now. Rest in Peace! :(
I think this album will not just be album of the year, or album of the decade. I really, really feel like it is on the way to possibly become the greatest metalcore album of all time. No doubt that it will be a masterpiece anyway
You were spot on
It is.
Lmao

"This is a wake up call!"
Architects is my beacon. Gods know I need it. In a time of despair.
never been so stoked for any album ever
RIP TOM. There is a massive void that will never be filled by your absence.
how is this band having such good riffs every single time
Because they're all the same riffs
+Ryan Reiling no they don't, and you're probably a hater
haha, yeah, they've done more with their lives than i have so anything i say is invalid anyways
Honestly I love the band, but a lot of his riffs seem recycled, they seem to write the same way that bands like Slayer and Lamb of God do, get a key sound and stick to it because people like it
You won't be forgotten!
Tom would be so fucking proud of everything you guys have done since all our gods have abandoned us! Thank you guys for all your work!
2:15 - What a human.
These 3 behind the scenes videos take on such a different meaning now with Tom passing. RIP, thank you for the music and constant inspiration x

Thank you Arxhitects!!! Thank you Tom
Whatever you guys had to overcome, I'm glad you did and are back stronger than ever!
Tom Searle isn't :(
indeed! :/ I was unaware about the situation and his condition that time the song was released... truly devastating news when I read Dan's statement.
Unfortunately I discovered Architects right before this album and I can’t say I’ve “followed” them through their career, and I only got to follow them for just a few months before Tom’s passing. Aaron Steinman I had the exact same experience man. I’m just glad I found them sooner rather than later you know?
At 0:35 my brain just was exploded and I had goosebumps. I think my body isn't yet ready for this GREAT album
I guess the first minute of this will replayed non-stop until the 27th.
^_^

The hype is real.
2:15 - 2:32 is why I love Architects so much.

Really looking forward to hearing what else you got to say guys, keep up such this amazing work!
Rip Tom, you were such a hard working pesron and a musical genius. you are an inspiration to others, and you are missed
I don't think anyone understands how excited I am for this album. I haven't looked forward to an album coming out as much as this in years... Thank you.
The ending is now just so much more haunting..

This series makes me tear up everytime I watch it, I might be wrong but I feel there are so many subliminal messages. Daybreaker and All our Gods will forever be my favourite albums of all time.

Sometime it washes away

Such an inspiring band. I have no words.
This track has to be released, it's absolutely immenese and I need a London tour date. Preferably the round house again!! Architects do not disappoint :)
