You forgot a location. The hood where the white guy comes to talk to Chauncey about the black nissan maxima. always thought it was hacienda village but i doubt it. Hope you find your way down Compton Avenue mufu##@ lol
Why do you always show pictures of the old location up close and then the new one far far away I mean why is what is the point in that
@@frankruledge1733 Because it’s google maps…..if you want to see the current locations up close the addresses are in the description for you to go visit them in person!
@@resentertainment1990 👍
Everything pretty much the same.
Imagine because of the film how many times the store owner or subsequent owners have had to listen to “whatchu you say about my momma” from customers as they walk out the store lol!!
YOO I can imagine that.
I think that couple and this store were also in malibu's most wanted
The liquor store still looks the same
Pretty much everything is exactly the same after almost 30 years
They put up some protective glass after O-Dog's robbery-homicide. That's about the only difference tho lol
I’m glad I’m not the only one who travels and research movie scene locations! Love the music selection especially the last one
I knew this was Shalamar - A Night To Remember
Every thing went from hood to suburban wow
Still the hood buddy
Watts is suburban? 😂
@@palmtrees2420 like im talm about how is nice like the houses lol so get yo dumbass on 😂🤣
@@almightymontana3865 hell naw la ain’t on shit anymore 😂😂😂
@@n0limitt__jj721 YOU MUST NOT BE FROM L.A GLORY HOLE !!!!
WE JUST HAD OVER 50 MURDERS IN 1 MONTH
cant believe the Jordan Downs projects didnt have bars on the windows back in the turbulent early 90s. The neighborhood is much safer nowadays.
@jordan4thawin most the original projects are torn down now.
@@boston312 Your right and the majority of the people don't stay in the sad areas anymore, just like almost every city now sadly
Jada got entangled with a younger man in this movie too.
😂😂
Wow went to Crenshaw High School all four years and grew up in the neighborhood and never knew the house the girl lived at who cousin killed Kane was right there on the corner. Fun fact.
Fun for who?
@@MrEXtraRaw 🤣🤣🤣. My nigga right??!!
@@MrEXtraRaw hey. Don't ruin the fun of this fact. Dis be the funnest of all the fax
@@MrEXtraRaw fun fun funnnnn
@@MrEXtraRaw D'oh boy.
LOVED THAT MOVIE AS KID ON THE WRONG PATH
Same .
This was cool. I remember seeing this in Theaters when it first dropped. This really took me back. Time waits on no one, or nobody. 70's baby here. 👊🏽🖤
its crazy just like that 30 years went by im a 90s baby and all the actors i grew up up on are in there 50s its seems so impossible
Oh yeah time is gonna go by no matter what. Well gonna die or get old thats just life. Time waits for no one. U either live your life or let it live u and pass u by its up to u what u do in the short life span we humans live
Same here bro
Wish they could of done a better job on the now pictures like up closer shots but good effort anyway.
It's a trip to realize see that store is based way up by the Wilshire district. Because in the reality with those guys based in Watts there's no way they would have traveled that far to get a 'Forty"
This is the movie that taught me to never talk about somebody's mama.
You can’t say shit but Cali is beautiful 😍 i love LA
Beautiful but surrounded by gang members and hustlers lol
SouthSide Compton Yeah thats wack foo
I lived next door as a child during the filming of this movie. From what my parents told me, the movie was filmed during the summer which is my birthday. The director felt bad that we couldn't do a birthday for my party so the director and the cast threw me a little party with a cake for me. During their filming I interrupted one of their scenes where I was being yelling from upstairs I honestly dont remember since I was 3/4 years old. The money they gave my parents they were able to move away from Cambridge street out of LA.
Lol store has bullet proof glass now around cashier after ODogg
Covid protection
Amazing, to see what it all looks like in 2020🤗🤗
Still the same basically
@@antant9360 Ony thing that looks diffrent is Ilena house
Love this movie.
Oh, and I forgot the alley that Stacy came down in his 76 rag Chevy Caprice ("raghouse") with Caine and Sharif to pick up Caine's car. That's on the 900 block of west 62nd Street near Vermont in South Central L.A. 😉
It was a '75 with a '76 front clip.
@@rcjr1371 How do you know that for sure?!
@@canibusnj Chevrolet didn't make a 1976 Caprice/Impala convertible, only hardtops. 1976 was the last year of the "Glasshouse" body style. Stacy's car was bad ass in the movie.
You didn't get Chauncey's house on the 1900 block of east Century Blvd near Grape Street and the alley besides his house where O-Dog smokes the crackhead.
This makes you appreciate tbe movie more
Crazy that this movie was filmed ALL OVER
that what I was thinking because in comparison pretty much all of Boyz'n' the Hood was filmed in a certain pocket of South Central. Before I saw this video I just assumed that Menace was filmed specifically in Watts.
Classic movie
I was wondering if he was going to walk/ drive around theses neighborhoods?
Hell no lol ...give us straight pictures lmao
@@draya.7441 haha... shoutout to the google maps guy who drove these neighborhoods.
One of my favorite movies ever
Jungle chicken at 4:09 was the best chicken and fries in the world
"I feel sorry for your muzza"
I was there the whole day watching the Jack Move scene in Long Beach, california, at a restaurant that they used to call Chubbys
U know I loved the shooter car at end in drive by
Felt like I'm watching this while in an elevator lol
Nice classic 🎬
Hurry up and watch!!!
Make more of these
I wonder how long ago Jims Jungle Chicken closed. It's on the corner of San Fernando and Hubbard in Sylmar
never understood how in the beginning of the movie two teen agers bought beer!!
i was able to buy beer at 18 it's not as uncommon as u think...lol
not proud i bought beer at 18 but i did cuz i thought it was cool
This movie was shot basically in crip neighborhoods.
@Lonnie McGuire Forreal lol
Can u do the wood too?
I did the “The Wood” ua-cam.com/video/TMnKKpxFDQY/v-deo.html
That last house by my school on Crenshaw lol
AWESOME!!!😁🎈😁🎈😁🎈😁🎈😁🎈😁🎈😁🎈😁🎈😁🎈
Hurry up and bihhhh!!!

So you bought the beer at 10:45...

I always thought they were at ted watkins park on central ave
Wow good ❤

Right...so now that you have the addresses you can go get the the live footage. 🤷🏾♂️
Props on including the old school Shalamar song in the background. They were great back in the day

Its a quote from the movie.
I live 3 blocks away from dat jungle chicken spot

Jada got 100 /1000 frames in movie now she got 20 less and there's 20 less other frames
3:27 theme tho
