Such beauties 🤩😍😍! Jacklynn is a total big stunner!🤩🤩🥰😍💖
Thanks! I love that plant haha
Nice haircut Jeff, looks good 👍
Thanks so much! You're the second person that noticed 👍
Love love love the Jacklyn
Me too! Do you have one?
I need a Jacklyn care vid! I have a mayoi!!! I get to knock Tahiti off my list?!?! Yaaaas!!!
I always look forward to your videos, Jeff. It's nice to have you back. That Jacklyn has really grown!
Nice video! Enjoyed the variety of plants.
Thanks hwilson8572
I'm a huge fan of funky leaf shapes too. Mayoi and campo are definitely on my list. If you like watching mayoi unfurl, do yourself a favor and get a Tortum. It's like watching the birth of an alien. And they are so much easier to care for than I ever imagined. I live in a super-dry climate, basically high desert in Colorado where my ambient humidity is well below 30%. I was really worried that with its fine palm-like leaf structure, it would struggle here but it never has. In fact, it's never even lost a leaf. I've repotted it twice now and it was like it never noticed only in that it's getting larger leaves each time. I absolutely love it. I am sure you will too!
The humidity where I am so very dry through the winter months as well. Thanks for watching and please check back for more!
Your selection was truly unique. Thanks for sharing Jeff!
I appreciate that!
I love the Tahiti 😊
I do too
Hi Jeff, Good morning 🌄 to you. Lovely video. The plants are all ,looking gorgeous. Have a great day. Watching your videos, brightens up my day. 😊
Thanks so much for this kind comment
@@EverythingPlants they really do. Make my days better. Your so welcome 🤗.Keep the good content coming. 💯
Love that golden dragon. I'd love to grow one!
Hi Jeff, interesting video! Love unusual shaped leaves. Have had the philodendron “mayoi” looks just like your “Tahiti” already put out two of the palmate shaped leaves and paid USD 30. So not much money for immediate gratification! (Thanks, Logees!).
That is awesome!
Very nice collection.
Thanks Nat
So pretty love your plants ❤
Thanks so much 😊
Your videos are so well done!
And your plants are so beautiful!!
I've adopted your watering habits, and my plants are doing amazing... especially my jade plant!
That is so great to hear!
I have a Thaumatophyllum spruceanum that looks like the Anthurium.
It used to be called Philodendron Goeldii before.
A friend gave me a cutting which in about eight months has given me five leaves. The largest only has six fingers and is about a quarter of the circle it'll eventually form.
Can't wait to see the plant mature, but I guess it'll take until next spring.
Interesting....thanks for that information.
I have a philodendron Goeldii, too; and at first, I thought that's what this one was. But I believe the leaves are more deeply lobed on the Goeldii.
Jacklyn was on my list for a long time. I finally bought so small plants. I never saw any as mature as yours. I am blown away.
Philo Tortum looks cool as well
I've seen a few people comment with the tortum as well. Thanks!
Yay, a new video! I love weird leaves. I really want an Alocasia Jacklyn in the future.
Question: can I rinse off all Alocasias for pest control? I've heard some don't like to get their leaves wet. I have an Alocasia Amazonica, and today I got spider mites for the first time. Six plants had to get treated, especially my Fatsia Japonica cutting I was so proud of. They're in quarantine now.
I spray all of my alocasia off for pests. I think were you run into trouble is with cold water say from like a hose.... But if you get a larger pump action spray bottle and leave it out overnight, then you'll have room temperature water and shouldn't have an issue
@@EverythingPlants thanks! I usually just pop 'em in the shower for a lukewarm 'summer rain'.
@pinstripesuitandheels I got mine from Amazon it’s a very beautiful and healthy plant 😊
I love lady bugs!!🐞
omg, I think I need an Alocasia Jaclyn in my life! I haven't seen any locally, looks like texture similar to the Australian fern
The Tahiti looks very much like the other Philodendron (bipinnatifidum?) I had one outside the house and it loved the heat in that area ♥
I really enjoyed this video. Very interesting. Thank you! 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful plants! I really want an alocasia Jacquelyn but have yet to see one near me!
Keep your eye open and the prices are much better as well
You got so many cool plants 👍🙂, and thank you so much for showing them off. 🙏❤️
Fun selection! I love finger-type leaves like the mayoi and pedatoradiatum. Each new leaf on my anthurium ped has two more fingers than the last--11 on the latest one 😮
I had a golden dragon but I recently sold it cuz I got a ph. Longilobatum which has an elongated shape. I call Camposportanaum my baby Yoda plant cuz the lobes it gets as it climbs. My fave funky shaped leaved are ph. Bob CEE, ph. Jerry Horne, and ph. Joepii. One that's on my wishlist is adenia glauca tho, it's leaves look like Mickey mouse hands 😆
Wow! That is quite the list. And thanks for the new nickname baby Yoda
Those are all extremely beautiful! You take such good care of them and they respond. My plants respond too, but not in a good way. 😞
The biggest change I have made recently is testing the pH of my water and adjusting to a slightly acidic solution
Pedatoradiatum has been high on my list for a while, will order one soon :)
You will not be disappointed!
My Alocasia Jacklyn is one of my favorites. You should look for a Alocasia Brancifolia, it has beautiful leaves similar to your Tahiti.
I will google that one...thank you!
Such an amazing collection! ~ especially impressed with the P. Tahiti...so exotic looking. I know it's all about the incredible leaf forms with the individual plants (and that is my main interest too) but I wondered Jeff, do any from your collection ever surprise you with occasional flowers/inflorescences? I understand that some aroids have very unusual flowers.
Hi Jeff, greetings from ON! Beautiful plants! I have a question regarding the lady bugs... can you still have them in your plants if already are using other beneficial insects? What is their main target as predator: thrips, spidermites, mealibugs? Thanks a bunch:)
Great question and to be honest....I'm not sure. My understanding is that lady bugs target soft bodied pests like aphids. I hope that if they find a thrip that they will snack on them haha....similar to beneficial bugs. If you use them then I would reach out to whichever company you bought them from and see what they recommend. Sorry I couldn't be of more help
My Jacklyn's leaves are all growing curled over, like they aren't coming out flat like yours... any tips? I've got it near bright light, chunky mix, i fertilize I dont over water!! 😭
You do not have a phylademdrum pink princess. I think you would like it.
Why do you always sound like you're out of breath? 😂😂😂
It's because whenever he gets a a spare moment he's always running down to the basement to organize his wonderful plants, lighting & potting table to make the very best ever videos for all of us! 🙂
I do??? 😂
Gabriella’s plants online has the Mayoi 🪴
Are they decently priced?
@@EverythingPlants yes. They have on sale right now for $30. 4” pot. If you are not familiar with them their shipping and customer service is top notch. Beautiful plants.
Steve’s Leaves is another good seller that has it as well. A little more but a little larger plant. 5.5” pot. $50.
There's an online shop here in Canada that has them for sale for $15
