- I love VR. I love the Quest 2 and the Quest 3. I am in Virtual Reality for at least an hour every single day (usually much more). But, it's easy to think that VR GAMING is the biggest thing for VR users. I think there's something else. Don't get me wrong, I love the VR gaming, and wouldn't trade it for anything, but some of the best long-term experiences are in things that are NOT games (and are NOT work-related). Check just a few of the best out here:

For me some none gaming vr quest 3 moments that blew me away was watching the Blackpink concert in meta horizon vr, The ghost in the shell videos on on oculus tv, watching 3d movies, the Jurassic world blue immersive experience, and the cirque du soleil Ka VR experience.
That is something that has gotten considerably better, I've heard, in VR - concerts and live events. I'll need to check one of those out in Horizon. And some of the 8k 180 3d videos and 360 degree videos out there in vr are looking AMAZING. That's one of the reasons I love FELIX & PAUL so much. They are doing really wonderful things with VR video, including 3d 360, which is very hard to get right. Love it!
Big screen is my absolute favorite app
So many great hours of entertainment and enjoyment out of that one. Truly feels like I'm in a large movie theater, especially on the Quest 3 with the good resolution and optics!

Thanks much, and I think you'll really enjoy BIGSCREEN VR. Depending on what headset you're using, Bigscreen VR is on STEAM and on the META store - and it's free! Let me know what you think of it once you try it out.
Can you use Gravity Scale with a 3d printer? Meaning you can make something in the app and then use what you created to make a 3D Print?
You read my mind! My father has recently gotten into 3d printing as a hobby, and that got me thinking about making something in Gravity Sketch and printing it on that printer. He and I got into Gravity Sketch for a bit yesterday together, and started playing around with it in collab mode. I think it will be doable, but may need a step or two after design in GS before being able to send to printer.
I'm not a gamer by any measure, but when I got on Quest 1 back in 2020, and got to experience Burning Man 2020 in VR, (Altspace was the platform), it was life changing for me. I now have a Quest 3 and going through Steam VR to get to all the experiences. The real problem is finding them!! Thank you so much for your videos, I found you last week from your Subside video post and OH WOW, SOO GOOD!!!! I can't wait to get the full version. Brings me back to my scuba diving days!
I will definitely be giving Vader Immortal a go. I could feel the excited energy you have for it as you were talking about it and it gave me goosebumps. :D
Have you tried the Whitewater VR demo? I think you might like it.

Love this! Yeah, for me, often times it's more the experience of being somewhere "fully" (as fully as we can get right now) in VR! The games are secondary, and man, when you combine a great experience with a great game, it's just stellar! And I love that you're a SCUBA diver too - subside is just looking so great, and I can't wait as well for the full experience, whatever it ends up being. Thanks for the wonderful comment, and yeah - I get so excited by this stuff, for sure!

@jollyjulian I got my Quest 2 with the intention of using it for Microsoft Flight Simulator, but I ended up trying Skyrim VR and that's where I stayed for a long time, but recently I installed MSFS and have been loving it on Q3. I managed to get a Spitfire started from cold, I took it for a flight and managed to land it. It was absolutely superb...!
Glad to find out I'm not the only one who gets excited describing the Vader Immortal experience, it is really special.
Right now I am considering the idea of playing Outer Wilds (puzzle exploration game by Annapurna Interactive) with the VR mod, still not sure if it is a good idea since you spend most of the game maneuvering in zero-g... Have you tried this one yet?

Thanks for the comment, and yes - VADER IMMORTAL just gets me in the Star Wars feels everytime. Especially episode 1, and a good chunk of 3! Oh, and OUTER WILDS - I have played it, and it's fantastic! The mod works great, and there is a good amount of movement, so if you get at all VR sick, it might not be something to play till having worked through some other experiences to develop those VR legs, but it is such a unique gameplay experience, and in VR - fantastic! Appreciate the 700 sub shout-out as well! Have fun VR-ing!
