JUSTIN RAINES-NEYO SOUNDCHECK-LET'S GO played on Bass Guitar

- So I typically play "Let's Go" on keybass! But for the last show of the tour I felt it was necessary to try the song on bass guitar...the main reason was to match the aggressiveness of the distortion guitar! I'll upload a video of me playing it on keybass as well so you all can decide which is your favorite. Personally I enjoy playing both...brings out a different level of creativity!

I can watch and listen to you play everyday all day!!!
It is truly impressive that you can go from a blazing fast finger style 16th note groove to a slap groove without a massive change in volume. That kind of precision is amazing!
Thank You for noticing!
the man is a living legend.... cant forget the time i watched him live with Newbreed in kampala Uganda... it was spectacular 🎉
Sir Justin thanks always inspiring
Much love from Nigeria
You are truly an inspiration Justin! I love the way you play the bass, such a clean tone and insane chops! Also, I love your synth bass work, and if you have time after tour, i would love to hear you talk about and explain your synth bass setup and sounds🔥
Lolll I just watched the key bass version and it said to come here to compare with the bass version and the notification came up as soon as I finished watching the key bass version 😂😂😂😂😂
Talented , passionate and enjoyable to watch/ listen to. Thank you ❤
Hey,Justin. I recently started playing bass after 25 years of playing guitar. I love every minute of it. You are my number one inspiration!
God bless you!

Men, Your Sound is crazy
Hey Justin, you sounded really good. I watched a lot of your video and find out there is no click in your live audio. Do you play live without listening to click ? Or the audio is mixing from separated tracks after? Thanks
I also want to know
If you listen closely, there is a click. I just don’t need it super loud. I like for it to blend in with the music.
@@Jraines112 Thanks!! I got it
🔥🔥🔥
Hey Justin ! Thanks for sharing ! You really make one wanna get up and practice ! Question, if you don’t mind : Do you always keep your right thumb on the top string during finger style , even when going down to the bottom strings ? Thanks and keep up the good work !😊👍🏼🎸🙏🏻
Thanks for your comment! Yes, my thumb typically stays on the top string. It’s become a habit over the years and an anchor for me. Plus my hands are pretty large.
@@Jraines112 Got it ! Thank you so much for your reply ! ! 👍🏼🎸
When I started playing bass I had this nice slap bass, then I stopped slapping after getting a muted bass.
Now I honestly miss this sound, after watching you with Scott I realized how much the slap technique takes 😢😂
Much love bro
Great job bro
Thanks
Hi Justin... Howd u set your action? Low, medium high or high? Thanks
Love how you overplay but it doesn't sound overplayed. It only sounds *better*
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
This is something I learned watching Justin Play - doing “a lot” but still maintaining the grove and foundation. It’s about playing around in the spaces and hitting the ‘foundation hits/notes’ precisely. Coming back in the grove on time - always. Only take liberties moving (runs/fill) across measures (or across chord changes) when it doesn’t retard the grove…I play gospel like this. You’re the man Justin.
One of these days I’ll be able to afford a Saratoga 5
I must have watched this a hundred tmes..😅
🔥 🔥
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
yasssss
Justin do you still use Labella strings?
Yes
what synth bass is that?
Moog Voyager! Check out my rig breakdown on my page.
👋👋👋
what is the eq fore this one :o
My bass is going direct to a passive radial DI. The EQ is flat.
@@Jraines112 ah love it man !!
🤯
Do I understand this correctly that this is the sound direct to the bord and to the PA? No dedicated bass amp, no EQ or anything?
