I think this is one of the best ways to open an album. Courtney has such a haunting and atmospheric voice at the beginning that it gives me chills. I get that it's not everyones cup of tea and it did take me a couple of listens but this is easily one of my top 3 on the album. Cheers for checking it out! This is a great intro track for Eternal Blue. These are some of my favorite clean vocals from Courtney outside of Trust Fall. The ending of this song drops right into Hurt You perfectly also.
I love when they begin their shows with this song ,although they are not doing it very often, Courtney said it was the hardest song to sing live, so u guys who heard it live are so fortunate
Best example of a song building tension and then paying it off with the release. Such a simple song, but yet so satisfying. Courtney sounds so good on this too. Not that she ever doesn't, but this really hits me somewhere special.

Even though this album is a more mainstream/metalcore sound than I prefer, this is a pretty sick opening song

This one is a slow burn... the first time I listened to it I was a little WTF? but after some more listenings it's become one of my Spiritbox top songs...
Helll yeah. I need more Spiritbox! 🤘🏼🤬 They’re intoxicating. Gotta do “The Beauty of Suffering” eventually and don’t forget the title track for this album “Eternal Blue” ✌🏼😆
Its been their opener the last few times ive seen them, just absolutely solid production and those layers. Dan Braunstein really has done a great job in understanding what works for them. Side note: We gotta catch up man and grab a beer and talk music its been way too long.
Sun Killer definitely works best as an album intro rather than a standalone song... but what an intro to an amazing album! This is easily in my all-time top five album openers.
The clean vocals dont seem to gel well together at all to me throughout the first half of the song, it sounds like she was singing to no music or a different song & they just threw it in a random different one

I got to see them open for Ghost, before that i had never heard of Spirit Box. They are Amazing live, i was very impressed.

I love how the breakdown hits a beat ahead of where you expect given the build up, just that little bit to catch you off guard.
