Not gonna lie. New class is bringing me back to ESO. I'm gonna play the hell out of it, make builds for each role, then when I get bored again, dip out lol.
Now where have I seen portals and combo points before.... WoW it has me stumped...
Hi there, I just came across this stream and like to ask, never played this game before and the class build looks good so I purchased a plus membership in readyness. what should my priority be as a new player ready for the new class. lastly when the new class launches do you have the option to skip level building if you have a level 50 character. ? thanks in advance. R
I don't think the tentacle ability is the spammable, I'm pretty sure it's the ranged one where he flings some stuff at the enemy and generates runes. Which would make sense, the spammable being the main generator of runes and other abilities like the tentacles spend them.
I will not play this new class but i am happy for that new entry!
First question, does the armor that they are wearing in the first picture with the floating book even exist in the game? Looks incredible!
S ofar, no but it might be a new one introduced in this chapter. The Book might just be an effect, and not tied to the armor.
@@Lupinemancer87 Wasn't worried about the book, but that armor is *chef's kiss* ... That said, I haven't played the game since before necros even came into the game I don't think, haha. Still just enjoy Alcast and keeping up with the game.

Anew weapon is needed so much more. One handed and magic and spears I feel are gaping holes that need filling to open up options for pve and pvp even role players.
I would go with the alchemist weapon line with could be a 2 weapon, a wand (small staff) with a potion. Spear totaly, crossbow. (as a variant of the bow line).
But i have to say that a class was needed way much more, than weapon, and if they want, next year they can introduce a new class with recycling effect, since we will have new server. A Monk, can be easyly introduce everything is there already, and since its going to be a cheap one, just add it in the base game content!
Any word on when it's coming to PTS?

I'd like it if they added a Grimoire as a new magic based weapon so magic builds can be less rigid in choice.
Will they give us another character slot? I already have 18 toons.
I had hoped for a new skill that all classes would use. While a new class is needed and great; I worry we will just see an imbalance in class population while people all level their first ones.

No! You healers turned warden into a heal class then got necro turned into a better heal class than dps! Your not taking this one and turning it into fourth healer class. You don't need to Ron dps and tank when so much classes already bow toyou.

I am very pleased that you can advertise your wishes for eso online, and depending on how many gamers ask for something, the creator team acts. but what i always find funny is how it is then explained and presented as if it were about the holy grail

I personally do not like Warden or Necromancer.
This looks interesting, but I would have liked a Monk or Alchemist class better soo I'm probably not going to rush into the class right away.
I will however get the chapter when it's on a sale just to get class without having to buy it separately after a year...
ESO should have went this kind of class style, for example a centurion, druid, another daedra class, vampire specific class etc it would have so much potential.
I’m extremely shocked they didn’t do Druid. And daedra class would have been the one that most makes sense. I’m not sure what they are thinking half the time.
@@Ubi-o they used the class setups from elder scrolls arena thats where the warden and necro is coming from the game started development back in 2008 and it took almost 6 jears until release there are pictures from the classes from elder scrolls arena and the arcanist is also one of them if im not wrong
A druid... They would need a total rework of the warden if they does that. I really love the warden, its one of my favorite class, but it ruined 2 classes Frost mage and Druid. They schould have just gone full animal mode with a line like Beast attack (offense, like a thunderbug splash explosion) Beast transformation (defense, like cover urself of hard shell, transform an arm, into a poison debuf claw or wtv) and summon beast (support, like the netch)
Prediction: at launch the arcanist will be super OP to encourage the purchase of the DLC. Then it will be progressively nerfed down following the community's uproar.

Yup! It along with all the accompanying sets will be nerfed into the ground come the August update. As is tradition. But none of the freshly introduced bugs and balance issues will be fixed for months if not years.

They should have made that book as a new weapon, yes last class added was 4 years ago but they havent add a new weapon since the game started...

Wow a class that doest revolve around just spamming 1 2 3 4 5 for dots. I’ve been saying that esos lack of any sort of combo points or resource builder mechanics is holding back the combat for years

Unless they give us a new staff that is magic and not elemental, I'm not that excited. I've always thought it looked stupid to use and elemental staff, with completely different non-matching animations, to light attack weave with a magic class (like NB). Completely breaks the emersion. Oh, I'm a dark magic caster, but I have to use a fire staff to do optimal single target damage. Or a lightning staff to do optimal AOE damage. So, why am I a magic caster again? Just dumb.
shooting fire from a wooden pole seems pretty magical to me

While the current staves are all in fact destruction magic I do agree that we should have other versions. Using a fire staff while your whole class is green and tentacles is odd.
If they won't give us new magic weapons at least give us some VFX overlays on them. Like how they've done with recall and gather animations. For example an overlay that turns the lightning from lightning staffs into a long temtacle that envelops your target and strangles them.
I do however think we need more magicka weapons other than staves. For instance a "Foci" weapon skill line where you can use a 1-h melee weapon together with a foci such as a tome or magic orb in the other.

I have not yet returned to streaming and won't in the near future, got more important stuff to do.
I think it is a terrible idea. The game's balance problems are already a nightmare. A new class is going to mean a year or two of bipolar swings in balance and adjustment. A year from it's release it will likely be rarely played because of nerf after nerf. If they're going to add a new class, then they need to cut support for all but the latest console generation. I swear those damn things are a plague on gaming; holding it back generations. They should have made this game PC only from the get go. Game play would look like the cinematic by now if so.

Sorry but his builds are trash. They're almost the exact same across every class with the same exact armor as well as CP. He never changes things up.
