Love seeing videos like these because of all the Toyota purists hating it since day 1 because it’s also a BMW. I have a 2023 A91 6MT and it puts a smile on my face every time I drive it.
Not gonna lie, my first 2 weeks of ownership was the wildest in terms of road presence haha. It was getting way too much attention. Now, it’s a healthy amount.
I've owned my '22 3.0 Premium for about six months now. Every time I look at it, and every time I start it up, it puts a huge grin on my face. I had a '93 Rx7 a few years back, and the Supra gives me the same happiness, but with none of the headaches my old twin turbo rotary gave me😁
We love to see it🔥😎 This car is pure enjoyment! I know exactly what you mean. My first 4 cars were Z31 (86,87,87,87) and I don’t miss things constantly breaking and not being able to enjoy the car.
Great video man! "Everything comes with time and hard work"... Preach! I'm definitely interested in a Supra. I'm gonna hold off a bit since my wife just got a 2024 X4M lol but I am a bit worried about my size and space in the Supra. I'm 5' 10 and 224lb. I was able to sit in a '23 Supra in an auto show, but I the car did not have its battery, so I was not able to adjust the seating to my linking, but I think I should be OK and fit in the car with seating properly adjusted. I'll probably shoot to get a used 2022-2024 next year, preferably with low milage.
Thanks for watching! I’ve been getting the question often recently and I’m happy to say you’ll definitely fit in the Supra. I’m 6’3” and 235 lbs. I fit just fine because I like to sit lower to the ground and really feel like in the car rather than on top of the car if that makes sense lol I’ll be making a video about this soon 👍🏾🔥
...love that nitro color. Initially, I was looking for a Red Renaissance 🚗 Supra, not a 🚕 taxi. However, I totally 😍 fell in love 💛 when I first saw the Nitro Yellow!!!
Thanks! Funny thing is I was SURE I’d go for Absolute White but I knew I wouldn’t regret Nitro Yellow when I saw it for the first time. It’s the color I first saw the car get leaked online as well.
Was thinking of trading my 2023 Lexus IS500 in for a Supra. Had a GTR in Germany but that was purchased pre inflated numbers. Sold before moving back to the USA. Not sure if it's worth trading a Japanese V8 in for a BMW B58 though.
Do it! You’ll pick up way more power than the Japanese V8 ( and I love a Lexus V8 don’t get me wrong). You’ll find yourself impressed with how much power you can gain from a simple downpipe and tune. The possibilities are as deep as your pockets lol
Should I assume you do your own maintenance? Most recommend it, but I always get curious. Also, appreciate the ownership update, what are some of the nuances and issues mechanically you've faced in the years of owning it, aside from the slippage.
Thanks for watching! Yes, I do my own maintenance aside from mount & balancing tires (plus alignment). This car is much easier to work on than expected. I strongly believe because there's more space by way of ti being an I6 vs. a V6, it's really confidence inspiring to maintenance. Oil changes, brakes, and spark plugs are such a breeze to do in this car. I can honestly say that many fear working on newer cars or just European cars and I can see why in some cases. There's a fair amount of tech in this car and I still feel very comfortable with doing mods or maintenance.Mechanically, the car is so good even at almost 50K miles! As for the slippage in 6th gear, since it's the weakest gear I really just monitor how hard I am on the car when i'm feeling motivated to go fast. Once I have the transmission built and upgrade the axles, it's something I won't worry about anymore.
@@VNGLRS That's good to know, and honestly great to hear. I saw someone showcase the ease in changing spark plugs and was appalled at how easy and fast bro was able to complete it.
Around 550 hp/600 lb.ft/tq in Ethanol flex tune and 460/555 lb.ft/tq on a 93 tune. Tune is failed back to save my transmission and axles from exploding from the high torque haha
Do u have oil consumption/ leakage problem after tune. Also will it have any trouble if i use 19inch rim which is 3.0 in my 2.0 or it will effect my psi or handling
Most 21 B58 do but to remedy this I just used Liqui Moly 5w40. No problems after that at all. The 0w20 flow rate (or lighter weight) will have you burning oil quickly. I don’t imagine using 19 OEM wheels will present an issue. They are heavier so they’ll ultimately just slow you down or affect your gas MPG.
@@VNGLRS thanks man. I asked because I’m 6’4 and I’m thinking, really hard, on getting one. But I’m a little concerned about how much space is in there for guys our size. Do you have a video specifically on that?

I’m looking to buy a 24 3.0 premium mt and hearing stories like this make me happy and confident it’ll be the right call.
