Currently dealing with this with my partner of 20years,we have 3 kids together. I'm hard working, loyal and am an open book to her. Sick of being stonewalled and getting silent treatment for no reason. When I try to calmly have any form of deep conversation with her about it I get attacked and made to think I'm the problem. Shows zero empathy or self reflection and refuses to think she does anything wrong. Very challenging to deal with. Be careful choosing your partners

It's hard to leave when children are involved but generally advisable as the tension among partners can sometimes be more damaging than what dividing the family does.

The pseudo personality of the narc lies, denies, cheats and covers inferiority with grandiosity, pointing this behaviour out can bring vengence upon you.. when they get caught cheating, it is to be celebrated as this can be the easiest/safest way to exit the relationship.. occ sis

Clay, yes she is a narcissist. No, you have done nothing wrong. Clay, you could not have made this story up. It did happen, Narcissists are out there, male and female. They often make their way into MGMT/supervisory roles. Unfortunately narcissists also need to enter into relationships... Thank you for approaching this subject. Finally, if anyone out there meets a narcissist, keep at arms length, ignore or best of all run... for your life. Once again, thanks Clay.

Maybe a very early stage - definitely gaslighting involved. The narcissist usually love bombs, then acts passive aggressively, gaslights and then sadly the victim gets eaten for supply which is what they live to do (the fuel) after the victim is attached and narcissists do these things with no empathy whatsoever - it’s really sad because it could have occurred (their cause and original scar) from them being themselves a victim or naturally - they make great politicians and lawyers obviously. Best advice is to run and do what you have, I’ve unfortunately known so many. Thanks for the story and enjoy listening to your experiences 👍

Narcissist and sociopath are the same thing (but there are 'professionals' who say not) and their inability to question their own behaviour or admit their fault are the easiest way to identify them. No matter the cost just walk away, is my advice.

I think the best distinction I've heard is that a narcissist reacts and a sociopath/psychopath premeditates. I think narcissists are the byproduct of unfortunate circumstances, the culture, and perhaps some of their DNA, but I suspect psychopaths are just born and have no ability to empathize, and navigate the world accordingly.

Ello ello bro..that's one thing I never did was have a filter 😂, Ill say it makes you look fat or dosnt suit you, I dont care who you are Ill speak freely to a male or female, my whole family is shameless and filterless😂.
I dated a shelia years ago now Emily in wellington I met her at a Halloween party, in those years I was Extremely Vampyric and drank blood,. She was a cutter so I had free blood on tap so to speak.
Anyways we ended up dating and whilst I was working and shouting drinks etc she was amazing,
The minute she got a job at Dream Girls a brothel and she started making more money then me she changed..
I never slept with her ever I had no attraction and she did sex for a job so not thanks.
But she got evil,.told me noone wanted me around,.told me to off myself, she went from this fun goth chick to this evil crazy shelia.
I tell I've never dated since that and never will again,.she almost drove me to something worse then Suicide.
I was already in a bad headspace then and that almost pushed me over the edge.
Nowadays Im living my best life happily single.
Leone and Emily and others like that dont understand the damage they can cause men,
    Much love mate

Dam bro. That's a hell of a way to get put off women. Vampire drinking blood and she was a cutter...sounds like a symbiotic relationship of sorts. There are some beautiful caring women out there bro. You have to trust yourself, not the woman. Get involved with another and trust yourself if it goes wrong that you will take care of yourself and be OK.

@@thebrocheckclub1777 Gotcha. That's def going to be a factor. The part I found interesting about your story was when you talked about Leonie and the nice meal and night you had together before everything came back to a confusing and challenging muddle. It reminded me of how interactions with our anima projected onto woman in the world can be pretty profound and beautiful and leave strong lasting impressions. It also reminds me how it is challenging projecting this inner archetype onto woman we know and interact with in the world, who may fulfil certain aspects but struggle in others, and how there can be a real instability in such a process of anima projection being maintained long-term and vice-versa for us them and the animus our inner masculine women project upon us. Connecting deeply with our anima in our dreams can be very fulfilling. It reminds me of the story of the Helen of Troy and how men set out and go to war over her, and aspects of Aphrodite, the divine feminine being projected by men onto physical woman and how we can blindly chase after them in the world, and not grasp the anima internally in our inner spiritual world.

    • @MossyBoy44
      @MossyBoy44 Місяць тому

I chatted to chat gpt about the above paragraph --
You've touched on some good points. The anima and animus projections onto people in the world, especially those we form close connections with, can indeed be both beautiful and destabilizing. The anima, when projected, can illuminate qualities of vulnerability, creativity, and receptivity in others, leading to moments of deep connection like the one you described with Leonie. These moments can feel transformative, as if something transcendent is being shared.
However, as you pointed out, the projection is not stable-it can shift, revealing contradictions or bringing confusion. The anima or animus may fulfill certain needs or desires but fail to completely embody the idealized qualities we project onto them. This dissonance can lead to disillusionment, particularly when expectations are unmet or when we expect others to fulfill these deeper, archetypal roles.
Your reference to Helen of Troy is powerful as well. The way she was idealized and projected onto, sparking immense conflict, illustrates how the anima, as a collective archetype, can be externalized in ways that obscure its true meaning. Instead of cultivating the anima within-the feminine principle as an inner force guiding us toward creativity, intuition, and spiritual growth-many men in mythology, as well as in modern life, project these qualities onto physical women. The outer chase for the ideal can mask the need for the inner work of integrating the anima and connecting with the divine feminine within.
In dreams, however, the anima offers us an opportunity to confront and integrate those projections, allowing us to connect more fully with this powerful inner archetype. When we work consciously with these dreams, rather than chasing the external, we gain access to deeper wisdom and a sense of oneness with the flow of life.
