I didn’t know his name till after his death. As I kid, I remember him fondly in Striking distance. He had so much charisma.
It’s disappointing his life ended this way.

Charemon went to PVHS in phoenix az and she graduated in 1991. She didnt attend all 4 years and was close friends with some of my own friends. I hardly knew her but she seemed nice. Her sister was Christine and she was a year or two older. I think either Christine or Charemon pl(or both)! Played on the Paradise Valley High School volleyball team. Think her sister may have also been on the pom line but i may be mistaken. She was very pretty and think she arrived at PV either our soph ore or junior year - not sure which one so it would e been 1989-1990 when she came to PVHS and im almost possitive she graduated with pretty decent grades. She was me tioned at our 20 year reunion but I didnt attend and that is where I first heard of the loss. I also believe her parents wanted custody of her daughter immediately following the death because they never believed she wouldbe committed suicide especially because kf her daughters age and how much motherhood aparently agreed with her. I didnt know her well, as i said but she and i had mutual friends and most of my classmates don't believe she killed herself either. I cannot speak as to what she was like as an adult or as a heavy drinker (she metPastorelli at a) but i dont believe everybody changes with addiction and since she was only 25 yrs old she mightve had a pretty good head on her shoulders considering she was already going to AA at that age to get help. I think she was anvery strong willed person and becUse i heard she was home a few weeks before the incident and wanting to bring her daughter back and remain here fuol time herself , and i also went through an abusive relationship at the same age, i definitely believe he shot her to prevent her leaving with their daughter even though be obviously was still dating his ex that he later had another daughter with the year after Charemon's death. BTW- her name is pronounced like the toilet paper just in case u were wondering..

Death was not classified/undetermined at the time of Charemon's death but LA county coroner examined the evidence again after her parents persisted in their belief that she was killed because she was planning on returning to Arizona just prior to his death. The police determined that the weapon had been handled after Charemon waa killed and crime scene appeared to be staged. So coroner reclassified the death as a homicide.

I think the rumor that Natasha was a witness is true. If you’re just going to lie by bringing another celebrity into this, why pick someone as small and random as Natasha? So… I think it’s true. They both (Robert/Natasha) had big drug problems, so you can understand there being a link between the two… as acquaintances, friends, or possibly more.

I'm glad you somewhat covered this because on Wikipedia it says that Natasha was present during The killing. It's believed that pastorelli's girlfriend walked in on them having sex and that's when everything escalated..... On another note I started looking into him back in high school because I was a fan of the kid movie 'A simple wish' 😅.

Wow. Thank you for this. I was watching the movie Dances with Wolves. The scene where Timmons get killed by the Natives really upset me because I felt his character didn't deserve such a horrid death 😟 So naturally I looked up who played him and was saddened to find out he was dead. Then it unfolded into this dark, murder mystery 😲 Looking at what I've read, it seems like the girlfriend came home, found them in bed and a fight ensued. He could have been trying grab the gun and it went "off" and said she killed her self. Pastorelli and the other chick didn't want to by suspects, so she bolted and he didn't mention her being there. I feel drugs were most definitely probably involved with all this. Just so sad that his character died tragically and so did he in real life 😢

Heroin will show up as morphine in the blood sample as it dissipates. Of course I don't have the coroner's report to see what the toxicity levels are but I do know what happens to heroin as it is expended in the blood. Have a happy day.

How pathetic would a cop have to be, in order to be in awe of Robert Pastorelli? "Beloved"? He was a journeyman. I mean, give Floyd the Barber a pass on a murder first, that's the scale we're talking about here.
Think about it, they went after Robert Blake. Blake had a couple of TV series, one was a success, he starred he wasn't a quirky minor character. He was on the Tonight Show 6800X. If they were handing out passes for murders at the Pastorelli level, Blake could have been a serial killer.
Cops are touchy about actors murdering people. Ask Fatty Arbuckle. Yeah, a lawyer can get you out of it, but it's expensive and that has nothing to do with the cops.

I hate that this shit is public, and i hate stumbling across stuff like this (love true crime youtube tho all peace and love). It was a heroin overdose. He was clean for years, a doctor (a stupid one) prescribed him b-12 shots (who tf prescribes that to a former intravenous drug user???) and it triggered a relapse. He was not in bed with anybody when charemon (pronounced shar-min) “walked in”. the “insider” is bs.

I’m sorry for your loss and I empathise as I have lost a sibling in tragic circumstances. I would’ve hated for my private grief to become fodder for every single nitwit on the internet with an opinion. It was bad enough for it to be talked about in my small town, walking into places and having a hushed silence come over everybody and knowing they were giving their five cents worth about it, overhearing people talking about it and saying utter rubbish. I’m so very sorry Gia that you have to come across such lurid speculation of your father. I love true crime but people have to always be aware that for every story the people featured are somebody’s loved ones and it should be handled with sensitivity and without gossip and speculation.
For what it’s worth, I believe you that your father simply relapsed. It happens. I also doubt there was a second party who happened to slip away, it would’ve come up in the investigation. I’m always highly dubious about unknown “insiders”. I feel what happened in 1999 was a tragedy. He was cleared of any involvement and I doubt the police would’ve been so star struck as to not do a full and professional investigation.
