To be fair, most plaened parenthood buildings are in black communities, and the founder of planned parent hood said "we want to exterminate the black population"...
She brought it up because 78% of Planned Parenthoods clinics are in minority communities. Blacks make up 12% of the population, but 35% of the abortions in America. Kevin is an intelligent young man, he's the type of person one can actually have a conversation with and learn from, even if you are on opposite sides.
America really needs more than two political parties. Just looking at the young conservative and the elderly lady shows how far away their beliefs are even though they both vote for the same party.
conservative and liberal arent political parties theyre just labels even though they tend to vote similarly they're are more fitting labels but they're much more niche because politically controlled media boosted these to corruption
@@onesonofjacob I disagree, I'm not saying you cannot think for yourself when it comes to politics. But people form political parties for a reason. "slaves were taught English, they were taught, etc." - lady cage Um but like slaves weren't even considered human beings, they were treated like property. LMAO I CANT
Not all slaves were treated the same and there have been thousands of slaves over different times. Being a slave in 1860 was dramatically different from being a slave in 1760. Many slaves were taught or allowed to read, and some were even treated like family. Many male plantation owners also had relationships with one of the female slaves too. It wasn't all torture and hatred to them, despite how media may portray it. Of course it's still an awful system and part of world (not just US) history, but she doesn't necessarily have to be wrong in what she's trying to say. She's obviously not well-spoken and you're taking advantage of that rather than just trying to understand her stance/point
They weren’t even taught English unless it was vital like for a butler who could ask to carry stuff or some other specialist slave. And actually ‘black English is a disputably accepted dialect called ‘black english’ that stems from slave improvising words the didn’t know. A few examples of differences are ‘good good’ for very good or ‘cool’ and ‘hip’ which both came from black English too.
Boristien405 i definitely agree with a few of your points and i don’t disregard that some slaves were definitely treated better than others, but at the end day they were slaves. what she said has truth to it but i didn’t really like how she responded to the discussion with that argument because it kinda made it seem like she was making slavery seem less bad than it actually was.
i don’t agree with Kevin politically, but he’s very intelligent and respectful. he wasn’t scared to stand up and disagree with his side. mad respect for him.
that’s not what he said. he simply said that the man was really respectful, and well worded. intelligence and speaking experience does not depend on political views.
yes he is a moderate conservative, like many people that are conservatives, except that much media is saying there are way many more far righted people but they have no facts or survey
I'm glad that he has a voice. I've only seen from one side but what I've heard is that the radical left is only tolerant to their views and that black people aren't allowed to have a nonpopular opinion or they are shamed. Which every moderate side should disagree with.
Everyone should it's an English speaking country you can't come here and expect everybody to bend to your needs. It's an English speaking country. If you don't know it or don't plan on learning it don't come
"What's your religious beliefs on abortion?" "That has nothing to do with this conversation" 😂😂 Well said homie thank you for speaking your mind firmly
Well... It kinda was relevant because Planned Parenthood was founded on the principle of wiping out the black race and stopping procreation of blacks by targeting them. But I agree, it wasn't the question to discuss that.
@@smolgukkiekookie What I don't get is where all of you guys get these crazy beliefs from. I swear I've never seen a people believe conspiracy theories so quickly, thoughtlessly and naively as US-Americans. You guys are funny, but crazy. Literally crazy.
Her abortion question was about race, considering Margaret Sanger wanted to eradicate black people and target black communities with abortion. Which is why Kevin does still have a lot to learn.
The response questioning how we came to know Christianity in America was more ridiculous. It commits the genetic fallacy because it questions the belief based on how it came to be known rather than whether or not it is true. Also, as horrific as it sounds, if it turns out that Christianity is true, the slaves who had it forced on them and accepted it as true (including their successive familial generations) will have inherited an infinite good while suffering only finite torture.
@@mel-oo1wt Problem is you can't just bring something up without any detail and expect people to know what the hell you're talking about. She clearly didn't add any detail and it was just confusing, everyone has a lot to learn, but she could have elaborated more.
As a white conservative, I loved the whole conversation. If we keep having open discussions like this, in a peaceful manner, we will make the world a better place. No matter your political party or race!
I felt so hurt when Kevin said that he was excluded by the black community just because he was raised by white parents. I cant imagine being told by your race that you aren’t “one of them” just because non black people decided to love you
@ endm Unfortunately, it happens a lot. I wasn’t raised by white parents, but I lived in a white area for those formative years of my life. And many of my black community have shunned me or said very rude things to me, “you sound white/stop talking white”, “you’re a coon” etc etc. My mom sums it this way: “Sometimes, you’re too black for the white folks, and too white for the black folks.” One day it will change though, I know it.
@ @@sj-bg4up Thanks for the encouragement! I have surrounded myself with people who like me for me, regardless of if they are my same race or not, and it's a very refreshing experience. Be safe!
@@potmeetkettle I think you bring up an interesting perspective. I grew up with two black parents, who came from a very segregated black community and I grew up in a mostly white environment. I too got made fun of for talking "white" playing "white sports" ect.. In my college years I moved to a mostly black area and because I did not grow up the same I was seen as somehow a different race or excluded from being black. People always see my parents and because they are light they will say, well your dad or mom don't look all the way black and you speak like you're "white" therefore we have a reason to exclude you. Or "you speak 'white' and you sound boujee and so you must think you are better." It is just an interesting concept how blacks perceive other blacks and how "black" you have to somehow be in this society.
I'm a liberal but I really respected Kevin and was glad to see him in this discussion. He's someone who actually fits what Jubilee wants as in someone who can have a productive conversation with the other side.

@@capalottyslimalini2878 here we see the problem again; we judge by the stereotype. Steven Sosa Moderates in both sides NEED TO SPEAK UP MORE! For all you know she cheated her way through college. Just because someone goes to college doesn’t always mean they’re the most well rounded, eloquent, or intelligent.
He was trying to imply that black people became Christians because of their white slave owners. Christianity is not a white religion. It's really a Jewish religion and the Ethiopian bible is 800 years older than the king james bible. So African people already had Christianity.
I was so mad when she told the young conservative that they needed to educate him. Just because he's black, conservative, and he doesn't agree with you, does not mean that he isn't educated.
I think you’re right but that’s also kind of the point. It’s so folks that steer towards those views aren’t left out of the conversation and their ideas are tested. Even if the person on screen didn’t have their mind changed, someone who runs in those circles may.

conservative and liberal arent political parties theyre just labels even though they tend to vote similarly they're are more fitting labels but they're much more niche because politically controlled media boosted these to corruption
We should get RID of politcal parties. We're supposed to be united but all political parties do is the complete oppostie.

Um but like slaves weren't even considered human beings, they were treated like property. LMAO I CANT
Aliya Khan she really thought she was doin soemthing by saying that, she kept bringing it up as a defending point too
Not all slaves were treated the same and there have been thousands of slaves over different times.

Yeah.. She got me cringin' pretty hard.. Like, argh, did you really have to say that?! 🤨😂
You can tell that Kevin feels frustrated by the fact lady cage is on “his side”
he basically tried to save her every time she went off the rails lol. She was a little strange in what she was trying to express.
Did lady cage say she has a master degree , now I don't feel so bad having a GED
They picked her to try and make the Republican Party look foolish lol they didn’t have to choose her for Christ’s sake. There are plenty other intelligent black conservatives out there.
@@nmpete3365 they weren't that much aware of her specific views. All they knew was that she was black and republican, they didn't look any further than that.
Aww I love Kevin, he's so cute, genuine and very respectful
Every time Lady Cage speaks, I literally have no idea what she's trying to say.
she doesn't even know herself
she sounded like she had rocks in her mouth
Well shes a lot older and more educated than you so that makes sense.
E. Garceau just because she’s older, doesn’t mean she’s educated. She definitely didn’t sound educated in her explanations. Her points were pretty mute as well
E. Garceau I attend an Ivy League university and was valedictorian of my high school, but you tried! 🤗
Kevin repeatedly asking about Lady Cage’s qualifications got me rolling
"did you win?" 😭 I LOVE HIM BRUH
@@tresvods yessss 😂
I know!! I think she thought that he was trying to be flattering, but it was HILARIOUS!! He was definitely my favorite. “Did you go to college? “ 😂😂
The woman got a master's, ran for office, WON, and yet speaks like a fool. Amazing.
That’s scary
That's America for you. Where anyone can be anything.
For all you know she cheated her way through college. Just because someone goes to college doesn’t always mean they’re the most well rounded, eloquent, or intelligent.
@@wearewatchingyouhumans6956 the American Dream 😍
No you’re just ignorant
He was trying to imply that black people became Christians because of their white slave owners. Christianity is not a white religion. It's really a Jewish religion and the Ethiopian bible is 800 years older than the king james bible. So African people already had Christianity.
EVERYBODY was tired of lady cage , even the conservatives 😭
I was so mad when she told the young conservative that they needed to educate him. Just because he's black, conservative, and he doesn't agree with you, does not mean that he isn't educated.
@@LexV423 i don't know if it was all of those things because she's black and conservative herself.
I'm a black conservative, and true story, she made me about throw my phone lol
Tbh i did not have high hopes for this, but its aight, they were respectful and insightful at times.

I feel like with all these middle ground episodes there’s always that one person...

I think you’re right but that’s also kind of the point.
It’s so folks that steer towards those views aren’t left out of the conversation and their ideas are tested.
Even if the person on screen didn’t have their mind changed, someone who runs in those circles may.
I may not agree with his political views, but Kevin is a very well spoken and intelligent man. Bring him back
Shutup
I 100% agree with his views. He is a libertarian in the truest sense. Don’t hold back rights of any kind from any type of person. His religious belief is separate from political views which is very responsible. I don’t think he’s actually conservative just not liberal.
Erik damnnn you pisssed
@Cooper Booper yeah. i think he’s like somewhere in the middle leaning slightly towards the right
Please do
It is funny the guy basically says that white people taugh black people about Christianity, even though Christianity was in Africa way before it reached Europe.
She really was trying to dodge the answers to where African Americans were taught Christianity 💀
She was asked a straight up question and she was like, “Egyptians had religion.”
I am extremely stinky but, right 💀 like they weren’t practicing Christianity either way.
The religion of Christianity has been in Africa longer then America has existed
Toby Boddington Christianity and Catholicism are European tho early African religions were based on ancestor worship
Maya Anderson Incorrect Christianity began in Jerusalem which is the Middle East and spread to Europe and Africa
OH CHILD THE SHADE THAT YOUNG GUY IN THE WHITE SWEATER WHEN HE SAID "it shows" AHAHAHAHAH GAGGINGGGG
I was looking for this comment 😂😂
Did you catch a stroke as you were finishing typing?
@@chrisc7063 maybeeeeee but I definitely caught feelings for you hehe

Also the “did you win?” LOL
When lady cage opened her mouth my whole soul had to take a break
Chrissy Boo i had to pause the video just try and process what she was saying but i literally couldn’t
