Spiritbox’s debut album charted higher than any other metal band’s debut record in over 30 years. Wild accomplishment for my dude Mike, the guitarist/composer, as well the writer of all the instrumentation.

Evanescence is a big inspiration for Courtney. She actually got to interview Amy for Revolver about their album that was released while Spiritbox was in the process of recording this album. Another band I highly recommend based on what you mentioned about your background is Jinjer. Vortex would be my song pick to start, but most people begin with Pisces live session which they actually made to show off their newest and current drummer Vlad.
Spiritbox are something very special. Ironically, they became my favorite band after I saw them open for my favorite band. And then UA-cam suggested Sleep Token to me based on my listening to SB, and now ST has taken over my life. Basically, Spiritbox and Sleep Token are my heart and soul.
Awesome band! You're dead on lol, it's hard not to hear the similarities to Evanescence! There are so many good songs from them, check out their songs "Blessed Be" + "Eternal Blue"!
