The mental image of Sseth sleeping, hearing a murder report in the police scanner, his eyes snapping open, sprinting to the window and sailing to the street below before dashing through the streets while chugging a coffee had me cry laughing. I love this game.

Need to get back the Shadow of Doubt played it a lot a year or so ago (had a bug where the current killer would not kill after the first victim).
and the coffee chugging I admit I committed to be fair I played on the largest posible map size before the map preview/geneation that had a habit ot generating some really bad street layouts.

my favorite experience in this game was the time where i responded to a crime in a womans bathroom, and somehow, the woman who ran away from the crime scene, screaming, who had a knife on her, who had blood on her, and who immediately got beat up by the police, was not the killer
honestly that's very realistic
I had a similar experience. I went to a house to find out about a person connected to a murder victim. Spoke to their partner. Partner said "Levin is here right now!"
I bribed them to come in, and saw the cadaver of this "Levin" on the floor. Given this was the third murder, I was floored. I investigated, then called the police.
When they came, the guy whipped out a revolver (AKA the same sort of weapon that killed the victim) and started shooting. I snuck up behind him and handcuffed him. Tried to arrest him, but it didn't work.
Turns out it was just the AI not caring that the roommate of the individual had died, and the guy was just upset at the police barging in. |:
