Finally, somebody who knew how to play that guitar.
I have the exact same guitar. I bought it for $400 from a friend back in 1976...it sounds a lot better when you play it than when I do thought!!
An excellent demonstration of wonderful sounds from this iconic guitar - thank you so much for making the video - much appreciated.
Lovely playing.
Just the sort of guitar Les Paul might want to play, innit…
Sir Anthony Hopkins! Excellent playing and tone, I watch all these vids for the tasty playing :)
My friend sold his Granny to buy one in 1973. It cost him £ 750, a USA Tele cost £ 240 at the time. We used to go round to his house just to stare at it. One night a fist fight broke out in the band's van, when the dust settled they discovered the head had broken off during the mayhem. He got it repaired, alas he was a broken man. It was no longer perfect and he sold it. He still talks about it after all these years.
Great demo! Beautiful phrasing. You play great!
saw someone say they bought one for 400 back in the day .... I'd kill for that price point! I want this guitar so bad and it is my mission to own it... when I can justify 4K for 1 instrument!
Sounds great IMO.
The Terry Kath machine!
I had idea what the Gibson
Guitar company was
thinking of.You can't take on the road .it's a studio
guitar.Toney T. Isaiah.
Huh you should have explained that to Les Paul himself
Although my all time favorite Gibson guitar, IF you're honest about it you must admit that the days of Gibson or fender guitars ended long time ago. there are so many better guitars out there and have been the last three decades.
