Subaru Head Gasket choice

There are so many choices for head Gaskets, from cheaper to expensive. Hopefully the head gaskets I chose will work out for me. I called the first gasket a Fram when i meant Fel-Pro gasket,

never heard of a Fram head gasket, they look like fel-Pro multi-layer to me, yes I agree with you that multi-layer is the way to go.

Yes it is Fel-pro, I had Fram on my brain. Multi-layer for Subaru's are a must. Thanks Bud.

I've done HG on 2 Subarus and I think the Felpro MLS steel are the way to go. I put 150K on one set and I have 40k on the most recent one. No leaks.
I did not replace the head bolts as Subaru recommends. Me and most others think it's unnecessary.

Yes I believe the Felpro MLS are pretty good. I will give the ITM MLS a try. I've used ITM on other engines with no problems.

Subaru still makes single layer coated head gaskets why don’t know there junk.

I was told that Multilayer is the way to go. Not sure which one is better.
