I show you how to use the memory recall feature on the Sony a6300. This will allow you to be able to quickly change your video camera settings from 4k to HD 120fps by turning the mode dial on your camera. This is handy when shooting with the Sony a6300 at events where you need to be able to record in both formats.

To anybody wanting to do 4k 120fps, try moving the camera reallly slowly, and if you are filming animals tell them to move slowly aswell, then simply play back the video at 4x speed

When recording HFR footage, are you using UHS-II SD cards?
Can you still change settings from a Memory profile? (For example you went to 120fps and wanted to adjust Aperture / Shutter speed?)

awesome man! thanks! ques; what happens if you need to change the middle button to be your video record button? i'm using the a6300 in an underwater housing and need to allocate the middle button to movie mode/recording. thoughts on how to still toggle between 1 and 2 while changing that button?
Thanks for this tutorial. It saves a lot of time while out shooting. One question though, is it possible after everything is set to a memory button to use custom iso, like taking a shot of a white card? For some reason it wont let me access it.

My sony a6300 cannot do 120p in xavc s hd. It can do up to only 100p in xavc s hd. Is there something wrong with my camera? I'm from india
