Yeahhhhh!!! Had no idea you were teaching this riff! Glad to see so many people like it. It's definitely my homage to Nuno Bettencourt, as he is my all time favourite player. But what I love is when you combine the way Rob learned it and the way I wrote it, it sounds nice and full so I can't wait to show You all on tour!
Oh my god I've been practicing guitar a lot lately and I was actually able to copy what you did and play the riff at the end of the video. Kinda proud right now. Didn't believe I could do it.
That's a great riff, but my god, what a beautiful looking guitar, the red body, infinity thingy, the signature on the head and the hardware. I may one day have to buy one of these...
I think I speak for many when I thank you for finally teaching us this. It's been showing up in videos for months (maybe a year?) and though it was so badass. Very exited for more Dorje!
Thank the lord Jesus I've been obsessed with this rift and I tried learning it by ear, came sorta close but glad to know there's a tutorial by the maker himself. Well really Rabea but Ya know. Thanks a lot Rob chapman!
Greeting from Upstate N.Y., I have family in wales gotta go see them and one of your shows!!! Killer Riff always wondered how you played it thanks for giving us some of you magic Chappers!!
Yay another tour! How great! Looks like us folks on the Western Hemisphere are still waiting for Dörje to become big and famous enough to do a world tour hahaha
Become a huge Dorje fan recently. .love the Andertons demos...and everyone in the band are super good dudes..rabea definitely has a lot of Nuno in him...The N4 fits...Cheers guys...keep the UA-cam vids coming because I don't see me making it to England anytime soon
Rob Chapman Had an epic summer just gone, discovered yourself and Andertons, even took a million mile drive just to check the place out! Will give this riff a shot over the weekend and if I can get it down I'll upload my attempt haha.
I've been trying to figure this out for a while! I even posted on a few vids a while back asking if anyone has worked it out exactly. It's a great riff!! Can't wait to get home to try!! Thanks!!
Really nice video Rob. I've had some trouble playing it the "Rabea way" (to small hands), nice to see a different way to play it. Btw! Got my ML3m a few weeks ago, it's a really good guitar!! Greetings from Sweden!
Hey rob you are my fav guitarist and i cant wait to come see you guys at Audio in Glasgow. I would love to meet you guys and i bought my friend a ticket for his birthday (its just a not ma l ticket) and is there anyway we could meet you guys before or after the gig?? Cheers rob your a great insparation to me :-) thank you
Hey Rob, Is White Dove available for download? Totally love the riff and want to hear more. It would be great to download and jam along with the track.
I wish I could come see you guys live but sadly I live in America. Could you do something like this for Holy Fire please? And is this standard tuning or drop c? I'm not very great at picking up on these things
Hey Rob! I want to come and see Dorje at the Audio in Glasgow, but I'm only 15. Was wondering if you'd know if I'd be able to get into the gig? Thanks :)
Great video, Rob! And great job of Rabea for writing the riff! Where can I download this song? I can't find it on iTunes or any CD on Amazon. I really like the production of the work of Dorje (I'm studying audio engineering in university), and I would love to buy some high quality recording of this song and other songs! A reply would be appreciated! \m/ cheers \m/
hahaha i remember at one point there was a video where you challenged people to try to learn the riff and submit video responses of them playing it. I ended up getting the riff down but being too lazy to make the video response lol. Cool video anyway, thanks for the great music!
When college is shit(most days) and the weathers shit and you can't ride your motorbike cuz it's not sunny-Coventry atm :'( to come home to a vid from you, especially a lesson vid is a great pick-me-up. Been practicing the riff and if I could send you a vid I would. Keep bringin out the vids and tones, your epic and I'll see the dreads, Fro and Bens beard(if he grows it back) at Alfie Birds in March \m/ Brett.
Reading through the comments, YES - it does have the UFO/Schenker vibe, great riff! Btw, Rob, any chance you'll make a guitar with a "normal" headstock? Love what you've done so far, just not a fan of the upside down headstock...
Yeahhhhh!!!
Had no idea you were teaching this riff! Glad to see so many people like it. It's definitely my homage to Nuno Bettencourt, as he is my all time favourite player.

You all on tour!
It's a kickass riff! When I first heard it I thought ''Damn, that sounds like Nuno. Definitely Bea's riff''.
Omg bea, pls you are the god of the six string!
iiii don't know... doesn't sound right. Missing some bits.
Yeah definitely has that shred insertion moment of Nuno. I see it as the Planet Claire (B52's) riff in hyperdrive.
nice size riff bea
Oh my god I've been practicing guitar a lot lately and I was actually able to copy what you did and play the riff at the end of the video. Kinda proud right now. Didn't believe I could do it.

I think I speak for many when I thank you for finally teaching us this. It's been showing up in videos for months (maybe a year?) and though it was so badass. Very exited for more Dorje!

Greeting from Upstate N.Y., I have family in wales gotta go see them and one of your shows!!! Killer Riff always wondered how you played it thanks for giving us some of you magic Chappers!!
