Over 1000WHP on a Stock Block MK5 Supra? Yeah...You Read that Right!

- Again, you read that title right, this car made over 1000WHP on a STOCK SHORT BLOCK on a Dynojet! Absolute beast of a car tuned by Sameh Yehia on BM3. Super cool car and is an experience every time I ride in it. Last time you guys saw this car on the channel, it had very mild bolt-ons that made it for a fun street car.
As time went on, David (IG: @dang_a91) saw how much fun we were having with our top mount Supras and of course he had to join in. Join in and outdo everyone pretty much! Make sure to check out the dyno run portion of the mods. Here it is for those too lazy to watch the entire video:

Gotta pay to play. However, car is turned down and runs on 35psi. You're pushing the limit at 40+psi of boost. It made the 1064WHP on 38psi.

@@21sausage21 I know, I hope he goes built engine soon. Those cast pistons are not meant for that, I think the rods should hold.

We have a m340 down here in Florida that is true stock block and stock cams on 7275. Made 1044 tuned by Kagan.
Love it! Seems like 7275 is the way to go to break 1000whp on a stock block with cams.

Odd question but are you or other GR Supra owners you know (we don’t have many here in U.K) getting any stones caught in the metal part under tray where the oil change port is underneath? Don’t see anyone online / forums reporting, but I seem to have a few that sometimes poke through the holes on occasion (not sure how you get these out of the one time screw removable metal tray or they will fly out themselves). Yeah I have some rocks that accumulate on there. Usually what I do is just shove a the pressure washer nozzle down in the engine bay and flush it out with water. Usually does the trick for me.

Yeah first time I got under the car, it surprised me how much rocks and dirt was on the skid plate. Give it a shot and hopefully it ends up cleaning it up!
Tons of different options to go with the car, straight line or circuit racer. The B58 and ZF8 combo is a very capable drivetrain and glad that it's getting the mainstream recognition it deserves.

Yeah it's stupid loud. Even though I have a mic in the engine bay to pick up the sound, it's still very noticeable in the passenger seat. It's loud as hell when he flies by on the highway.

What mic setup did you use for the engine bay and exhaust audio?
Thanks! DJI Mic 2 for the intake sound and it was a Shure lavalier mic for the exhaust, but it got blown out sadly.

I believe there’s 1100whp plus a91 or so, can’t remember. It was posted with dyno sheet on FB. Want to say about 5-7 months ago. Dyno sheet and dyno run. Stock block too

Always love turbo noises, but that exhaust note sounds horrible. Did your mic actually blow out making it sound like that, or is that just how it sounds naturally?
It got blown out, I plan on doing a different setup to capture it cleanly. Car sounds much better and this clip doesn’t do it justice. Stay tuned!

Is the headgasket stock? Does it have the factory seal or was the head removed?
It just has upgraded cams, but it does have stock head gaskets. Still factory sealed heads.

How much did this build cost? It has to be at least 20k in mods.
Turbo kit itself was $9-10k. Probably more than that all things considered. 100% worth it though!

I have those Rex speed carbon pieces that L shaped that goes on the top part and the lower pieces on the bottom and I haven’t put them on yet because the 3mm that comes with it sucks it’s not gonna stick , any 3mm u recommend and how did u take off the 3mm that came on it with it ?
Yeah the 3M tape that comes with those pieces usually suck. I use these and they’re crazy sticky. Be careful though when placing it because one you set it, it’s a pain in the ass to remove.

Yup, 100% stock shortblock. Only thing was added to the block were Kelford cams.

What is max speed and times? thank you
Haven't measured the times yet (60-130, 1/4 mile times). Top speed is limited by gearing which I believe is around low 180s.
