One of my all time favorite songs, by any artist ever. The line is actually "What gives you the right to tell me my business? Good God man, you're out of your mind." Seeing him sing this live at the Ryman a few years back was an experience I'll never forget!

Jinks is the best out there right now. Been on the Jinks train since he was playing at small bars. Very talented singer/songwriter to say the least.

Thanks for the request. Cody is such a good singer/songwriter. His album 'Adobe Sessions', which that song is off, is such a great album. The song to me tells Cody's philosophy on life of not judging others based on their actions or beliefs. In the first verse, what I think he is saying is he tries to live a good honest life but sometimes falls short and crosses the line. In the second verse he is admitting he is not the devoted person when it comes to religion but he tries to live right and not harm anyone. That line from the chorus you like "you must be out of your mind" is his response to people who judge others based on their own beliefs. Thanks Don for your reaction

Cody Jinks is just the man. Guys a true artist, he's himself and you can tell he's comfortable in his skin. He's just got that it factor but the empty suits in Nashville somehow all struggle with recognizing talent like I struggle trying to speak Spanglish to a Mexican.
Holding it down for Haltom City and resprrsenting Cowtown in a big way. And this is my favorite song of his.
I don't listen to mainstream country anymore at all but i was channel surfing last week and saw Monday Night Raw was at a sold out crowd of 16,000 in Dallas. And within 10 seconds they showed the front row and Corey Graves said we're excited to have Cody Jinks in the house with us tonight, enjoying the show with his family. As they zoomed in on him for a good 10 seconds with a graphic of a WWE logo and the name 'Cody Jinks' plasterd on the screen. I was really surprised actually bc I had no idea he is that well known. Although I did hear him a cpl years ago on Stone Colds podcast and Steve was obviously a big fan.
Man, the Codys, Jinks and Johnson have to be the best celebrity representatives holding it down for a city/state anywhere in America. Hell, nowadays i have a hard time finding a celebrity guest on TV that doesn't make me want to puke let alone say 'F yeah!'
