@@sheilaakridge4944 His concert at Red Rocks and Ryan Bingham at Telluride are full concerts that should blow your mind. And if they don’t, then you suck. Not you Shiela, the “collective you”. 😂😂😂 Based on this one recommendation alone I would trust you completely to make a kick ass play list.
Usually the difference is the broad modal playing in jazz. Blues tends to stick pretty tightly to minor pentatonic scale, and over a pretty basic/diatonic chord progression. Jazz throws that structure out the window. - Keith
Blues generally consists of coherent songs while jazz is musical masturbation. Cody is Awesome and has a great rendition of Wish You Were Here. @@BourbonCountryReacts
Cody is totally independent. It’s funny you mentioned Pink Floyd. Cody and Chris (lead guitar) both started in heavy metal bands. And they do a cover of Wish You Were Here. Also Cody’s band call themselves the Tone Deaf Hippies which I thought was funny.
I would label this sound as what they call Texas Swing. Not my favorite form of Country Music(well except for Bob Wills) but exceedingly better than Jazz, which is one of those dead genres of music that I too don't care for.
one of the best new artists out now.Last time I got to see him was this show 10000 screaming fans, first time I saw him was small club maybe 300 people glad to see him succeed but miss the days when he could BS with his fans after the show
Loud and heavy is another great song by Cody Jinks, also mamas song, somewhere in the middle, fast hand, David, cast no stones, and never alone always lonely.
I just seen Cody Jinks at Red Rocks back in October! I believe this recording is from two years ago! Red Rocks is a must and Cody Jinks is really good! You guys should listen to the studio version of this song and definitely check out and react to more Cody Jinks!!!👍🏻
If you listen to a studio version its not as busy but its live and the end of the set so everyone is kinda cutting loose listen to the record and compare to give it a more accurate view
You gotta do Loud and Heavy! 👍🏼 And Must Be The Whiskey! 🥃 The break with the audience singing, Dustin, I usually like, probably depends on the artist and song. There’s nothing like that connection with the audience when you’re really into it. Just puts me there!
We've gotten through almost everything that's been sent to us in the past 5-6 months. I just checked all our content for the life of the channel, and that's not popping up. I also don't have it in our queue. - Keith
@@BourbonCountryReacts I’m curious if they never shipped it with the others. Yall did the other 3 and they was supposed to have all been delivered together. Heck I think it was last February. Worse part is it’s had a unique story behind the bottle too.
The weird thing is that the name of the bottle rings a bell to me. Let me check our offline video archive and see if we missed an upload or something. I'll try to look for that some time this morning. I'll let you know what I find or don't. - Keith
Funny, i sent a request for this exact performance a long time ago with a bottle of Motorhead bourbon but it never made it there. Cody is cool. He actually started out doing thrash metal believe it or not. Check out Cast No Stones or Loud & Heavy. Both a different vibe from this song. You said the guitarist was the most talented but i think the pedal steel player was pretty damn good, too!
Great artist. try must be the whiskey. Or loud and heavy. But some of his songs are really deep my favorite is the song “which one I feed”. Y’all guys have a great channel.
So the headache is real. I am sure they are all talented but it felt to me like walking into a practice room where everyone was practicing a different part. I won't say I wouldn't watch the bad, but not in this song. That said.... Ummm Willie Nelson.. Literally a hippy cowboy...
As always, I love the reaction. Cody jinks is a very nuanced performer and his band is and yeah the song is bipolar to say the least. But it is bipolar in a very good way.
Its Dark Side of the Moon..not Dark Side of the Wall....This is the second best band in n country music..The 400 Unit are the best. You dont mention the brilliant lyrics to this song.
Great taste Sheila. Cody Jinx is amazing!!!
Thank you. Cody is one of my favorites.

Thank you for the compliment lol
The studio version I truly don't hear any jazz I just hear a country song. Also what is truly the difference between jazz and blues

Cody jinks is my favorite country artist he’s from Fort Worth Tx yall have to check some other songs !
Haltom City y'all
Listen to the non live. I really enjoy Cody jinks. Listen to “David” and “loud and heavy” also
i agree these reaction videos they should never listen to the live version
His metal band canned by nod is solid!!! He's just a South Texas boy. And makes good music. Check out his story telling in the song David
David is an amazing song, too.
I’m not the Devil is another fantastic song by Cody Jinks❤

It cracks me up you don't think the hippies and cowboys hang out together. Any rural bar will prove they do
The Great Willie Nelson is a Hippie AND a Cowboy . . . theory shattered

But it falls squarely in the umbrella of 'Red Dirt'
Cody covered wish you were here

He's not new. He's been around musically since '98 and in country since '05.
Loud and heavy is another great song by Cody Jinks, also mamas song, somewhere in the middle, fast hand, David, cast no stones, and never alone always lonely.
Listen to What Else Is New. Great Waylon vibe.
It's not country but you need to check it out. Vince Gill ~ Rocky Mountain Way (Joe Walsh cover) with Keith Urban
For sure GIlmore influence. 100%

# studio version
Cody Jinks is awesome. I think you guys will have fun moving through his catalog.
If you like this you should do David by him it’s about his friend and what happens when Cody got back from the corps

I was trying to find out if y’all had a bottle I had sent last February. It was a bottle of Blue Note Juke Joint.

Please do Mamas Song live from Red Rocks!!! One of the best performances I’ve seen by him
Y'all should definitely checkout his song "David" ....it's such a great story song.
Check out “Cast No Stones” by Cody Jinks you would like it I promise
Cody Jinks is damn good live.

Very very cool song 🤓 Love the vibe.💚🎵🎤
So you all do these videos in the am?8am wow
We definitely do not do this at 8AM. They're previously recorded. - Keith
Sorry didn't mean to upset you! But you should listen to DON RICH YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED

Yall should check out cast no stones by Cody
There is a song " multiple personalities" by Shedaisy. There are 0 reactions to it that I saw. Be the 1st?

To me, Jazz is Organized Chaos played to sound like Pure Chaos

Great sounding group of instruments that didn't quite connect. I like the voice to, so the possibilities are there, let's hear more!
The Amelas One
Steel guitar isn’t jazz but it’s salty.
