Dunno why everyone's saying blue, when he's already got a blue Troopy down under. We've seen enough green Troopy's as well. I think the orange like the dream tourer will look awesome.

Orange seems to be making a come back. Especially when looking at the long history the color has had with Toyota over the decades.

My heart says an Orange Raptor bedliner paint with a dark slate blue trim.
Added strength and jut the right uniqueness that helps with getting and keeping attention for your audience and potential new audiences as you drive around.

I think I'm with Paul and the painter, highlighter pink is the way to go! (in all seriousness, I like the green a bit more, but it's way too close to the Aussie Troopy, so go with the blue)
Both of those colors are very nice. How about totally different, like an orange. I'm painting my HJ45 Toyota Olive Green 653. Used to have a Jeep painted in zebra stripes (did it myself). Damn thing had an agent and would be used in photo shoots! Thought about it for the HJ, except instead of black stripes over white, Coyote Brown stripes over desert tan. But the Olive Green 653 is too beautiful to pass up. Anyway, I lean more towards the green.

I went to the Toyota garage to check their 1 million kilometers LC exhibition. Awesome to see that the wear was mostly on the couches and carpeting. Most were mining vehicles, but even some LC200's were there. Loved it.
On the 0:55 mark is a beautiful yellow. That yellow!

Hi Andrew, I have only recently found this video series and it’s been great to watch. I’m in the UK, I drive a Disco 1 and I work on Land Rovers occasionally. I did a rebuild on an LC79 V8 (2009) that belongs to a friend locally, it came in from Australia a few years ago. We had ours painted in Toyota Atlantic Blue (from UN white!) Loving the series of videos! Keep up the good work

There is an orange and black wrapped Troopy not far from where I live. Its eye-catching but a bit garish for me.

Both are great colours imo. The white roof is pretty and practical. You’ve had greens (two I think). I’d go blue for change.
White roof practical? You mean for the sun? Recent myth busting research has proven that there is no difference in heat take up between white or black. Not truly a surprise as you see that people in hot countries don't have white as a preferred color.
Must say i have loved all the colours you have done but it would be nice to see a different one and the blue does look amazing

My grey hilux is horrible in that regard.
Cadet Blue would be my choice. I am not a green fan, but I do like the green you showed. It shows more lively. The Cadet Blue is a bit dull compared and I find it more grey then blue. I know I am not much help either. But the Cadet Blue is. more suitable for the old LC. The green is better for the Troopy. So green it should be.
The logical thing to do is go for green. It shouldn't cause confusion. It just say's that when Andrew has a Troopy he has it in green. If you really feel you need something different then a bold move would be SAS pink, it'll definitely get you some attention.

For me, I've always loved the Maroon colour on these beauties. Just stands out from the rest.
Both the blue and green are very nice thats a tough choice. I wonder how a 2 tone would look, like you see some with white roofs or maybe a different color along the bottom of some sort it would be very unique with a 2 tone. Even some sort of graphics like some sort of vintage toyota graphic down the sides but tailored to fit the troopy might be neat. I'm more of a solid color type guy but its always good to look into different options that always leads me to new ideas. I really like that green but the blue is also wonderful. Either one will look fantastic. Something as small as a properly placed pinstripe can really change the look of a vehicle for the better. I really enjoy doing those small details.
How about using his logo 4xO having black lower fading out to Orange with white outlined 4XO at an angle nice and big 😊

Imagine flipping it a bit with a strong orange then doing some accents or striping in a mat slate blue or even a olive drop green line at the lower section where black normally goes 🟧 🟩

Given the Car is called Mr Colin Der (Colander) it can also be called Mr C. Der (Cedar) so therefore a Colour that Matches the Timber would be Appropriate.

Like the green you did back then, i would like to see a new 1st. Something partially retro, partially modern. Not necessarily stylish, can be Suzuki Jimny cool.

Make it multi coloured, each panel a different colour, you have many moods and personalities as we all do , so having a multi coloured one is certainly different, go on I dare you , you don’t run from a challenge usually.
Yes! Saw a lifted Harlequin Hilu at a meet a few months back and it looked BRILLIANT, each panel a different colour

Colours in Australia look completely different in other countries. Maybe Chile comes close.

But now you know how to spell chassis and there is some wonderful town in France called Chassy. Merci mon ami...merci beaucoup.

I don't mind the blue Andrew it is nice, but there's just something about the green I just can't put my finger on. For me the green, sorry mate. White won't show the scratches as much the blue would show the scratches something fierce unless you did a blue primer few of my friends have bright yellow jeeps over here in the US and believe it or not the yellow does not show the scratches anything like I've ever seen white and silver are good too My Jeep is blue and you can see the scratches
