Well- here goes. Thank you so much for 5 years of Thrillseeker. You all have given me so much brightness and happiness in my life. I cannot wait to explore AR and VR with you all and make some crazy stuff. I have been gone from the internet for the past couple months as I have been working really hard on leveling up and figuring out where I want to go moving forward. I found it. We will explore. Together. I also have no clue how badly the channel will be hit for taking such a long break away- but no matter the damage, WE WILL REBUILD! I have a lot of crazy things to show you guys. Thank you again. Much love. Did you guys like the single topic much more in depth newsday? I quite enjoyed being able to focus and really go in depth on a single big topic. Hopefully I'll see you at Schism this weekend! You can join either from my discord, Schism's discord, or the VRChat group (description).

Congrats on 5 years! and im sure your channel will bounce back fast. we watch your videos because your love and passion for xr really shows. Nice to hear from you again!
For a developer, opening up the Quest OS to other hardware will raise new problems. Different hardware and different specs will inevitably lead to bugs that developers will need to support and fix. At present, a developer can try to reproduce a bug on quest 2 and/or 3, but this change may mean that developers will need to have access to every headset that comes out for testing. Each piece of software will also need settings to adjust graphics/processing to allow for different hardware. Basically, standalone XR goes from being development for a console to development for a PC.

Not a s SINGLE mention of Steam throughout this entire video?? BeatSaber an exclusive?? Actually wtf are you talking about lmao leaving out the entirety of Steam VR is crazy disingenuous and makes this news seem way bigger than it actually is
Thank you very much for all the 5 years of getting us great quality content, and for today's topic of discussion! As always, you bring all the good points and view from all the persepctives. Well done on all your work and success!
It's crazy that a VR News UA-camr thinks that Beat Saber is a 'Quest Exclusive" when it was launched on Steam BEFORE it was available on Occulus. And the mod versions are still easier to handle on PC than on a standalone Quest.
It's great to hear you're still motivated about this channel. I'm gonna miss the regular news, not that there's regularly alot of VR news. But I'm excited to see the new format!
Well, I'll go you one better. Not only am I still here after the break, but after watching your videos for three years, I finally decided to subscribe. I'm looking forward to many more years and all the VR exploration you've got!
I can't speak for everyone else but I'm not going anywhere and you'll always have my eyeballs 😅 the algorithm be damned! I'm happy to hear you took some time off, even if i was sad there weren't any videos. It'd rather you post when you want to and not when you feel the need to. No better VR content for the love of the game than your channel and what an amazing community. Very nice to hear you're investing even more time and effort into it by gaining knowledge about everything that goes into the industry, that's exciting for me to hear. I appreciate that very much. Much love ❤

But I watch all your videos, and have for a long time now. I love your content so much because you're one of the only people I've found who has the same mindset, hopes, and dreams regarding VR that I have. Seeing you finally upload again today was a very welcome surprise, but I'm def glad you were willing to take some time off for yourself. I also can't wait to see what you've been cooking. Congrats on the five years, I'll be here for the next five :)

Also, don't call it a comeback, you've been here for years!
Damn son, been a while. Missed ya. So you should meet with fans or let me know what club you're spinning at. I live in FL and I'd love to come listen to your set and afterwards shop talk about VR. Happy 5th my Ninja, you are the reason the Panda exists..well one of them but almost the biggest one. I came to find your channel back around 150subs and you always told us to make content, so I finally started and i tell you animating this Panda is a pain but I love doing it... so thank you
Yo! That is so sick actually what!? Also I still feel the same way. Making things is such an amazing expression. Keep going with it!
Also I have been mainly VJing at my club in VRC, Schism. Come check it out sometime. I'm usually there every other saturday (including this one)
I am hitting buttons on a controller for most of it, but I can multi task!
@@ThrillSeekerVRdo we need to get an invite somewhere for the server or can anyone join?
Happy 5 years Thrill!! I've been following you since 2019 when I heard that the original quest was a thing and "Facebook" was gonna make. This is a huge milestone for your channel!! Let's celebrate for now and here's for another 5!! Use your voice to guide the vr industry to unimaginable ways!!
@anima7or welcome to the Thrillfam then🥰
Talk about Starfish Neuroscience in your next video, Gabe Newell’s latest company. This will realise Gabe’s vision of Matrix level VR with full sensory experience and beyond.
Thank you so much for the update and all your hard work. As long as whatever you move your focus to brings you joy and happiness that is all that matters. If that happens to be continuing this journey with us, then cheers to us lucky viewers. Welcome back!
Hapyy Five Years !!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hey man, I’ve been watching your channel religiously for the past 2-3 years now and I have never failed to be impressed with your videos. Keep up the good work, and I love the new direction that you decided to take the channel in. I can’t wait to check out some of the stuff you’ve been making.
Happy 5 years!
Glad to have you back Thrill!
I was wondering what had been missing from my regular information sphere lately. Welcome back, you never fail to get me excited about VR again.
Tuesday newsday! on a tues.. wait, no. 15 minutes into wednesday (in my timezone)
🎉🎉🎉 you are back. I was missing this Videos! But I truly understand the reasons for the break and hope you will find your balance and that you can stay motivated to do UA-cam. 🙂
Wish you all the best and congrats for 5 years 🎉
Where is my meme break. I don’t like the segment that much but it feels empty without it.
So much wisdom was dropped at the end of the video. You never truely understand something until you work on it or build it yourself. You going next level
beat saber is not quest exclusive. I have it on steam.. 5:57
You are my go to and only source of vr information. You are an inspiration. I mean that literally and seriously, passion is worth pursuing because it’s passion. I can’t wait to see where this whole thing goes. You, the channel and vr as a whole :)
congratulations on 5 years!!
It's been 5 years already ? You did so much growing. Really proud of you. I'm really proud to be a part of your community.
thrill posted a Tuesday news day and on a Tuesday LETSSS GOOO!!!!!
Thank you for being such an honest and true creator. 3 years ago you inspired me to try VR and I'm so thankful for that. I've met so many amazing people in VR.
I wish you happiness in whichever direction you chose to go :)
Happy 5 years
It has been such a pleasure watching you and your channel grow and evolve over the years. Congrats on 5 years man. ❤️
What are you talking about? Beat Saber been on the steam store for years. It is in no way meta-oculus exclusive.
I always forget how this channel makes me so excited to see the future of VR in the coming months and years. Been watching for a while now, and I can't wait to see what you do next! Welcome back.
Not a s SINGLE mention of Steam throughout this entire video?? BeatSaber an exclusive?? Actually wtf are you talking about lmao leaving out the entirety of Steam VR is crazy disingenuous and makes this news seem way bigger than it actually is
Take as many breaks as you want dude. You are still the only VR channel im gonna watch, you're a real one.
Thanks for 5 years
dude sending a whole army of german swat, yes im a dad
Thank you very much for all the 5 years of getting us great quality content, and for today's topic of discussion! As always, you bring all the good points and view from all the persepctives.
Well done on all your work and success!
It's crazy that a VR News UA-camr thinks that Beat Saber is a 'Quest Exclusive" when it was launched on Steam BEFORE it was available on Occulus. And the mod versions are still easier to handle on PC than on a standalone Quest.
And thinks the quest store has more and better vr games than steam lmao. Doesn't seem like the most informed fella.
Much love ❤
honestly this has been the best tuesday all week. i have no idea where ill get my weeks worth of vr news now but i think its pretty cool thrill seekers evolving. i guess its a transition from thrill spreader to thrill maker.
I don't own a VR headset (due to finances, I wanna get one but it'll be a while longer unfortunately). In, fact I've never even once used VR.
Yo. Thanks for being yourself. That's always enough. Glad when we get to see it, also okay if that means hopping offline or into a new track. Best wishes mate. I'll look forward to your work
Gosh we missed you, you are the one who showed me how amazing VR is, congratulations on 5 years mate 🎉
I'm so glad you're back and feeling recentered. I think it's a good thing for creators to be real with their audience about their needs on a spiritual/emotional level. Thanks for all you do and happy 5 years!
Congratulations for taking a break. That’s a really good thing to do.
you've always been around but Ive never really tuned in to your videos up until now. this is awesome my man, you're officially my go-to for the latest meta vr news. I'm so excited for the future of Horizon OS, definitley going to be the Windowsof VR.
Its great to have you back. i remember when the original Quest 1 was announced and i became obsessed with everything VR including your channel. thanks for keeping us in the know for 5 years
My man, your videos instantly relax me. I don’t know why. But as soon as that intro stars, my heart rate drops like 10bpm. Nice to have you near the scary end of the school year.
Dude this is an incredible shift for you. You've got to keep evolving yourself and your channel -
Taking time off to explore yourself and your vision can be such a good idea. Glad to see it paid off, excited to join the journey with you, very inspiring
Glad to see you back! You are one of the few UA-camrs whose videos I instantly watch.
Welcome back! Nice to hear your VR perspective again, and happy you took some time for yourself as well.
Let’s prime that YT algorithm and get Thrill back into everyone’s feed.
Congratulations on the 5 years. Glad you were able to take a break. Cheers!
Awesome news about Thrillseeker Labs! Follow the passion dude! Keep up the good work and we will be along for the ride!
Thanks for all your work, I have really enjoyed your channel, your information, takes and presentation. I look forward to seeing where this goes for you. As a fellow 3D/VR creator and consumer, I feel your passion and commitment to the art. You are now a historical figure in the early days of VR, well done. Best of Luck in your future endeavors, I'll be tuning in.
Missed jamming out to the outro! Thank YOU for 5 years of awesomeness Thrill, see you in the discord!
We're glad you're still here. Thank you for valuing your metal health and taking care of yourself. Excited to see where you take us and what happens along the way.
definitely a little late but I am so happy to see your content again. I am glad you are still around showing off the wonders of my favorite gaming platform without picking sides! Thanks for the return and a wonderful video for us to watch!
Welcome back Thrill! 🎉🎉 Glad you got some time away but so glad to see a video from you!
Thank you for whenever and whatever. I always enjoy your content and consider you the creator everyone else is measured by. Happy 5th!
i've missed that outro song so much 😭

I've really respected and enjoyed your channel these last 5 years. Cheers to continuing to find excitement, purpose, and satisfaction in what you do! Looking forward to this next chapter~
Love the motorcycle bro, I have an F800 GS and love riding as well. Good to hear you're doing good, take the time you need, we (the people on the internet) will always be here.
You are one of the best VR content generators. Always top notch productions. Good to see you back!
I won't be leaving anytime soon man, your videos are great and bring me joy every time one is posted.
Welcome back mate, you've been missed but we understand: life is outside of social networks and I'm really happy to see you're enjoying it :)
Also nice R1200 you have there (even with new lights!) ;)
WOOOOOOOO I'M EXCITED TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS AND I AM SO GLAD YOU'RE BACK
The algorithm work pretty well man ! First video in my recommendation ❤❤ btw never change the outro that's fire
Everytime I half expect... "Thursday Newsday" ;)
Welcome back Thrillseeker. You do a wonderful job reporting your passion. Keep exploring while finding depth IRL.
You mention that UA-cam might punish you for the break, but I’ve been served your content for the first time ever with this video! Interesting video, looking forward to watching more :)
Hey! Happy you're back.. Even happier you did a social media detox.
Looking forward to Thrillseeker Labs.
