You have to understand Kody has a rock band called canned by nod and this country group, his band plays with him in both. The only thing I don't like about Cody jinks country music is a lot of it is sung in metaphors a lot like Bob seger. But he's a great band singer
I haven't listened to a lot of Cody Jinks, but what I have heard was good. I don't think this performance setting was a good showcase for his music. The music just overpowered the whole performance. I would suggest you do "Chris Stapleton - White Horse (2023 CMA performance). He is a master of using music to enhance the performance and not overshadow it.
