A lean mean living machine. Well done Clay. What you are doing has obviously worked for you.
    Yeah, dogs know, eh :)
I carry more weight than you, not too bad but too much. My bloods are alway super good. I eat meat when I can afford it but more often it's near one meal a day homemade pizzas with a bit of processed meats and a binge every few weeks when I've done a shop. So according to my intake I should be more like you, the difference seems mainly to be exercise (& the binges! lol ). Injuries are mainly responsible for a lack of my exercise. My knee has been painful too but that's just one joint. I've hammered just about every one in my body over my life, now they reject me! :)
Another very good thing about dropping weight is the reduced impact on your joints.
Hope your knee comes right soon, mate. Maybe the warmer weather will help.

@@thebrocheckclub1777 Hi Clay, Yes walking sticks are great I have at least two sets and I used to use them all the time. I first started using them in Germany getting up and down all of those beautiful mountains with my dog. Come to think of it, I still hit distance limits too easily back then too, even with my beaut German boots. I used to walk lots and fast when I was young, I was the one bouncing along boulders around people on tramps or taking the direct route down hills rock hopping with a 50L pack and fast feet and fast reactions. I guess all of those times and the many sprains (none by doing the above!) have taken their toll. No, it's not just knees unfortunately :) I will take your advice though and get the sticks out and try to do a bit more walking. I've got a collapsible set of Salomons.

Congrats on your progress and acknowledging science.
I have been plant based for over 9 years now and I will never look back, I hunted for many years possums pigs deer you name it if it moved it was on the menu lol.
I still love the outdoors life and just chose some different hobbies to give me reason to continue bush bashing and getting out into the wilderness, then I realised I enjoyed the outdoors regardless, the smell of smoke from a campfire to hunkering down somewhere for the night and waking to a tranquil morning in the middle of nowhere is highly underrated in my opinion.
I heard a saying once that kind of resonates towards change and not wanting to change it goes like this...
People love hearng good things about their bad habbits.

Afternoon clay well mate you showed them all you proved them wrong and rewrote the medical book on that one buddy. They should be asking you how did you do it and invite you in to explain exactly what you did I know it probably wouldn’t work for everyone but at least it’s worth having a go . Well done clay for not giving up and listening to so call experts and doing your own research and talking to your good friend the doctor. The place would be very lonely with out you and all the young men that you help wouldn’t have a great mentor like you to help them through life and all of your followers would also miss everything that you put out there. You are very much appreciated clay . So well done again for reversing what you had when they said it couldn’t be done. 🙏 clay 🤠 Colin 🤩🫶👏

    Hi fella,
I commented a long time ago on one of your other vids about how my stamina and body pains went away when i started a 90% whole foods plant based diet when you were on keto and you said, im glad you found what works for you. The funny thing is it works for anyone! I reintroduced what i call government meat, supermarket meat like chicken, pork and beef and the pains return and i dont feel as good.
I believe the answers are always found in nature.
Example, a chimps diet is about 4% meat from either monkey or fish. Now im not saying we should start catching and eating other humans lol, but use this knowledge in a practical way.
Remember 4% of meat in the diet and this will provide every single nutrient and vitamin that a 100% plant base diet lacks, so no supplements required.
I also personally feel better eating small things like sardines or hearing or piper and shell fish and every now and then wild venison. I reckon that will work for anyone if they give it a try. I have watched nutritional videos for 10+ years and every conclusion is the same. Eat fresh fruit and vegetables and whole foods and always remember how good legumes are. Basically the real Mediterranean diet and you will feel the difference. All the best with the reverse journey. Plants will fix you!

Good on you! Been plant based for a few years now and never felt better. If you look at people who have ate whole food plant based diets for years then other who consume flesh regular then the answer stares you in the face ( just like your picture ) Comercialy farmed animals are fed processed food and are injected with who knows what. If we were meant to eat meat then we would be salavating and licking our bloody fingers when we gutt and skin animals but naturaly most are repulsed by it and have never done such tasks with a knife nevermind their teeth but still go about beating their chests and calling themselves carnivores and cavemen. Each to their own but bare in mind we have all been deceived on many levels and the his-story of food and diet we are fed is no different.

    I was vegan 5 years. Gained 12kg.
Issues... low energy, exercise intolerance, horrible chronic pain, brain fog, cognition issues, brittle and dry hair, skin, nails, lumpy inflamed body all over, swollen feet and fingers, psoriasis, sore inflamed gums, sensitive teeth, bloating, frequent rushes to the toilet, irritiable bladder, thyroid issues, stiffness, reoccurring viruses (high arginine can trigger any of the 9 herpes viruses including epstein barr).... theres probably more but I forget.
Introduced eggs, fish, chicken... some improvement in some areas. Then went pretty much carnivore, lost 5 kg in 5 weeks and eliminated my chronic pain and issues.... very rapidly.
I do eat some plants now but the majority Ive tried flare my issues so I keep the variety to the few I tolerate.
Oh also have reversed much of my grey hair and horrid episodes of scalp pain..

Hey bro. I am guessing you did not watch the full video ? Yes it did do some of those things but the main thing it did was save my life. I was at end stage coronary artery disease and could not walk up a hill 100 mtrs with out crippling chest pain. Also I have increased not only my muscle mass but my strength. Back there I could not even do one pull up. Now I can do 12. But yes, I have aged, disease does that and I developed coronary artery disease while doing one meal a day on a keto-vore diet. I also have cancer in remission as well as coronary artery disease so I don't mind a few more lines on my face if my coronary arteries are more open and the blood if flowing again.

Looking good m8 but watch out for sacropenia -age related muscle wasting - while u appear to have leaned up us blokes loose circa 10% every 5 or 10 years?
Over 50 we need 1.6gms of protein per kg and thats very hard to do without throwing 1-2 protein shakes into the mix ( i believe there are a few plant based ones now though whey isolate ( dairy) stimulates gr8er muscle growth.
I'd also get on 5gms of creatine monohydratecif ur not doing so already- it clearly helps as a metabolic aid to an ageing bod.

Critical point and I should have raised that in this vlog. For the last 6 months I have started resistance training for that reason and use a protein powder on the days I feel I have not reached my 100 gms per day. At 60kg that is just over the recommended daily amount. 5 gr of creatine is my daily amount. Cheers.

If what I hear is true, meat has never been the problem, it's vegetable oils, particularly the seed derived ones, except olive oil. Imagine in pre-history all those cave paintings from all around the world. Ever seen that rock art showing plants and vegetables or a salad? Natural meat that hasn't been fiddled with by big business is good for you. Another issue is fat, now I'm overweight, but every single ounce of fat on me is human fat, not pork fat or beef fat, only human fat. It seems to me our digestive system doesn't process much of the animal fat we consume, it just chucks most of it out the tail pipe, it's the carbohydrates we consume that the digestive system converts into human fat with great efficiency. So fry your chips in lard, you know it makes sense. 😉

I love meat more than anyone else I know bro. And there is nothing wrong with eating it in moderation if you do not have a disease process. The point is that a whole food plant-based diet is the only diet proven to halt and even reverse coronary artery disease. There are over 200 papers that I could cite. I don't eat refined carbs, only complex ones like sweet potato, silver beet, beans, legumes, kale, cauliflower, mushrooms, steal oats etc.

@@Innerlight320 Clay's understanding of heart disease relates to potential heart attack from blocked circulation, in UK survival rate for heart attack has been about 80% for more than 30 years. I have totally different heart disorders, the survival rate for my situation has recently risen to about 7.5%. Clay and I have something very important in common- POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE! I'm 100% convinced that our mental attitude has a massive effect on our health. For example, military basic training for a combat soldier tests mental strength far better than physical strength.
